What a lovely baby. Mine gets that lovely shine and clouding too when he sheds, I find few snakes look just as amazing during this phase as they are normally.

That duh, pretty rainbow duh color you are referring to is actually called an iridescent sheen which is caused by the light that you have shining down on the Brazilian while you are making this video which is being reflected off of it's scales which cause it to have this color. So technically it's not really that color at all. I was simply stating that the real colors of this animal are dull and more like its simpler cousin from colombia. (It might as well be.) I bet you feed her live prey too.

Its a Colobian rainbow boa. The ones from Brazil are more red and orange.
