The only out of the box way is through the Zune Player Software. However there is mods for other ways of adding music. They aren't supported by Microsoft however.

very well said man,now i'm reaaly convinced to own one zune 80,i'm not really an ipod freak but truly its a good mp3,mp4,storage/player ipods earphones not really that good sounding no offense

wassup with people complaining about the size of the zune80? I like the bulkiness, sometimes these devices are so freaking small you can hardly ever find them. Plus, its beautiful.

It's the same size as the iPod classic. Kind of retarded to compare it to the Nano.. He should compare the Zune 4/8 with the Nano, not the 80.

IMO iPod Nano > 4/8gb Zune but Zune 80 > iPod Classic

I have few Ipods including the Classic (160 GB) but i just went on ebay and bought this Zune. I must admit Zune is a must have mp3 player (even though for my case i have music library reaching more than 80GB)...

I have a question for you on sharing music...

you have 3 days to decide if you want to buy the song someone shared with you, but what if it's a home produced MP3 or one that is free for distribution? Also, can you only share music, or can you share pics and video?

When the touch pad is off or on, you have to always click to select. You simply click the center of the dial.
