  • Totally destroyed the current world club champions..and ended up club champions of the world too..

  • BELGRADE BHOYS CSC

    CCCC

    <3

  • Viva Celtic!

  • Jestem harcorem

  • Inter was tired and fatigued at the end of that season (and at the end of the Helenio and A.Moratti winning legendary cycle),played the final without 2 of the best players of that time (Suarez, the best spanish player of all the time, and Jair)...btw kudos to Celtic anyway.

  • Thank you for these beautiful images of this match I saw live from Milan when I was 8.

  • the new stars often directly beat the old ones/

Inter trashed the old Real madrid side, 1964

Celtic trashed the old Inter side, 1967

Feyenoord then beat Celtic in 1970

Milan blew Barcelona away in 1994

but then Ajax beat Milan in 1995

  • Stein took a team who winning nothing and within 2 years champions of europe and all born within 30miles of glasgow.you just couldn't do that now.a one off team who all played for each other and where the greatest scottish team ever!!!

  • Weakest penalty ever, Celtic should have won 3 or 4 nil.

  • Catenaccio fail big time 2-1 going on 5

  • We won the big cup and we brought it back!!first British team to do it as well!! God bless the 'Lisbon Lions'

  • Inter were poor and Celtic were outstanding...but the most one-sided final has to be Milan-Barcelona in 94

  • who's rewriting history? just stating a fact, Suarez was Inter's playmaker and at the time one of the best players in the world...he was a massive loss for Inter

  • @hugodrax71 Regardless it is the most one sided European final of all time and the scoreline is grossly unfair.

  • @hugodrax71 i dont think any team in the world could have beaten celtic that day and IF that celtic team was the team now they would still win the CL

  • @tony671 LOL BUT WE DID INVENT TOTAL FOOTBALL THE THE DUTCH SAW THIS AND BEAT US AT OUR OWN GAME IN 1970 BUT THE GAME IN THE 78 WORLD CUP WAS A CLASSIC 3-2 WIN FOR SCOTLAND HOLLAND LOST THEY'RE 2ND WORLD FINAL BUT GEMMILLS GOAL TO MAKE IT 3-1 WASN'T ENOUGH OUT AGAIN

  • Catenaccio 4 life

  • is there enebody got the full game in colour

  • take nothing away from Celtic but Inter were without two of their most influential players that evening - Jair and Suarez. Both were vital to the way Inter played

  • @hugodrax71 ...and Celtic were without their top scorer, Joe McBride who had scored 35 goals before Christmas but was injured and despite sitting the rest of the season out, was Scotland's top scorer. John Hughes was also a prolific scorer who had to sit the game out, as did Charlie Gallagher and Willie O'Neill ....all 4 could have slotted right into that final team. So lets not re-write history where the poor little Italians had all the bad luck and selection problems.

  • i never saw a free kick in the penalty box

    3:22

  • Grande celtic, é a minha equipa favorita, atrás do Benfica!

Força Celtic e Benfica ;) um dia vamos conquistar a Europa de novo !!!

  • I have to say that this was one of the finest sporting advents that I still have ever seen. Amazing, from start to finish.

  • this was the game that proved emphatically catenaccio could be beaten!

  • Giuliano Sarti is God

  • questa partita sembra che l'inter non l'abbia proprio giocata, erano molto lenti...o loro troppo veloci.

  • @W10SNEIJDER10W Che schifo!!!...doveva finire 6 a 0 per il Celtic.

    Peccato perderla così

  • Inter missed his leader, Luisito Suarez.

  • Una bella partita.

  • Pure joy

  • Inter were out classed and out played by Celtic in that final

  • The dream lives on! I will never get enough of this.
