  • "What the thinker thinks, the prover proves" :)

  • Ok, i read these comments hoping to find some hint of intelligence, yet i find a comment about gay and lesbian marriage.. and people don't understand why religious "folk" think its wrong for gasy to be married, first you have to understand that marriage came about because of what we read in the bible god claiming to knwo that we cannot resist have coitus suggest that we should commit completely to our sexual partner by getting married.. not so my b/f can get some kind of benefits.

  • @MrTickleme69 yeah, ok. The first part of your comment was going .....somewhere. Then it changed and went nowhere. Then i realized you where talking about gay marriage and i lost all respect for you. marriage may have been "commercialized" by christianity, but the union of ANY two people has been around before christianity so, when you say"Marriage came about because of the bible" you should probably try to understand the history of amn. And beleive me, its a very very long book.

  • @MrTickleme69 Man, not amn, that was silly of me was'nt it?

  • Is not our brain and our instruments made from the same reality that we are trying to explain? So should not they follow the same principles of operation ( the laws of nature) and be able to explain then accurately. I agree that there is error in our perceptions when we forget the we live by interpretation ( as demonstrated presently in america because gays are somehow inferior and not allowed to legally marry) but i do believe that we can find truth of the workings of the universe.

  • How can one accurately measure an illusion?

  • A Combination of Spherical Enfolding Positron-Waves of the "Quantum Anti-matter Astral Light," in cycles, forms our matter, (Our Unfolding Electron Out-waves.) (You and me) Matter is a fine balance of positive and negative electric charges coming in and out of existence, creation and annihilation, positron enfolding-wave and electron unfolding-wave, forming and breaking, contracting and expanding, unconscious and conscious, becoming and passing, "Enfolding +/- Unfolding moments of spacetime."

  • Our Universe is in continuous creation, formed by a combination of enfolding positron-waves! It is the inward absorption and outward emission of EMR, that forms anti-matter matter annihilation forming positive and negative electric charge and electromagnetic fields. Matter is a fine balance of positive and negative electric charges coming in and out of existence, forming and breaking, + waves and - electric-wave, unconscious and conscious, creation and annihilation or becoming and passing.

  • A Huygens combination enfolding spherical positron-waves, from all other matter in our observable spherical region of a Universe. the same waves that forms our thoughts and feelings, in cycles, forms our matter or unfolding electron out-waves! The Out-waves will Enfold the In-waves thus storing information is a Huygens combination (as above same below) Anti-matter positron positive charge and matter electron negative charge form a profound and perfect symmetey becoming and breaking. Simple!!

  • Truth, and truth as we know it. Quantum mechanics is trying to explain truth as we know it. truth could be something entirely different. I am not convinced that quantum mechanics is true. I keep trying to find a video that will proove it to me. Just because I can't see something does not mean it does not exist(actually existing, not existing in my mind) If you believe it you have to believe that the universe is imaginary and fake. That i cannot believe in because all i have is logic.

  • WHAT SONG IS THIS

  • Kinda sounds like the Trinity to me folks. Think about it.

  • i went to my friends class that was about quantum physics and i couldnt make sense of a single sentence those guys were talking about and i have taken Univ-physics before!

  • and remember folks....he dumbed it down ALOT

  • So if an electron is everywhere until you try to measure it, why don't physicists set up an experiment where they all measure electrons, together for 10 minutes. See how it acts when 500 people are measuring it at the same time, I know it will probably appear in 500 places but what if just 1 or 2 act differently and we get a new window into physics. I am not a physicists, I can't do the math, but I do "get it" and this idea of an experiment just popped into my head randomly.

  • Quantum Physics is not any different than what Quantum Mechanics' Quantum Physics has been covered up by the good book' to some extent but not inclusively' Light is not protons its just a word' Light illuminates off any relfective surface object or particle' perception has depths but we are speaking about metaphysical depths' knowing the depths within any experience' we all have our own reality tunnels predicated within any and all complexity which is too broad a subject unless you are a guru

  • Fuck God he's fake. Quantum mechanics proves it.

  • Its all real' there is just too much going on all at the same time to think that there is some motion picture to time' reality tunnels are individual perspective impressioned through chance' there is simply no way to explain it all'

  • @AlbertEinsteinSr You have a great analagy going there' it becomes any maner within defining any physical truth which philosophical interpretations produce' its like Plato's Meno with Socrates' did he write it before or after his death? Socrates was poor' but he was wise because he wasnt attached to any inducement to image?

  • @WE2much

Why do you "know" he is real? Because of faith because you believe in him. Faith: blind belief in something. Belief: thinking something to be true without logic.

Why do you want to believe in a god? Because you are not strong enough to grasp the entities of life. You cannot bear to believe that after life comes death. Nothing else. Do we believe in Zeus and Hades? No. In a couple years your god idea will be just as bastardized and mythology. Just you wait.

  • i cant respond to all of u because u r 2 close minded and i am 2 close minded and i cant try to argue something were we think were both absolutely right, and God is real and if u dont think so u r wrong, simple as that.Trying to say he is not real is not using logic.saying that everything just got here by chance is ridiculously absurd.

  • If god is said to be Omniscient and Omnipotent, this would mean that he would have to be every single person and live their live from the inside to be all knowing, and every single physical action of the world would have to be that of God to be Omnipotent, and they arent, this is an unavoidable conclusion. So if God isnt living every single life from the inside and every single physical action isnt Gods physical action, this means god is limited, henceforth not infinite, worthy of pondering

  • @WE2much You are a very confused person.

  • I believe there is a god...but I also believe it's irrelevant to the scientific method physics. It is just something philosophical when it comes to answering the afterlife or the cause of many unexplained phenomenons that even we could not explain for centuries. Just remember the difference between a theory and fact.

  • @JacopeX Anyone can believe' however there is no proof to any sense within any concept to creation' there is simply no way to explain why anything exists when it comes to life' we are conscious beings and humanity is being conditioned within any sense to vanity'

  • Knowledge is the enemy of faith

  • "any model we make does not describe the universe. It describes what our brains are capable of saying at this time". I love that!

  • Fuck everybody who watches this incredibly insightful and enlightening video and then tries to make it a conversation about their "God".

This video has NOTHING to do with any "God" or "Gods".

The topic is quantum physics, which has shed far more light on the universe than your ancient scriptures could ever hope to match.

I get that you're insecure about your faith, and want to justify it when it hurts. But please believe that anyone who gives a shit already agrees with you, so it's useless.

  • lol i came here after trying lsd

  • @icutrollin quoting buzz lightyear, you are one strange and sad little man

  • I miss Santa Cruz. Been a long time since I last lived there.

  • all of us are idiot according to space and time... am i wrong?

  • We're trying to answer something that cannot be answered with regards to god... because god defies logic and if you argue against it you're using logic. An analogy for the situation is.. reality is like a box.. we're stuck inside the box and unable to escape and we've never been outside the box therefore we're unable to know for sure what is outside the box without guessing. There is not way of proving it because we're apart of reality. Stop trying you'll drive yourself mad.

  • @dashedude2

you(listener) understood Dr. Wilson clearly enough, to disprove your point, if he repeats himself the chances are you will understand him again...

  • @WE2much So what im trying to say is we cant ask the question who created God because we try to put God in time and we cant do that because he created time.God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end and we will never be able to understand God.All you should know is that he loves you and he wants to have a personal relationship with you. What an awesome thing!

  • @WE2much Time was created by humans its an interval... time is not a definite thing. The reason we can't comprehend god is because of what I said below. I almost feel like that's what you were getting at.

  • @WE2much

What I'm trying to say is your pathetic attempt at using logic to prove the validity of a baseless claim, like your "God" is indisputably the end all answer to all of life's questions, is about as helpful to man's never ending quest for knowledge as shitting your pants on an airplane.

Stinks up the entire cabin, and the only thing we learn is that you're carrying around a load of crap.

  • @dwells89 its sad that your pathetic attempt at looking smart or having some knowledge that everyone else does not will result in you burning in hell. that saddens me and ill pray for you. i just hope you look at all possibilties and dont rule out god just because it might seem impossible. god is amazing and we cant understand him comepletley and some ppl have a problem admitting they are wrong. ive looked at the possibilities and god is the answer without a doubt.

  • @WE2much "some ppl have a problem admitting they are wrong."

    You're one of them.

  • I dont understand why some of you try to explain God, or why God isnt real. What you try to say is if God created everything who created him.God created time, so we cant try to put god inside of time because he created time. Therefore our human mind cant possibly comprehend God because our brains have to put God inside of time, but God created time so we cant put him inside of time.God is the beginning and end.So he was here before time, and he created everything including time.

  • @WE2much how can he/she/it/them create time if he never existed? Just because it has to be something outside of time doesn't automatically make it god. The burden of proof is still there because the lack of something to prove something does not prove something else. Saying 2+2 is NOT 3, 4, 6 or 30 does not AUTOMATICALLY mean that it is 50 just because that's the only answer our mind could come up with. We don't now the answer, the closest we are is the big bang theory.

  • @WE2much : manbo jumbo umbo tipo tapo ... If you have the minimum of modesty you do not need gods to explain your ignorance.

  • @WE2much a simple resolution to you not looking like an arrogant turd would be to at least state "in my opinion" and not spout out garble as if it is proven truth. Where are your sources for these claims? For some supposed omnipotent, omniscient & omnipresent being HE still seems limited by a gender, a somewhat human trait. Perhaps this characteristic was the icing on the cake when us humans created him to explain what we were, at the time, too simple to comprehend and explain.

  • @WE2much and in the end all you theist do is talk and provide no proof :)

  • @OooGodOfWarooO

    no proof?

look around you. you will see all the proof you need.I want you to prove how all this got here.Thats right you can't don't try.The only explanation is God and I hope you realize that.

    Good bye and God bless.

  • Until you question why you believe what you believe,

Your faith is never really your own.

It’s just a matter of someone else’s opinion,

    Adopted as yours,

And passed off as your own.

  • so this is related to what happened in the double slit experiment??

  • A physicist who watches this video gets a completely different thought than a layman who watches this. I know, because I saw it when I was a layman (a kid many years ago), and then again as an actual physicist. But what shocks me more, is not how different the two views I have are, but their similarities.

  • as a 14 year old, i love this

  • Comment removed

  • as a psyc student i love this

  • Richard Feynman should have alive to hear this. It is best explanation Quantum Electro Dynamics. What a great way to define & explain the most confusing attribute of Energy & Matter. I really wish I had said all that. Well congratulations.

  • wait.. so that is wat quantum physics is? I thought it had to do with neutrons and shit. So, I gotz dis .. its like wat your brain can handle? like you thin u know sumtin but you rlly don cuz u don gotz da brain functions yet? Like your perseptin on dat shit. Do i understand it? or i still have no fucking clue? (The bad grammar was because I was bored and just shortened any work I could. haha)

  • @runeflame16 Quantum mechanics is a branch of physics that studies the behavior of subatomic particles. What makes it so interesting is that the subatomic world is a world vastly different than the world that we see everyday around us at larger macroscopic scales. People think that subatomic particles like protons and electrons are like little balls of matter, but they're not. They are an entity that can be in multiple states at once. They can be in many places at the same time. Very unintuitive

  • @runeflame16 I mean no offense with this comment, i just read you comment, thought of what you wrote, and then laughed because you shorted the message down to write less, and then made up for that by having to explain why you did it, so in the end you didn't save a single click :D

  • Many people say that believers are weak-minded and naive.

    Let's think :

You would never think that your computer appeared out of nowhere. Yet, we try to prove that our universe and ourselves appeared by chance. This is faith, not science.

What if God created all the universe from scratch ?

What if he created all matter and all the laws of physics ?

What if he created time ?

Then no one can understand who God is, although we can prove His existence, but we can try through science !

  • This video didnt exist up untill I found out that it did.:)

  • @HawK047 Nice comment, amazing how quantum mechanics work, thanks for finding me lol.

  • @icutrollin u r a very small minded person

  • @icutrollin either you are trolling, or you believe in God, and only Him, as a 'creator' because you cannot even contemplate reality.

    You: How do i think?

Me: Use your head and think behind the wall.

You: But its too hard, I'll just believe in a man who made everything.

Me: But what made him, if he made everything?

    You: I don't know, it doesn't matter.

Me: Your loss. Don't learn the truth, and hide behind a metaphorical brick wall of lies which is easier for you.

  • @Eminicrispy GOD made man in HIS image!!! not some crazy scientists image. By heavenly decree you shall now be smoted in the balls. Amen.

  • @icutrollin ok first of all, i never said God created man in a scientist's image xD only a true idiot would interpret my comment like that. I'm saying there is no God until i'm proved wrong.you wanna prove me wrong go ahead;how has an abstract idea (being, for those who believe in 'Him') created human out of nothing, how does one copy oneself? it is not only impossible, but there's no proof as well.there is evidence of man/mammal adapting from the start of microorganisms, but not a man in the sky

  • @Eminicrispy Sorry, I also didnt PUT words into your mouth but, God knows what you said! My poor child, if YOU begin to examine a conjecture with the prejudice that is already impossible before you HAVE proved one way or an other then you are certain to be blind to evidence to the contrary. I shall pray for you, but please, try not to be so arrogant from now on, for it displeases him.

  • @icutrollin i still ask you to prove, just one piece of evidence, of CERTAIN evidence, nothing superstitious, that God is real. In order to believe something, i would like to know why i should believe it. This world, this Galaxy, this Universe, could have been created without a superior being. There was no Adam and Eve, there was Neanderthals, who evolved from single celled microorganisms, and evolved later into us. As far as I know, the Bible is nothing but a story book. So please, give me proof

  • @icutrollin (your name here)

  • @icutrollin You are the arrogant one. Anyone who claims to know anything about what God thinks, wants, does, etcetera, is arrogant because those beliefs are unsubstantiated, and you may be praying to an imaginary ghost.

  • @tonysupermax Paul to the Romans Chap 1

23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God, into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creepy things. the good book has been a very devisive book' the imagination of a worldview assumes a looming eye' this god thing is all about there being no real plan, but where is there to go? The good book is about social guiding principles written by a poet' playwright attempting to define intrinsic Anthropology'

  • @tonysupermax You have no rights to state that theory with out proof AND i thought you "scientists" didnt believe in ghost.

  • @tonysupermax Suggestion! How about following your own advice.

We lack the senses and for most people, we lack the mental

capacity to understand, that which can't be understood, by us.

If you are against following rules created by men about

'god', I agree! If you are trying to 'scope out' god with your

racinating 'mind' then YOU don't understand!

  • @icutrollin you sound like verry bad person though ...

  • @icutrollin You aren't making your religion look particularly worthwhile if a 'good Christian' is someone as bigoted and closed-minded as you. Please consider this for the next time you feel like persuading people to convert.

  • wow... this was so cool! husserl man i love when scientists qoute philosphers !

  • wow 10 idiots that watched this video...surprised only that the number is not higher. brilliant work here.

  • bullshit

  • I think he's a bit cuckoo... Truth is absolute. Truth is objective. Sure, when he tells you that every perception is a gamble, he has to be speaking authoritatively and objectively. Poor man...

  • @millball If anything, human experience is increasingly showing (the hard way I might add) that there is absolutely nothing absolute about "truth". In social arrangements, we find that every system aimed at creating a perfectly harmonious society falls apart eventually (Ten Commandments, Communism, Technocracy), and now we find it even holds true for science, with the famed Theory of Everything being something that cannot be achieved.

Absolutism is a delusional concept held by uneducated minds.

  • @GluttonForSex ...rite, and I'm yogi bear.

  • @millball Heheh. Feel free to prove me wrong by creating a perfect world out there. Shouldn't be too difficult to achieve for someone who knows and wields The Absolute Truth Of Things, no?

Of course, you wouldn't be the first one to make such an attempt. We've had, Jesus, Karl Marx, and a few others. Thus far, they've all come crashing down the mountain. Hard.

Quoting Richard Feynman: "I think nature's imagination is so much greater than man's. She's never going to let us relax."

  • @GluttonForSex I think therefore I exist. Bang, there's you're proof of an absolute truth.

I don't know where I said absolutes will create a harmonious society. All I was saying is that there are absolutes in reality and simple logic confirms that, as proved above.

Jesus said in John 14:6 - "I am the way, the truth & the life!. Nobody comes to the Father [God] but through me."

Repent of your sin! thank the Lord for His precious son! JOHN 3:16

  • @millball Are you alive and not alive at the same time? Because it can't be contested will you assume that what I'm saying is absolute truth?

  • @ryanbeatbox ...buh?

  • @millball What about when you don't think, such as in deep meditation. Something which I have personally experienced many times. Do I, then, not exist in those moments of "no mind"? Descarte was only scratching the surface my friend. The quote is a great signpost to something far beyond human understanding.

  • @Redsparrowe123 Word games Red... I won't entertain them. Thought or lack thereof isn't why we exist, but its simply proof of existence. Where did conciousness come from? An impersonal unconcious universe doesnt create intelligence.

  • @millball ah yes, but the bible pins down the origin of consciousness. As soon as you introduce faith your argument falls flat. God may have created consciousness, but there could be another explanation. just admit that, like anyone who ever existed, you aren't positive how the spark of life was ignited. Thanks for calling me Red though, i feel like I'm in the Big Lebowski.

  • @Redsparrowe123 haha-no probs. So, let me rephrase your question; "How do I know the claim of the Bible is true over say the Vedas,Koran etc?" Admittedly I do have faith, but its not sheer blind faith. From my standpoint I'm 100% positive where the spark of life was ignited. Undoubtedly followed by a cascade of How,Where,Why,When?" My answer simply is the Holy Bible. I could easily go into a debate but its futile purely because I can bring a horse to water but cant make him drink. :)

  • I think he's a bit cuckoo... Truth is absolute. Truth is objective. Sure, when he tells you that every perception is a gamble, he has to be speaking authoritatively and objectively. Poor man...

  • When my Christian friends watch this, they'll finally understand me.

  • great thinker...

  • I wish I could have smoked with this guy and had a chat.

  • @catalystdrums123 yeah man, well said. Me too.

  • @jeffrey42088 true dat

  • Thats scary! An electron could be looking at you this very moment!

  • does he smoke pot

  • @edwardmanboy

WHAT? it like your asking dose Albert Einstein smoke pot you moron!

  • Live it as a human being with a brain to think and process and as a human who gas faith in something greater J.C

  • Click here and watch! ---> 5:31 Notice again how he goes from mid life crisis to drunk santa claus slash GOD in a flash! Made me lol anyway

  • Watch again the switch from 5:30 again, I love the moment when he ages 100 years and looks a lot more desperate! He's like "Shit no ones getting the message and all the stress has made my hair and eyebrows awefully untidy! At least I have this fine suit that matches my hair"

  • wtf. wow.

  • Reality Tunnels

  • For every great truth, the opposite is also true.

    Life IS paradox.

  • He's applying the quantum behavior of the subatomic world to the superatomic world in which we live.

Just because you can't measure a particle's momentum and position at the same time, doesn't mean there are no truths and/or absolutes to be dealt with in in this world.

Einstein complained about people doing the same thing with his relativity theory.

  • He is one of my hero. He was one of the last autonomous individuality. R. I. P. Robert Anton Wilson (1932-2007)

  • January 11, 2007 i went into lycergic diethilamide journey with closest friends, we recalled it's Al Hoffman's birthday, honored him. later realized it was a last day of RAW. unfortunatelly, he did not make it until the singularity of december 21.

but we'll shurely see him on the main dancefloor later.

  • we percieve only what we believe in, filtering other signals and, in turn, we believe only in what we percieve mostly.

to xpand perception we have to update or reality map consensus.

  • each perception is built upon some model (world map) so it's fundamentally fake

  • he makes sense to me

  • To whoever put this video together: it would have been better if you omitted the lame background music so the words being spoken towards the end could actually be heard.

  • @TestosteroneJunkie The BoC track is perfect for this video :(

  • Why did i born in central america???? I love this!

  • Bravo!

  • I got this gut feeling that provided we don't kill ourselves off or wreck or civilization by things like overpopulation, pollution or war, that in a few hundred years people will figure out these quantum mysteries. (They're already hard at work.) And it'll all make sense then, and our current models will probably look rather... quaint. Or at best like Newton's models, which where replaced by Einstein's models (Which will probably be replaced too, seeing what we know at the moment.)

  • @Shavarnarak

Simply put though... it's quite obvious that humanity doesn't quite understand the true fundamental nature of physics yet, in spite of what we do know already.

I think that's hopeful actually. Who knows what a true understanding of the fundamental nature of the cosmos might bring? Perhaps easy ways to generate tons of energy, or even ways to travel through the cosmos effectively. Based on things we simply haven't begun to figure out yet.

  • what if just what if,this is all balls and the universe observses us and we are made by whatever it is to see itself, maybe darwin is bigger than we think, sorry for the spelling

  • looks like quantum mechanics made him nuts by the end of his career

  • its really weird, if I'm understanding it right, particles/waves all sorts of stuff behave different when you watch them.

wether its a machine or a human, its different.

woosh, that's WEIRD XD! weird but its very interesting!

  • I perceive this to be awesome.

    With my limited awesomeness. :)

  • At 3:03 is THE BEST explanation of Quantum Physics I have ever heard!!! FINALLY!!! THANK YOU!!!

  • I wanna buy this dude a beer! CHEERS! ;B

  • This guy seems like a very intelligent yet very confused person.

  • Unsystematic, haphazard explanation. Poor science.

  • I hear some Boards of Canada!

  • "Any model we make does not discribe the universe, it discribes what our brains are capable of saying at this time"

    - WOW, 100% true.

  • stay away from this shit if u wanna live

  • Explained simply? I think he mystified it more than anything else.

Physics is formulated very precisely, and must be explained using maths, or in some way that's equally clear, precise and meaningful.

Beware people who intentionally undermine clarity of thought. They want you to lose your bearings. When that happens, you're theirs - they get your soul, you become a MUG.

  • @Chronosaur NOOOO!! UR JOKING!!

  • @Chronosaur I think you're a little too cynical.

  • 2:50 he is not high????

  • you have to be high to get it.

  • It may be somewhat of a paradox, some may argue, that in arguing the subjectivity of both perceptions and interpretations of reality, Dr. Wilson assumes that some objective reality exists where the meanings of the words he is speaking is indeed consistent with what his listener understands. If he really believed these things would he bother to attempt to communicate any of his wisdom? There would be no point, for mutual understanding is impossible in a purely subjective reality

    (?)

  • Your perception is true, based only on your own ability to understand and reason. According to his truth, we only have the truth we entertain. I, on the other hand only hear him saying that a chimp named Mr. Nubbs is wearing a red and white cowboy suit, riding a unicycle while drinking a bottle of tequila pulling a shaved lama.

  • @dashedude2 great comment

  • @dashedude2

    Smartass.

  • @dashedude2 it may be possible if other people's perceptions of what he is saying are similar to one another. for example, everyone who speaks english will have a common grounds in their perception in that they all understand the words he is saying. and some of these people will think he is right, others will think he is wrong. this means that some people will recive, understand and believe what he is saying, so there is a point of communicating this wisdom.

  • @qpwo6. I hear you, but he seems to be arguing for a subjective reality. I think I understand that quantum mechanics is inherently unpredictable, but it has never been proven to effect human-size physics. math people can still predict things if they have the information. Our computers work because physics is insanely predictable. I agree our perceptions differ, probably a lot, but he's/you/me's talkings about reality. idk

  • @dashedude2 I believe in that old proverb "The instant you speak about a thing, you miss the mark." But just because people don't always understand what you're saying (just because peoples' realities aren't identical) doesn't mean it's completely futile to at least put forth an attempt to describe your own. The act of me posting this, or the act of Robert giving a speech is an attempt at helping others expand the coverage of their own personal realities. Help a brotha out! ...lol

  • @KrAzYkArL18769 i dig you man, thats why i don't buy his claims about what the weirdness of quantum mechanics imply's for our human existence. while I agree there are many realms of personal belief that one need not seek objective corroboration, he seems to imply that because of quantum uncertainty any belief about anything is exactly as likely true as the next, which is not true for me at least. idk

  • @dashedude2

True but it seems likely that most of our terminology would coincide even if our realities are personal. Simply because we are all human and we are brought up in basically the same way. Not to say that there isn't a great deal of variation between people's understanding, but they should be similar enough so that we can converse without being overly worried that the other person can't understand.

Either way he is clearly a great speaker. Very lyrical.

  • @dashedude2 with that kind of thinking nothing would have a point, we're for the most part self aware, he's just sharing his knowledge within the confines of our own understanding. Some parts of Human perception are the same to all people ie the urge to eat and procreate. He lived with the rest of us after all, some human characteristics are bound to be present ie sharing knowledge, after all it made his life quite efficient/$/satisfied family/his bloodline set/mission accomplished as a human

  • @dashedude2 That point you just brought up may be the same as when someone asks a Zen Master what the meaning of Zen is, they will just start at you blankly.

  • I perceive this to be awesome.

    With my limited senses. :P

  • great man

  • the minute you think you understand reality, reality changes, so you understand nothing, reality evolves, it isnt constant, but you can understand more as you study, but you will never know it all

  • How?

  • k it looks like wat i wrote was deleted...but ill explain...they say there another world one we cant c whoa...the bible said that...this life to me isnt that fullfilling ok...

  • You're a mumbling fool, this is not the age of superstition and worshiping imaginary beings; this is the age is SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY, so stop talking, faggot!

  • this is amazing

  • Good video!

In my video The Paradox of Schrodingers Cat an artist view Time has symmetry and geometry. Could this explain the measurement problem and entanglement within Einsteins curvature of spacetime?

  • Interesting that he should refer to the way that Chinese philosophy has no problem with quantum mechanics. Niels Bohr used the yin/yang symbol in his Nobel crest. Fritjof Capra's book "The Tao of Physics" is worth reading too.

"If you think you understand quantum theory, you don't understand quantum theory" (Bohr? Einstein?)

"You never really get to understand quantum theory. You just get used to it." (Again, possibly Bohr...?)

  • the only regret i have is not being able to find out the answere .. at least not in this life time.

  • I've got the idea that we're ON TO SOMETHING with our understanding of physics, but we're still completely wrong. Which is why different theories of physics work, but aren't compatible with each other and why everything is so damn confusing.

It's kind of like old Newtonian physics, those worked great for a lot of things... yet they where wrong! And thus some things where very confusing. (Like the orbit of Mercury for instance.)

I think we still have to work physics out.

  • Again though we are onto something! Newton was! Which is why Newtonian physics where very useful for many things and worked fine for those things.

It's just that we have bits of a puzzle, but we don't really understand the nature of the puzzle.

If the human race continues to flourish and progress scientifically. Einsteinian and Quantum Physics will both become outdated and be replaced by a more accurate model of physics still. (Which may still be wrong!)

  • Your wrongly calling incomplete theories "wrong." Newtonian physics is correct, and so is the classical physics of Einstein, and so is quantum mechanics, along with every other TESTABLE theory that has proven its predictions with experimentation. Are they the complete/final answers? No. There is always more to expand upon until we get to that final theory that encompasses everything. So you're right in the sense that were on to something, but misled in your thinking that we are constantly wrong.

  • Yes , although be careful about thinking that everyone`s "Reality tunnels" have equal validity.

Next time you are sat on a 747 ask yourself you would prefer a pilot who conformed to the commonly accepted model of physics , or one who thought gravity was an illusion caused by our naive realism

  • BoC!?!?!? Niiiiceeee!

  • they spent their lifetime trying to find out quantum physics.. yet we don't know anything.. keep guessing folks.

  • jjeeessus lol does he breath when he talks ?

  • To label things we know nothing about

  • the simple explanation is that everything is still a mystery....

  • This guy is the Master of the Universe.

  • to put in layman's terms, the universe is arranged as you see it depending on what you look at it with.

  • the universe is NOT "arranged" arrange is a subjective term and denotes being. its sounds like your saying the universe suddenly arranges itself when we look at it .....and thats utterly non-sense. its there before we even look at it, and cant be objectified. so we only know that we dont know it.

  • what...what...what...whawhat...what....SAY WHAT ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!

  • huh

  • 3:15-3:33 i completely agree because i have thought this before

  • so thats what he looks like

  • looked* like
