The fact remains that sentient life is unique. And that demeaning someone elses faith is ludicrous when you personally believe in random formations of life. RULE OF LIFE: only life can produce life. Something can't come from nothing. The concept of a supreme ever existent deity is beyond your comprehension. Don't have the audacity to assume your limited intellect can fathom such things.

Fr. Paisios is totally evil. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts, absolutely. He has complete control over the monks. He can do whatever he wants. Once, I had tooth paste on my face because there are no mirrors and Fr. Paisios asked sarcastically if it was sperm! Why would there be sperm on my face?! I had been a novice for about three years at that point. He was just trying to be degrading.
Firstly i do not believe you or anything you say for them.Even so if they were to be as you describe them why did you leave? If you were i monk and suffer for Christ you should stay there and devote yourselfe into changing them. Instead though you came back to this world were everyone is like what you describe. So you left a place with 3 people that were sinners to come to a place with 500000000 sinners.

Monasteries exercise a lot of control. The abbot has a lot of power and noone is checking on him. It's a bit cultish. God allows us free will but at the monastery this is automatically thrown out the window. The surrender has to be complete and this more than obeying rules that a monk/nun has to. There will also probably be some monks and nuns at the monasteries who may be mentally ill, but not seriously so.
This tortured soul was never a true monk at Saint Anthony's Monastery but merely a novice of six months duration. The novice Luke fell into a greatly agitated state, a direct result of attempting, in his zeal, to take on too much, too soon in pure disobedience to the guidance of the elders. This is what resulted in his being asked to leave this monastery. The ramblings of the Homeward Bound Journal entries below are, I suspect, his work as well, a further vain attempt at his justification.
@TheWaywardpilgrim, I'm curious. Did he have a previous psychological condition and supposed to be on medication? Did the monastery have him get off medication? If they did, than you've got a dangerous cult still wallowing in the ignorance of the dark ages.
When you have a particular weakness which is a danger to the very life of the soul, the Master Jesus wants the soul to know about it, so that the soul can take action to correct it. That is, to confront this weakness, and to make a life project of creating a great strength in that area. Then, in the current life, or the next, the soul can build upon that strength.
Second, the release of the power of the divine heart, in Jaspar, exposed this essential truth to Jaspar, that his faith was very weak, in fact his faith was fatally weak. That he did not have a reserve there, that would enable him to stand strong in the face of the devil’s opposition. When that contrary wind blew, it blew him over.
Of course, this indicates that this priest had actually had a track record of being, for some length of time, an instrument of the devil, and that is why the Master Jesus never gave this priest this initiation of the heart. This may well be an example of an embodied fallen angel within the leadership structure of this orthodox monastery, or a very weak Child of God possessed and controlled by a fallen angel from the astral plane.
When confronted with the news of the resurrection of the divine life within the divine heart of Jaspar, the priest could not relate to it, he had no inner experience of such things, he had no personal reference point, and out of pride and jealously, declared the experience to be of the devil.
First, the release of this power of (Jaspar’s) Divine Heart exposed the truth, that the priest placed in charge of the soul of Jaspar, at the monastery, had never met the criteria of devotion and alignment with divine purpose, that would allow the Master Jesus to bring the divine heart back to life within him. That’s right.
And let there be no mistake about this fact. The release of the power of the Divine Heart, Jaspar’s own Divine Heart, within the monatery kitchen, was for an easily discernable PURPOSE.
These conditions and safeguards are established and enforced, because the soul is responsible for any misuse of power. Misuse of power carries with it profoundly negative consequences for the soul. Misuse of power was at the root of the original fall from grace.
This power is only re-activated when the soul has made the effort to move into the framework of divine purpose, and has given the Master evidence that there is some level of commitment in staying to this course. At the time of this experience in the monastery kitchen, Jaspar met this criteria (of both devotion and harmlessness).
The Master Jesus stands guard in this respect, making sure, before any power is released, that there is a very low probability that the power will be misused, and that there is a relatively high probability that the power will be used properly, to fulfill a very specific divine purpose.
Because the issue of the Divine Heart is POWER, that power is not brought back to life at the center of the soul, unless it be within a framework of DIVINE PURPOSE. The issue of concern, from the standpoint of God, is the right-use, or the wrong-use, of power. The power of the divine heart must be used to further divine purpose.
The Divine Heart is all about POWER. (And if Jaspar will look back at his experience in the kitchen, he will find that he has direct personal knowledge of this fact.)
It is essential for the soul to move step by step into the framework of divine purpose, as this is the only framework within which the power of the divine heart can be restored. The reason for this is of a practical nature.
By Divine Law, the Master cannot begin to help the soul who has embedded himself, or herself, in the use of (recreational) drugs. The soul must take steps away from that lifestyle, and start moving back in the direction of the framework of divine purpose.
This is why the use of drugs in any form, i.e. in terms of a pathway to “higher” states of consciousness, is never a part of the spiritual path. The Power of the Divine Heart, when re-established within the life of the soul, transcends all such things. What the soul needs, is for the Master Jesus to come and work with him, or her, to bring this great power center of the Divine Heart to life once again within the temple of the soul.
As Jaspar can attest from his own experience, given in the monastery kitchen, one does not need mushrooms to bring forth the greatest internal power of divine ecstacy. And this is the truth of sonship, where everything the soul needs comes forth in unimaginable abundance, magical, beautiful, blissful, from the center of the Divine Heart. This is exactly where all the power that Jesus has comes from. His access to all-power should be contemplated in this context.
However, since Jaspar was driven away from this essential framework of Divine Purpose, the Master Jesus could no longer work with him to bring forth this Divine Power. To continue the process of working with the Master to bring forward the great treasure of the Divine Heart, Jaspar must return to the framework of Divine Purpose.
The power of the Divine Heart can only come forth within the context of the soul’s intense and sincere devotion to Divine Purpose. We see that Jaspar, at that time in his life, met this criteria, making it possible for the Master Jesus to begin the process of bringing this divine heart back to life within him.
The goal of the Master Jesus is to bring this heart alive once again within the temple of every soul. That is the goal of discipleship. Every soul has such a heart, the power center of God all-encompassing love, but the candle burns dimly, in the background, and behind many veils of neglect. (And behind many veils of rebellion, especially in terms of the people’s addiction to the forces of hatred, an addiction they must break).
In this regard, we must note the central feature of a Child of God, indeed of a Son and Daughter of God, is the presence of the Divine Heart at the center of being. This heart is a center of Divine Power, as Jaspar can attest, and this Divine Power is intended to illuminate the life of the soul constantly. Yes, it is the very Power of the One Most High God, that issues forth from the heart, establishing the forcefield of the Divine Life.
America was designed, by the heavenly host, as a gathering place for those sons and daughters of God who have volunteered over the past several millennia to come into embodiment to assist in the steering of various cultures (across the planet) back in the direction of God. These souls value the principle of liberty above all else. Their goal, if they could only remember it, is to establish a God-Centered Golden Age Civilization, providing an essential example to all other nations.
This explains, in an outline form, why the earth is primarily a big mess. The people, because of their habit patterns of rebellion against God, have made it a big mess.
There are many reasons why the process of re-embodiment is required, but chief among them, is to break up the continuum of rebellion, giving the forces of light an opportunity to redirect a particular culture in the direction of the light, from one generation to the next.
The black souls of these fallen angels, and the vast number of God’s Children they drew into their rebellion, who have stubbornly resisted the redemption process themselves, have found their way from ancient times, to the very present day, through the process of re-embodiment, where every soul is given only a short period of time in a given physical embodiment within a given culture.
However, on every planetary home, the leadership of the prior rebellion established their control systems, as they understood the imperatives of power and control for the survival of their rebellion, and they would oppose every facet of the redemption process. Yes, every electrode of redemption which God and his servants anchored amidst the people, the fallen angels would enter in to corrupt it.
Just as trained doctors are sent into the midst of institutional populations, of insane asylums for example, so too were trained Sons and Daughters of God sent into the midst of the rebellious cultures on these planetary homes to initiate the process by which the loyalty of the soul to God could be resurrected. God our Father loved these souls, as they were his children. He would not abandon them to the vortices of self-destruction.
Long ago, in the midst of the Great Rebellion there came a time when it was decided that the participants therein could not be reasoned with. The physical universe was created at that time as a temporary rehabilitation institution. All participants were transferred to various planetary homes therein, wherein the long and tedious redemption process would begin. This includes the leadership of the rebellion, which is referred to in the Book of Revelation by the name of either serpent or dragon.
These passages in the Book of Revelaton point to the presence of the fallen angels in the earth, and how they continue to make war on the disciples of Christ.
Within this nearly universally polluted and immobilizing doctrinal environment, there is no priest within the organized hierarchical structure of the established churches who will venture an honest opinion on the correct interpretation of the message that was left by the Master Jesus Christ, given to John the Beloved, and recorded in the Book of Revelation, at chapter 12, verses 7 through 17.
For the soul cannot grasp the truth, without first being cleansed of this completely false sense of unworthiness. And the Master cannot deliver this cleansing, without the the soul first accepting the truth, of its innate worthiness before God, as a true child, a true son, a true daughter, infinitely loved.
This rubble is not inert. It forms a heavy, heavy, heavy, weight of unworthiness (before God) within the psychology of every Christian Soul, which fosters the incendiary atmopshere of doubt and disbelief in the presence of the truth. This represents a huge dilemma.
The fallen angels, through this ONLY SON LIE, have destroyed that chalice. As this lie is worshiped, the structure of divine understanding, even the Mind of Christ, which is supposed to be in us, can never rise above a state of rubble.
This basic and fundamental fact, that we are all sons and daughters of God, is the primary structure of belief that forms the chalice for all things related to God. The Kingdom of God, on earth, as it is in heaven, can be made up only of the Children of God, and the Children of God, are by definition the sons and daughters of God.
Why has this prayer not been answered? Because there is no chalice to pour the answer into. It is that simple. There is no chalice into which the answer can be poured.
Where, I ask you, are the results of this prayer made manifest in the earth, most specifically within human affairs? No where. Even though this prayer is prayed by hundreds of millions of Christians on every Sunday, and this for centuries, the prayer has not been answered. Why?
The Master Jesus taught only one prayer to his disciples. He taught us to pray, “Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by THY name .... Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven."
It is an unchallengeable fact, that ever since this cup of poison was placed at the center of Christian Doctrine, the people have been programmed to worship it generation unto generation.
This is the central core of rottenness which the fallen angels have placed at the center of Christian Theology. This Only Son Lie. Of course, they did this many centuries ago. But the fallen angels are constantly working to shore up the centrality of this lie within the body of Christian Doctrine, year by year.
And thus, the soul of every priest is left to shrivel up and die on the stem, even as they are moved by unseen forces to brew up great batches of sweet lemonade laced with this doctrinal cyanide, which they ladle, and with great shows of piety, into the outstretched cups of the thirsty parisioners every sunday, indeed, even in the time honored tradition of Jim Jones.
This is like saying to every rose bud, that Jesus Christ is the only rose bud that has ever blossomed, or will ever blossom, or was ever designed by God to blossom ...
As one widespread illustration of the corruption that the fallen angels have impressed upon the Christian Doctrine, we have today, in a nearly universal manner, the leadership of all organized branches of Christianity, Orthodox, Protestant, Roman Catholic, and so forth, actively engaged in programming the minds of all parishioners, with this LIE, that Jesus Christ is the ONLY Son of God.

Here is a soul (Jaspar) that was tapped on the shoulder (of the heart) by the Master Jesus Christ (in the monastery kitchen) as the first step in the process of fulfilling the promise recorded in John 14:12, and the forces of hell leaped into action, making every possible effort to destroy him. Their level of success in this regard is striking. But they are masters of the art of soul destruction. This they have been doing for centuries.
The fact that we are looking at a desert in this respect, is evidence of the thoroughness of the efforts of the fallen angels (over the centuries) to make key teachings of Jesus Christ, into dead letters, and to substitute for the gold of truth, the falsehoods of fool’s gold.
Certainly, when the Master Jesus made that promise, he envisioned a veritable Garden of Eden on earth, in terms of the divine accomplishments of his disciples. Instead, we have a parched and dry desert.
I ask you, where is there any evidence that anyone within the Christian Tradition has been able to grasp the belief structure to which the Master refers, and thus, enabling that seeker to fulfill the promise of the Master, to do the works that he did, and more? I don’t have to tell you, that we are looking at a desert in this respect.
Read the promise of the Master Jesus Christ, in the Book of John 14:12, where he says, “Verily Verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do, shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.”
The degree to which the fallen angels have succeeded in placing the vehicle of the original teaching of Jesus Christ up on blocks, and in a closed garage - - - allowing the engine to be revved up now and then, and the chrome on the wheels to spin and glitter in the candle light, but never to allow the rubber of the tires to contact the road of progress and achievement - - - can be easily discerned.
And to the extent to which they have used their positions of power to twist fundamental truths all out of shape, and even to weave outright lies into the original teachings. making of the spiritual path - - - which is supposed to lead the soul into the arms of God - - - into a maze of contradictions which has the Children of God milling around in state of confusion way down there on the valley floor.
Most people are not aware of the extent to which the fallen angels have infiltrated the established religions over the centuries, and to what extent they have succeeded in rising into positions of power behind very convincing masks of piety.
Your faith was not strong enough to stand up against the forces that rose up against the Light of the Master which appeared in your heart. Yes, the forces of darkness were intent on snuffing that light out. And so far, they have succeeded. However, you can go back and pick up that lantern, and understanding the test, you can have a second go at passing it. Though, you have a lot of excess baggage to throw overboard on your way back to that particular battlefield.
Thus, you can see how important the quality of faith is. To meet the challenge, you would need a strong faith in your own sense of what the truth was inside of you. You needed a strong faith in the origin of the kitchen experience, that is God, and the Master Jesus working together, to bless you mightily. And you needed a strong faith in the integrity of the Master to back you up as you stood up for the truth he gave to you personally.
Your challenge was to stand up for what you knew to be the truth at the time, even if that meant to seek second opinions all the way up the leadership ladder, until you could find one person that could recognize a real spiritual experience. The Master Jesus would have supported you in this righteous quest for the sovereignty of truth.
For fallen angels have penetrated into all levels of leadership in the organized churches, and they use their positions of power to cut off the appearance of the light of Jesus Christ within the church.
Luke 24:32 - “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”
In regards to receiving the gift of healing from the Master Jesus, I believe it is important to recognize the functional nature of the principle which the Master articulated so many times, when he said, “Go in peace, your FAITH has made you whole.” Your FAITH.
And so, your fall has actually provided a path back into the grace of the Master as you find the spirit of humility and repentance in your heart that will allow you to ask for the healing that you so much desire, and which God your Father and Mother would certainly desire for you to receive.
The fifth point that needs to be made, regards the wisdom associated with the fate that has fallen on you. What you are in need of now is HEALING, and how much you must thirst after that healing. Yes, how much you must THIRST after that healing. And who has the power of healing in his hands? Is it Mr. Mushroom? or is it the Master Jesus Christ? I think even you can answer that question.
The fourth point that needs to be made, is that you came into embodiment in this life to walk a spiritual path, and got woefully sidetracked. And of course, your fate serves as a warning sign for others, that if you choose the path of mushrooms, there will be no Holy Angel around when you need one, in other words, when your karma falls on you, there will be no mitigation. Nevertheless, as it is written, God chastens those whom He loves. You still have life, and you still have opportunity.
The third point that needs to be made, is simply to observe what level of pride you must have, to dig in your heels and turn your back on the message contained in this life-threatening catastrophe that fell upon you. You fell out of the tree of life! How much simpler could it be, and broke your back, your will, your determination, to stand guard over the integrity of your own path.
The possessing entities use the mushroom modality to steal the light of the chakras (spiritual power centers). In this regard, these entities are like astral leeches, that only the Holy Angels can pry off, and they can only do that after the prolonged and fervent prayer of the one possessed.
The second point that needs to be made, in relationship to hearing voices in his head, indicates that the mushroom modality is used by astral entities to possess the temple of the child, and once that happens, there is really no talking sense to such a person, as the possessing entities will rebel against any degree of wisdom.
The first point that needs to made regarding this new information, in relationship to hearing mushroom related voices in his head, is that this is not a great selling point for the ingestion of psychedelic mushrooms (Thank God) nor it is a great marketing point for the belief that Jesus has any connection to the experiences one has while under the influence thereof.
After some additional research into the background of this Child of God, who hears voices in his head, and admits to liking those voices more than those of real people, and who, during an excursion to Hawaii in July of 2007, fell out of a coconut tree, about 50 feet it looks to be, falling on his back, becoming paralyzed from the waist down, meaning that his feet, legs, and other items will not work for him any more, and that he must live his life in a wheel chair ....
oh, sun, don't do that.. leave us all in peace.. there war so many along the centuries who tried to deny God and Christ and thy desapeared as they apeared.. the first one was satan, the father of these moovement.. he didn't succide.. you will end up suffering, the end for that is untold pain..so think twice , is these who you really want to be? cause if you want to find the truuth the humble way is the one that will set you free.. tonight! now!
Perhaps this challenge was given to your soul just for that purpose, to bring you out of an entrenched reliance (garnered over many lifetimes) on an organizational structure to keep your devotional life on track. That now is the time for your soul to prove it can maintain that devotional track without the support structure of a monastery. Yes, the experience threw you for a loop. But follow the loop back around to the devotional regime that you know produced real results for you.
And so, reflecting on the path that led you to receive such a beautiful gift from the Master, I wonder why you didn't see the obvious, that this was the true path for your soul, and that the way into a deeper experience of that, would have been to keep up with the devotional life that led you into that experience of the inner light. You could have done that without the other priests, and perhaps that was the challenge your soul needed to face.
Another Reality Check to consider, is the fact that the goal of the Master Jesus Christ is to lead the soul into a state of reverence before God. I think your experience in the monastery kitchen would have led your mind and soul in that direction. But look what mushrooms have done to your capacity to be reverent. Consider the music you chose to end the video. It tramples all over the quality of reverence and beauty. The mushroom mind proves itself to be the antithesis of the Christ mind.
It seems to me, from what you said, that you made a tremendous effort to adhere to the program, and it sounds like your soul enjoyed it. And it sounds like the Master Jesus gave you a reward for your devotional constancy. Again, I don't know what you could've done faced with such a shocking judgment from your superior, but I just think that it sounds like you were on the right track right up to that point. Somehow, you need to retrace your steps. Chemical induced euphoria is not the way.
Isn't it true, that no matter what kind of things you experience under the influence of mushrooms, that you've NEVER had an experience equivalent to the (genuine) experience of the heart which you were given in the monastery kitchen? And that should be evidence enough that you've allowed yourself - as the result of a tremendous shock to your faith - to fall away from the truth? I'm not sure what you could've done at the time. But it sounds like you were on the right path at the time.
The bible clearly indicates that a teacher, another person can cause the shipwrecking of anothers faith. Repeatedly Christ and saints have warned this. And sitting here takking about the devil deluding him, he nearly deluded CHRIST! !!! You act like it's an easily preventable thing, how stupid of him right? Read the story of the monk who got to the last step and bragged he had beaten the devil and was then cast down.
Any one person who doesn't understand this man could have said simple kind and compassionate words, even just regular common decency. I really have no desire to argue or converse with anybody about this matter but think about these things, some of them just may be correct. Were all flawed but disguising cutting someone down with religious advice is pretty low. The fact that he even went to live there should ve evidence enough of his sincerity and dedication, perhaps HE was failed along the way.
So much "evil" and an entire stew of negative human traits, beliefs and mindsets disguised as and hidden behind religious words. A compassionate human being might have said "Ive never walked in your shoes so I don't know what you've been through, how are you doing now?...perhaps you were psychologically abused by an erring priest, monk or abbot?...I applaud your efforts at living the most difficult lifestyle possible....."
And none of them ever went so far as to attempt the monastic life as actually living it at a monastery....how can they even comment on it? Try literally leaving everything you have and following the 20 hour work day at st anthonys, I bet 98% wouldn't last 2 weeks. In fact Fr. Philotheos said so.
And the comments about not trusting your thoughts and forsaking logic, wow. How exactly did they come to the conclusion that thus is correct? Using their logical thought to denounce logical thought....useless advice. " Trust not in your own understanding.... So listen to the way I understand things are.."
Just reading all the comments from so called Christians has brought back that old pain in my heart. So full of self righteousness, condemnation, so judgemental and hypocritical. There's almost a sense of glee if some were to be able to watch you roast in hell, picturing themselves standing next to Jesus of course. And the instructional comments, full of confusion and pat answers after catching a few words in a few minutes about somebody elses life.
You are out of the monastery for a reason. Obviously not the reason you think. Too bad for you that you took it as a rejection. Too bad that your mind was so Earthly. Paradise can be reached in and out of the monastery. You couldn't reach Paradise inside the monastery.God bless you all.

i am an Orthodox Christian myself. i have sought advice from many priests, UNWORTHY AND Delusional who can and have driven people insane with their nonsense. Alas, i have found 1 monk in the holy mount ATHOS who is a true HUMBLE follower of our Jesus Christ. As a monk himself in Mount Athos he told me that Confessing every though, doesn't mean EVERY thought. it means "every thought that stands in the way of your spiritual progress, like thoughts of lust for example or thoughts of Selfishness".
That is why Father Paisios, not the Arizona one, but the one in Mount Athos, said that there are 50 Saints living in Mount Athos, before he died. The rest of the monks there, THINK they are monks, but they are no such thing.They are deluding themselves, by thinking that God is Law. Monasteries exercise a lot of control. The abbot has a lot of power and noone is checking on him. It's a bit cultish. God allows us free will but at the monastery this is automatically thrown out the window. The surrender has to be complete and this more than obeying rules that a monk/nun has to. There will also probably be some monks and nuns at the monasteries who may be mentally ill, but not seriously so.

This tortured soul was never a true monk at Saint Anthony's Monastery but merely a novice of six months duration. The novice Luke fell into a greatly agitated state, a direct result of attempting, in his zeal, to take on too much, too soon in pure disobedience to the guidance of the elders. This is what resulted in his being asked to leave this monastery. When you have a particular weakness which is a danger to the very life of the soul, the Master Jesus wants the soul to know about it, so that the soul can take action to correct it. That is, to confront this weakness, and to make a life project of creating a great strength in that area. Then, in the current life, or the next, the soul can build upon that strength.

The fifth point that needs to be made, regards the wisdom associated with the fate that has fallen on you. What you are in need of now is HEALING, and how much you must thirst after that healing. Yes, how much you must THIRST after that healing. And who has the power of healing in his hands? Is it Mr. Mushroom? or is it the Master Jesus Christ? I think even you can answer that question.

The fourth point that needs to be made, is that you came into embodiment in this life to walk a spiritual path, and got woefully sidetracked. And of course, your fate serves as a warning sign for others, that if you choose the path of mushrooms, there will be no Holy Angel around when you need one, in other words, when your karma falls on you, there will be no mitigation. Nevertheless, as it is written, God chastens those whom He loves. You still have life, and you still have opportunity.

Perhaps this challenge was given to your soul just for that purpose, to bring you out of an entrenched reliance (garnered over many lifetimes) on an organizational structure to keep your devotional life on track. That now is the time for your soul to prove it can maintain that devotional track without the support structure of a monastery. Yes, the experience threw you for a loop. But follow the loop back around to the devotional regime that you know produced real results for you.

And so, reflecting on the path that led you to receive such a beautiful gift from the Master, I wonder why you didn't see the obvious, that this was the true path for your soul, and that the way into a deeper experience of that, would have been to keep up with the devotional life that led you into that experience of the inner light. You could have done that without the other priests, and perhaps that was the challenge your soul needed to face.

Another Reality Check to consider, is the fact that the goal of the Master Jesus Christ is to lead the soul into a state of reverence before God. I think your experience in the monastery kitchen would have led your mind and soul in that direction. But look what mushrooms have done to your capacity to be reverent. It seems to me, from what you said, that you made a tremendous effort to adhere to the program, and it sounds like your soul enjoyed it. And it sounds like the Master Jesus gave you a reward for your devotional constancy. Again, I don't know what you could've done faced with such a shocking judgment from your superior, but I just think that it sounds like you were on the right track right up to that point. Somehow, you need to retrace your steps. Chemical induced euphoria is not the way.

Isn't it true, that no matter what kind of things you experience under the influence of mushrooms, that you've NEVER had an experience equivalent to the (genuine) experience of the heart which you were given in the monastery kitchen? And that should be evidence enough that you've allowed yourself - as the result of a tremendous shock to your faith - to fall away from the truth? I'm not sure what you could've done at the time. But it sounds like you were on the right path at the time.

The bible clearly indicates that a teacher, another person can cause the shipwrecking of anothers faith. Repeatedly Christ and saints have warned this. Any one person who doesn't understand this man could have said simple kind and compassionate words, even just regular common decency. I really have no desire to argue or converse with anybody about this matter but think about these things, some of them just may be correct. Were all flawed but disguising cutting someone down with religious advice is pretty low. The fact that he even went to live there should ve evidence enough of his sincerity and dedication, perhaps HE was failed along the way.

Just reading all the comments from so called Christians has brought back that old pain in my heart. So full of self righteousness, condemnation, so judgemental and hypocritical. There's almost a sense of glee if some were to be able to watch you roast in hell, picturing themselves standing next to Jesus of course. And the instructional comments, full of confusion and pat answers after catching a few words in a few minutes about somebody elses life.

i am an Orthodox Christian myself. i have sought advice from many priests, UNWORTHY AND Delusional who can and have driven people insane with their nonsense. Alas, i have found 1 monk in the holy mount ATHOS who is a true HUMBLE follower of our Jesus Christ. As a monk himself in Mount Athos he told me that Confessing every though, doesn't mean EVERY thought. it means "every thought that stands in the way of your spiritual progress, like thoughts of lust for example or thoughts of Selfishness".

That is why Father Paisios, not the Arizona one, but the one in Mount Athos, said that there are 50 Saints living in Mount Athos, before he died. The rest of the monks there, THINK they are monks, but they are no such thing.They are deluding themselves, by thinking that God is Law. God is one thing, and one thing only, and that is LOVE. his laws must be held through love, otherwise they are obsolete. Sadly, this is what happens when a person misinterprets the word of God. i am not only talking about this person. i am talking about many monks who just follow "the laws". Read the bible, read Christ's own words. "The law of God isn't carved on Stone, but in your hearts". ANY PERSON, INCLUDING MONKS, WHO FOLLOW GOD THROUGH LOGIC AND LAWS IS BOUND TO FAIL. Why did you give up your monastic fight so easily? If you decided to entrust yourself to your elder, then you should have believed that your thoughts were delusional and try to fight against them with the Jesus prayer. A reluctance to obey the elders, genuinely and wholeheartedly, may have lead them to believe that they can't help you progress spiritually because they can only and only help you if you are truly obedient to what they say.
