I was playing this one game called dune 2000, there was me and 2 other factions, so i made a huge, i mean a very huge army and when i went out to destroy them 2, i found them both dead, i was both mad and was laughing but i just continued and built a huge city.

I really hope you give the multiplayer another shot because its easy to dislike it at first. It has such a high learning curve, it may seem that the opponents just always rush but against a new player they will always do that. Once you figure out how your faction works you can begin to hold off the early rush and once you get past that point the game is quite intricate and fun. Theres MANY legit strategies besides the rush, but rushes are popular against newbs like myself :P

Great game but has issues where like musketeers dont fire in ranks but otherwise pretty good. But i agree with the poster they have called germany, prussia which was its real name back then and the germans should gotten musketeers.

in my opinion hard and medium has a big diffrence, on hard the computer makes u work a lot more.

the only real problem i had with AoE III was that when i reached the final age as Germany i was still using buffed two handed swordsmen units when i was using trains to go from trade station to trade station

Yea the germans should have been called prussia, and they should have had musketeers instead of late mid evil units.

@HeirofCarthage they should only accept veteran upgrade for doppelsoldner....and make skirmisher there main infantry with uhlans as main cavalty-tahts pruissa...or pretty much :P

I was playing on moderate difficulty because my skills were rusty. I used to play on hard when I played this game a lot. Easy is to easy, and sandbox is a joke.

i dont really like spain there units arnt that tough but its a challenge using them

Spain is Superior on age 3..thier units over power others of that age,Spearman can eat up Buildings and a army mixed with Muskets and Rodeleros(sry for the mispell) can break enemy ranks easy..also the spanish Healers can give a boost(in atk and/or Hitpoints) to near by Soldiers..sadly if your atks dnt work your opponent will over tech you..coming back with Stronger technology on age 4 (industrial age)...

so if playing as Spanish you need to master their FFA(Fast fortress Aging) and be a step ahead ofyour opponent..atking thier Eco and Buildings!

yeh but they'r still to easy to beat,i versed a sgt online and im a cpl he used spain i used france,his skill leval was like 23 mine is only 11,i beat him in 23 minutes

Spain is considered overpowered online due to their ridiculous shipment speed and ridiculous strong shipment.
