I lost my best friend of 13 years just 2 months ago, a black labrador named Shadow.

Her leash now serves as a strap for my brass guitar... sure miss that 'ol gal...

She was the best dog to walk the earth. Well, next to Teejay of course. ;-)

I sure wish dogs and cats had longer life spans, but sadly they just don't. I'm sure Teejay's 12 years were filled with much happiness and love... I have to admit I was singing this song yesterday but I changed the words to fit the personality of my granddog, kimber. My changed words were " I'm glad we have our doggie named kimber who bites feet and chews on our clothes. She steals food off of the kitchen table. Then waits for kiss and a hug!
