  • wow

    !

  • you check out benny lewis also for language learning. im watching this and reminds me when i first started speaking spanish. i was nervous n sweating and somtimes got rubbed the wrong way. just keep talking first and you will be fluent!!

  • I would love to watch this video, but I am in India with only my iPad and Youtube claims that the author has banned viewing on iPads :-(

  • @FluentCzech

I have rectified the situation. You may now watch the video on iPad, etc.

  • awesome. it takes courage! keep up the study. putonghua is very difficult xixi

    zai jian :)

  • 2000+ hour ! amazing..

  • the beginning was really painful to watch. i laughed so hard, i had to stop the video. i would have freaked if i was in your shoes. i study language for etymology, mostly. i love seeing people like you working so diligently to grow as a person. maybe i'll try to pick up a new language now!

  • 很 好! 我覺得一位學習外文的人可能可以早一點開始練習說那門語言。可能去華人區練習也是個好主意

  • keith i dont know you i found this video randomly but i admire your courage..hearing this language made my head hurt..i dont even want to imagine how hard you worked to get to this level. you are amazing sir and you have inspired me to work really really hard for my polish (even though this video has nothing to do with polish)

  • Good Stuff Keith, keep it up.

  • Your willpower is amazing. You say that your TV method is the lazy way, but I do not think so. In the long run I think you will learn to speak faster and better than other people. I have two questions:

1-How are you going to learn Mandarin as of now?

2-Why didn't you stick to the 800 hours ALG recommendation? Do you really think it was important to wait so many hours?

Keep doing. You are the man.

  • Zero comprehension on my side, but I love how you say あの when you're searching for a word. I do the same when I try to speak Korean, which apparently sounds weird as hell ("He's pretty good, but he shouldn't say 'ano' all the time.")

  • respect for doing this keith. im trying to learn japanese so i have no idea what you guys are saying. but its giving me some perspective on how much i must know in japanese now. im gonna head back to your convo with steve from linq now ;)

  • Looking good Keith. I'm starting to study Chinese too, even though my Japanese still leave much to be desired. You are awesome!!!
