you see with sketches by monty python, there really is a high level of intellectual humor (EVEN this one) that goes into each one. usually though they are severely dumbed down to the popular crowd (of twats).

sometimes you have to ask yourself "if this was truely what they thought was funny, simply just a bunch of retards acting like doctors with hankerchiefs on their heads, then how the hell would they be smart enough to operate a camera?"

there's always a level of genius with monty python.

The British are 9 out of 10 times funnier than the rest of the world. All funny English comedians of today are somehow influenced by the Pythons.

On the other hand: the English also are really keen on those really lame sitcoms and comedians like Benny Hill.
