a lot of times people trap me in things that folow you if you try to use those items that let you faze through things other times they just dont work because its to cramped + im normaly w/ some of my best frends on the game so i dont want to leave them behind what do i do then

i hate traps ( though i AM guilty of making a caging bracelet.. :s) though how i got out of them black cages ( from the cheap freebie cagers most greifers use) i sat on them

Another way is to right-click the roof of the cage and sit on it. You should sit on the top of the cage, free to go. ^^

Have to careful though, it depends upon the type of cage....SOME are traps and if you right-click and sit, they can orbit or "Trash" your avatar. I rez a prim and sit on it, or use the main map to TP nearby.

You can always spoil there fun though, by pressing Ctrl+Shift up and H, this instantly TPs you home and makes it appear you intended to TP just at that moment!

@tjzil Ok so this is a year too late , better late than never though eh ? Theres a free HUD called U bar , you can get it at lots of weapon stores , I know that mayhem weapons definatly has it (sim name is Albany) , that has whats called an NPV (non phys vehicle) you can basicly sit on that and float through anything , including cages.

If you want more than that then you can get an expensive HUD like abaddon or qhud which have great deffences ,U-bar is enough though.
