movie could of been much better, however i think the almighty was meant to portray the ancient atlanteans, rather then the egyptians seeing date being 10,000 b.c no other civilization well, advanced existed around that time seeing atlantis supposedly may have existed 10,000 years prior and what not, not to mention they said their land was 'swallowed up by the sea" suggesting they were the "real" creators of the originals see the connection?

i just watched it, when it starts it seems rubbish like stupidly inaccurate and stuff. but then it gets really good and intense! i love this film now, it was a bit like 300.

This review was stupid. I feel sorry for all those who are too smart for this movie. Yes it has historical inaccuracies. So to do the Bible, the Iliad, the Three Musketeers, and numerous other great works. Sometimes the value of a work is from its mythic qualities rather than for its adherence to fact.

ok its not historically accurate but who cares. they are telling a fiction story that takes place wherever and whenever imagination gets to. how many movies, books, songs have been ridiculous and inaccurate? look those special effects, they're great.

there are many movies that have excellent rating and still are mistaken in lots of aspects. what the hell. try finding more than just bad stuff. if you get to make a movie with as much critics as this one you'll see how difficult is to get there.

Movie sucks. The story is hobbled together a 12 year old could have done better. Ancients with perfect teeth. A girl with heavy mascara. Wolly mammoths in the desert. hahaha the guy crosses many climate zones with little clothing. A tribe of people from different races. The two whitest people are the saviors of all nonwhites. White sphere and girl with blue eyes. Typical Crap. The worst dialogue. The end he kills the king with a sphere says its over. What! If you kill the king it's all out war.

I thought that this film was much better than what the critics were saying about it but This was mainly due to the blind guy that had a really high pitched voice that was just making strange noises. I would say go and watch this film just because its better than most of the other films that are out at the moment.

Good movie...only the idea of the story was "borrowed" and slightly tweaked from the movie Apocalypto. A young man from a smal tribe faces a large, civilized group known as Aztecs. He brought down the empire and even had a large kitty (panther) save his life in the movie (just like the saber tooth). Instead of his wife being taken to be enslaved, his tribe was. I think it was well done, all of it. And, I would prefer it to be in English so I don't have to read subtitles. Subtitles makes you watch the words instead of the actual film.

Great movie. Don't care what anyone says. I don't care if it wasn't realistic OR historically accurate! It was pretty much based off of the tribes and their beliefs. I think it was the best movie I have seen in a long while. Great music!

10,000BC has had a lot of effort put in great effect, very realistic, and thats where it ends, the storyline (the thing that makes or brakes a movie)was very repetitve and boring, the ending was so similar to 300's ending, i think that the movie idead itself, was originalish but the actual move was VERY UNORIGINAL.
