Wonderful video! The only omission is LBJ, who actually signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Although JFK promoted civil rights in his speeches, he dragged his feet on the issue and did nothing in the first two years of his administration. He was assassinated while the Civil Rights act was being debated in Congress. LBJ, a white man from segregated Texas, signed these two laws at great political cost to himself, which reveals his courage and conviction.

I am only 23 yrs old and actually believed i would NEVER see this day when everyone no matter the reason would came together and vote in President Obama =) I know he can do it, he can get this country back together i believe in him, i will just keep praying b/c the closer we get to jan. 20 the more anxious i get of the evil hateful pple out there...God will protect him though.

President-elect Obama is not going to be a "perfect" president. However, none of them have been but I think we've seen the worst. to me, he represents hope and great possibility for human kind. Wonderful video! The only omission is LBJ, who actually signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Although JFK promoted civil rights in his speeches, he dragged his feet on the issue and did nothing in the first two years of his administration. He was assassinated while the Civil Rights act was being debated in Congress. LBJ, a white man from segregated Texas, signed these two laws at great political cost to himself, which reveals his courage and conviction.

This totally sent chills through me. I found it to be extremely touching with a bittersweet ending. The end is the profound campaign he has endured and me not being able to hear this man speak on a daily basis anymore. The pictures were WONDERFUL. Such a strong message of family, strength and love.
