I have to say, out of all harry potter movies, this is the one I like the least. It leaves out a lot and adds things that didn't happen in the book (I mean, what was the point of torching down the burrow?) Still, it wasn't extremely bad, it just wasn't a great adaption of an amazing novel.

@mathias265 - yes you are right..it does not..but IMHO, HBP movie was horribly messed up...since I have read the books I can tell you that they just chose the "easier-to-be-filmed" parts..either the non-stop teenage romance or the juicy special effects parts..This book has the most important links which revealed so much - not just about Tom Riddle but also about Snape..

The movie was such a disappointment for a Potter maniac like me.. :-(

I don't understand why people insist on making them into movies if they don't have the tech to make LINE FOR LINE accurate depictions of everything that happens. If they had cut out that stupid scene in the burrow and the deal with the fish lily gave slughorn they could have stuck more to the book.Also they cut out a lot of the memories,that also is my beef with the order of the phoenix movie,they never showed the full memory of james bulling snape and snape calling lily a mudblood.I know they can only put so much in a 2 1/2 hour movie but they twisted so many plot lines that the movies don't resemble the books in any way.

I was very disappointed in this movie,first off in the book the burrow is protected and if the death eaters could gain access to it why didn't they wait till nightime and just take harry? Third my favorite scene from the book is not in the movie,the scene where harry comes back to the gryffindor common room not knowing if they won the cup.The scene were ginny runs at harry and he kisses her is my favorite of the entire series.also the setup to dumbledor's death is all wrong.To be continued
