DLC costs $15 each, with elite you get all of them free. There are normally 4 DLC packs. That equals $60 total. That means you save $10 plus all the free DLC , stat tracking and more...it's simple math. You save money and have the added access and premium/founder status...use your common sense. Damn.

@AppleCadaver20 The thing is, is that Infinity Ward rarely comes out with more than two map packs. In fact, they've never come out with more. It is Treyarch who always comes out with the most (four). So estimating off of previous IW installments, you would be saving thirty dollars on DLC, and spending the other twenty for the service itself (which still isn't working for most).

If MW3 comes out with more than 4 DLC, then I rest my case and you save money.

I'm not hating on CoD but, I only like the story and Survival Mode. I just really wished CoD would try new things but I get easily bored with the multiplayer in about an hour. What people don't realise is that the only reason to get CoD Elite is to get the map packs for free (correct me if I'm wrong, but they said if you get premium you'll get all the dlcs for free) otherwise you have to pay 15 $ for each one, premium costs around 40 $ for 12 months and there will be a dlc pack every month for 12 months. In other words, if you want the dlc packs, buy premium in January 2012 for 35 $ to save around 140 $. But it's still expensive. We shouldn't have to pay any more.
