I think its more business oriented most likely it was intended for only backing stuff up though it would be nice to see a sata connector.

:D lol there cant be SATA and also a eSATA port :P

SATA -is internal eSATA-is external, as the (e) prefers :D

External HDDS only have eSATA which uses SATA technology and SATA cables :D
