finally i beat the grim reaper... took me forever, but I was lucky enough to have holy water with the triple shot back from the beginning of level 5 and was able to kill him before any of his scythes appeared... I feel bad but whatever hahaha

Actually, Grim Reaper can be killed much more easily. If you start throwing holy water at him before he appears, he will be frozen when he appears and as long as you throw holy water at him he cannot do anything.

@idknuttin Well it is hard and my first time playing it it took 3 hours for me to beat it and now its 40 minutes, And this game is too hard when you jump you cant move in the air like Mario, Mario jumps in the air, Move left he falls left, Move right, He fall right, but in this game move left/right he just do nothing. So it depends if you suck about 5 hours or so if you really suck maybe 9 hours.

Try tosssing Holy Water at those Axe Armours and then move a few pixels back; the Axe Armours' AI pattern forces them to move back and forth at a set distance from Simon at all times (between three and four tiles) so they will walk right into the flames and melt within seconds. The holy water flames destroy their axes and stray medusa heads as well, which is rather useful in that Pesky Hallway Of Bullshittery leading to the Grim Reaper battle.

Btw DoS is a fantastic game and it looks great too you should defiantly get it if you can find a copy, and Harmony of Dissonance is great too, its a lot like the original NES and SNES Castlevania games.
