  • can it do polyphonic?

  • So it's basically a classic distortion with a bit crusher?

  • wonder how power chords will sound.....

  • Where can I get one

  • 3 words:

    I

    want

    one

  • Do they make this for bass?

  • @HypercamNinja

yep! check out the fx doctor website.

  • @CondorAve Thanks...

  • @HypercamNinja Would probably be a triangle wave.

  • whats the use of this pedal? the off button?.

  • your terrible, but i want one of these

  • I want this!!

  • nostalgiagasm/tonegasm

  • Also, where is the knob set and do you change it during the video? I feel you do, just don't know this pedal so i can't really say. God bless - Nicholas

  • @workshopskater

the knob is set at fullblast (where it sounds best) throughout the whole video. the only thing i change is from neck pickup to bridge pickup and the tone knobs on my sg.

  • Hey man thank you so much for putting up with people & keepin this up! I am very tempted to get this pedal i'm just not sure. How effective is it? DO you find yourself using it often? I feel i almost would get it, play it for a month or so just messing around( like i did the Digitech Whammy pedal) then sell it lol Also does the glitchin & 8bit sounds only occur in the upper registries? How does this pedal handle chords and how does it work with delays and other distortions? God bless! - Nicholas

  • @workshopskater

honestly, i messed around with it for awhile but i couldn't make use of it in my band so i sold it. the glitching and 8bit sounds usually occur towards the end of the note you're holding just as you're releasing it. also messing around with the toggle switch or tone knobs on your guitar can create little spits and spudders..it doesn't sound so great with chords, unless you like a noisy mess of fuzz. it works good with delays but i never tried it with other distortions.

  • Man, don't get this one! Get the MWFX 8Bit, its much less thin and has wicked octave effects.

  • @rufusclownbauer I disagree. The MWFX doesn't sound very synthy and seems more suitable for bass. Maybe the MWFX sounds good with some other pedals attached, but I'm liking the sound of the FX doctor much more.

  • So awesome!

  • that was fun xD

  • Where can i buy this!!!?

  • @mythandtropics

Off the fxdoctor website or possibly ebay.. i'd sell you mine but you live too far. haha

  • @CondorAve kewl im ordering it right now. i'll make some vids when i get it

  • @cylentshadow

awesome, send me the links when you get them uploaded.

  • I like the tone, moreso than the playing technique (no hating, seems improvised, as opposed to something heavily practiced). What kind of guitar do you run this through? Is it better with a humbucker instrument, or can I rock it also with something single coiled?

  • @DeathFromRKelly

Yeah you're right totally improvised.. just goofin' around really.. I was playing an Epiphone SG and went straight into the computer(no amp or mics). I've never tried this pedal with a single coiled so i'm not sure.

  • you play very ugly

  • @javiercriado

    Thank You! :)
