  • What are you saying a year old. If you do not know 28 months is over two years old then get your parents permission before posting.

  • IT'S NOT THAT YOU CANT, IT IS THAT YOU SHOULDN'T! ONLY A YEAR OLD? you are SICK

  • Well I think the only reason you were able to "break" him was because he's half-starved.

  • wormy under weight, no muscle tone...if I knew where he was I would take him poor little guy just sad

  • Bull.... you don't have a horse who's hips drop off rafter-like from his spine unless he's pretty under condition. There's a difference in young, gawky and not filled out and downright skinny. This one's downright skinny. Not taking anything away from their 'training', just disagree with their feeding program. Not to mention he may not be near as 'quiet' once he got fat and fit.

  • Everyone chill. They are doing a fine job with this horse. Hes clearly taken care of. My arab was so skinny when she was a baby and now that she's growing up it gets bette rbut she still drops weight randomly and shes 5. it happens to most young horses. expecially if its cold, and it seems as though it is there, judging by the jackets.

  • breaking is a little extreme, cowboy. try training.

he is skinny- but you don't seem to have grass around there and he's still young- so its hard to tell. lots of hay. however, you should consider giving him some grooming time if you plan to try and sell him- he's cute, though.

  • You are losers... This horse should be taken from you both. Get a job pot heads.

  • Your welcome, if I didn't have a horse id take him.

  • Thank you very much. He was posted on here as a way for people to see him because he is for sale.

  • He is cutee. :}]]

  • Hello, I sent you an email through Craigslist. If your horse is still available, please reply to my email. Thanks!

  • Cute horse, but he looks a little skinny?

  • When the Vet was here last week, she said all my horses looked great, but thank you for your concern.

  • He started his ground schooling at 20 months and started under saddle at 25 months. I really hate all of you disbelievers!!!! Just because you do not know how to train a horse does not mean I can't. If you have ever raised a young horse then you would know about how they grow in spurts. They get fat then grow in height and trim down. They repeat this process constantly. He would have already been sold if it were not for "experts" like you telling people that a 28 month old can not be broke.

  • true! ya shud see our 4 year old :| he looks to small for his head still lol!! nd ya seem to be duin a fine job to me :D x

  • @bradfordanderica Its not that *experts* are saying a 28 month old CANT be broke, they are saying they SHOULDNT! That is way to young for a horse to be ridden! they have not properly developed and any weight on their backs this early is putting way to much presser on the joints. And this horse IS under weight. I have a youngster and known many in the past and yes they grow in spurts but never should get to this weight.

  • @bradfordanderica you did great with him!! good job!! :) i bought a wild mustang filly meant for slaughter. everyone said i was pretty stupid even if it was a good cause but within 5 months of owning her i got a saddle on her and i could brush her and all that jazz. by 6 months i could ride her at a walk. i trained her myself too. no horse breaking techniques either! :) so its pretty mmuch the same as you guys! :) he looks great!
