Why is it that every emotion, every gesture of gays seems to be an act. Nothing they do seems to have any depth or reality. Its all play acting in front of a mirror. And this is reflected in their ideas...shallow, contrived, phoney...as if they are trying are uncertain of everything...especially who they are.

Shilts mannerisms..they are, well, just like yours. But to everyone else its glaring. I have always been amazed that gays think that they lead "hidden" lives. Everyone knows who they are, and doesnt care. Gays are like watching a junky daytime sit come...bad acting

Just to correct: Uganda has not had a year in which population growth dipped below 3% a year, including during 'the epidemic'.
It is literally impossible for a population to be gripped by a deadly epidemic, and at the same time, have among the highest population growth in the world.

Fortunately, none of the predictions about Uganda Shilts made in his article "Fear of Epidemic In the Mud Huts" (see SFGate, online) have come to pass (see the article in AllAfrica, "Uganda: 'Population Pressure Affecting Aids Fight'").
None of the dire predictions of depopulation in Africa have come to pass. Uganda has a population below 3% per year all during the epidemic to today. Malawi now has come out and has had an average population growth of 2.94% per year for the last 10 years.

Shilts says that being homosexual is genetic. What's the scientific research backing this up? For obvious reasons, homosexuals have a vested interest in this point of view.
