the event was so fun. me and some friends get this infect at the bay and port to shattrath to mess up people. there were overall corpse, till blizz fix this event, caused of complaining from players.

i miss this event! i was only lv26 when it happened and westfall was taken over by the zombies and elwynn forest was getting infected like crazy! was soo much fun:)

@Lonewolfproductions0 The duration of the infection before youturned into a zombie decreased as the expansion neared. When you were a zombie you could throw those gas clouds to stop your health from degenerating. Usually you could remain one until you were killed by players or NPCs.

the zombie invasion event pre-wrath was exploited by jerks who liked making times tougher on others, I was one of the many victims and needless to say, we're much better off with this event gone. it just wasnt fun to always get turned into a zombie when trying to get your quests done.

@RAPTOR948 It wasn't exploited, that was the point. They wanted the invasion to see hopeless and inevitable. It probably also helped sell xpacs.

I thought it was really fun in the begginging but in the end it was so anoying. Like you were on your way to AH to buy like super important raid stuff and then you get infected and die within a minute (thats who fast it whent in the end)

that was a cool event it was me and 2 dwarfs hiding from zombies in the basment at the inn in Old Town in Stormwind it kind of sucked but we halled ass to Ironforge and we were safe there for awhile...anyways it was fun

funny event in the first 5 minutes, but then gets a pain in the ass. wcan't lvl up and deliver quests, can't do dailies and can't do bgs cause NPCs are dead, thank god it ends on monday.
