  • @LadyoftheLabyrinth I was wondering if you had read Beowulf & Grendel: The Truth Behind England's Oldest Legend by John Grigsby and what you thought of it.

  • Wonderful video, Maria :D

  • Now,to connect the pazzle you should learn about the illuminati secret society.which used tobe scretely known as ,The Brotherhood of the Snake. This is Something you would never being taught in any university in the world. SURPPRESSED KNOWLEDGE. Thanks to forma members we have the chance to lean about it on line. Alister Crowler/John Todd. Have red "The Beggest Secret,David Icke? How about Ancient extra terrestrials evidence from the summarian the Annunaki. Anything? Thank you Love !

  • @luttimatos Thanks! But I am sufficiently informed about the illuminati/ancient ETs theories that are spread so fervently online, and it is neither an energy,a speculation or a knowledge that I wish to attract into my experience by focusing on it,neither am I needed to add to that mythology.I´m interested in the spiritual and metaphysical messages of ancient myths, that is where I have the knowledge to offer something unique.Hm, serpent is a symbol of wisdom and transformation in most myths.Love:)

  • @LadyoftheLabyrinth :) you do tend to find alot of powertripping on the net, its funny how people seem to think what the know is some secet knowledge, when they have read it in a mass produced book or on wide spread youtube video, half of humanitys prob is its to competitive , we need to share info , not bitch like "i know more than you" ...its not the school yard. Ladyofthelabyrinth ,really enjoy your work.thanks

  • @mowgdog Agreed! Thank you. :)

  • @LadyoftheLabyrinth Excellent !

  • @LadyoftheLabyrinth Hello There. I have a question about Norse mythology i would really like to ask you. Your response would be greatly appreciated :) The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit inevitably led me to Norse Mythology. I love it. But i can't find much on it. I'm in Canada, and Norse mythology is not so mainstream. My question: What should i seek for a good foundation in it? What books, stories, movies? I'm not academically interested, but personally interested. THANK YOU! :)

  • Thank You for these videos very interesting.

  • Your voice is mesmerizing...

  • The tradition that I follow holds that the spirit is related with the masculine & more subtle than the soul related to the woman.

The love making as i take it could also be explained as the ensoulment or the meshing of the soul-spirit into flesh.

A flute or pipe is often symbolic of the spinal column:

    "Song Of The Spine"

    Dr. June Leslie Wieder

    ISBN-13: 978-1594574702

There is a lot more to this, but I just wanted to put that out there for your consideration.

  • You next story on the pipe player, the women, the division into hundreds and coupling with to everyone's delight of the piper to the women who fell in love with him could well be seen in the light you describe, but my take on it would be that the piper can be compared to the Native American Father Sky & the women to mother earth-waves & matter (cymatics) the making love to the waves shaping & molding the matter according to frequency & it also has a fit with "In the beginning was the word..."

  • Your work-your videos are very very good.

You had mentioned the lady with the 5 husbands. In the spiritual tradition that I follow the mind has always been masculine, the sex (organs) have always been feminine-the human body has always been referred to as feminine.

The voice (vocal cords) have always been feminine/female as well

So another way to look at the woman w/5 husbands is the human body & its 5 physical senses-stories can apply to both sex's initiation looking from this angle.

  • MYTH and PARABLE can’t be comparred !!!

Myth- fantasy, Parable- a story teach truth

  • @adrianmolm715 Well the whole point is that I am claiming that myths are in fact parables. You are making a claim that they are not, puttings several "!!!" to prove your point... I am explaining how living, contemporary mythology such as the Indian is in fact understood as parables by Indian mystics. There is no question about that: they do, and so did classical mystery initiates, as they themselves explained. The only thing new here is that I claim that Norse myths can also be read as parables.

  • @LadyoftheLabyrinth So the Myth is just a fancy name for learning fiction story

  • @adrianmolm715 how do you define fiction and fact?

  • @LadyoftheLabyrinth Sure, a parable can teach a fake story. AS IN 1 Timothy 1:3-4

  • @adrianmolm715 what is the difference between myths and religion?.......followers,thats all it is .

  • Norse religion isn't mythology, its probably real, but all these dumb asses just classify old religions as "Myth" It's bullshit in my opinion! Who is to say that a religion is just fake and old legends, theirs just as big a chance that Norse religion is real as Christianity.

  • @Reesel100 Myth comes from the greek "mythos" which now basically means legend. All religions are myths. It's not a bad thing or disrespectful, unless you want it to be.

  • @OoOBlueMoonOoO EVEN atheists/evolutionary

  • @Reesel100 "myth" is the proper term, and should also be applied to the biblical myths. I have never said that mythology or religion is fake, on the contrary I am talking about the deeper spiritual meanings of the myths.

  • in Old Norse? way not call it Scandinavian myths. way do all Norse take all this stuff from Iceland, Sweden or Denmark and call it Norse myth. Ræningjar

  • @mrhardone Why? Because Norse myths is the common term applied to myths written down in the Old Norse language which was a historical language of the Old Norse culture which existed during the Viking Age and Iron Age in Scandinavia. Scandinavian is a much wider term than that.

  • Wonderful. Thank you.

  • Er det ikke Frøya selv som sitter der :O

  • correction typo: if you're looking for secrets study vimanas (and norse god frey's flying sky boat that folds up into his pocket! he is also king of nordic elves!) / @ milwaukee

  • 5-stars!...good job! now go back and study the "vimanas" the flying saucers of the ancient astronauts in the indian myth...if your looking for secrets! (you are so cute to watch...) / @ milwaukee

  • Great vid, I love this stuff :)

  • This video contains some information on the connection between the Norse (indo-europeans) and Indians: watch?v=c6c5oWH6iaU

  • Hi Lady. I know no man will ever have as much understanding of poetry as you do, but we can certainly try. I like every one of your videos. Icelandic message on the way.

    Wassail.

  • Nice vid!

I've always agreed with this thought process as well.

I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts on these matters!

    :)

  • Excellent video. I liked the metaphorical interpretation of the Isis/Osiris myth especially and the integration with the concept of the All Soul.

  • @rsoxfan1123 Thank you! The interpretation is not mine though, it was the way initiates into the Mysteries of Isis perceived this myth, as I remember making notes about when I was studying these things...but I agree, it is a great interpretation! :)

  • Thanks for sharing this, i found it very insightful !

    Bright Blessings )O(

  • Best video I have seen on youtube in a long time. :)
