They only performed this on Jools Holland once back when the single first came out, and they played it along with Hyper Music. Jools Holland very rarely has retrospective performances, and Muse have yet to do one.

I will say that their newer stuff is a bit over the top. I don't feel like the use of strings warrants the pretentious accusations. When someone is in a band that has a classical music background, doesn't make sense for them to want to expand their sound with other instruments? Something actually pretentious is Tom DeLonge saying Angels and Airwaves will change the world for example.
