This is nothing short of brilliant in every way. Stephen and Matthew were in top form.They had me in tears. There's so much going on between them.I only hope this storyline gets revisited.They are the best.

i've already comment on the incredible acting from both these men... but i will say... so painfully gorgeous in addition to the painful sincerity in their acting. beautiful in every way, and like no band IMO will ever touch the Beatles, no soap will EVER touch days during this era. I want it back!!!

That was some performance from both Nichols & Ashford!

Steve prematurely, yet magnanimusly reaching out to his "baby brother". Jack still too stunned to fathom it all, much less reciprocate.

Steve as usual had me crying like baby for him.

Nichols was especially gorgeous here, maybe it was the haircut, or perhaps a few extra visits to the gym!?!

WOW you are so right... i have been a "Dool" fan since the 80's and then moved out to L.A. and got on 15 episodes myself from 2001-2004 which was awesome.. and as of three weeks ago i started watching As the stomach turns, LOL and some how got hooked on that story line which has failed and i found THIS clip here and thought, WOW! the acting back then was TEN TIMES better than today.. these kids today who are NOT connected at all with their characters..

it makes me sad. as a kid, I had my parents "set the VCR" to record these classics, because even though i didn't quite understand everything i was seeing ;) i was getting there, and i couldn't stand to miss a THING. it really connected with me as i was growing up. i don't know if "kids today" connect with the crap that is on. i sure don't! no sincerity in the writing or acting! no heart. that's amazing you got some episodes! any posted here? I'd love to see them! :)

That's what you call acting! These two guys were absolutely awesome together. The story was written so well back then. Great writers, great actors. I miss that. Those were the Days. Thankyou.
