It's a violin/fiddle bow run across the flat side of hand saw. She's holding the saw handle between her knees. The pitch and tone well change based on how much you bend the saw. Fun little toy, my pa use to do that alot, he'd do it with a big double handled/two man saw too.

I just saw them performed in the Esplanade recital studio on 1.6.2008. They were hilarious!Very quirky and unconventional way of show presentation!JJ loves it! They really brought the house down!
