How to Build a Snow Cave

We did sleep over. There were three of us and it was warm in their. It was about 40 degrees.

Thanks for the suggestion. We are going again this year. With over 10 feet of accumulated snow this year, we should have plenty of places to dig a great snow cave.

A little recommendation though, I usually use a wood saw or something in order to cut the snow a little easier. That might make it go faster.

how much snow was there on flat land because we just got a foot and i wanna nkow if it is enough

You will need a lot more snow than one foot. If you are not in the mountains (we had about 6 feet). You can make a snow pile and then dig into it. There are some YouTube videos that show how to do that.

i know my dad plowed the driveway so there was a large pile of snow i dug into and i just fiished after i posted the first comment

how long did it take you?

With the guy on the video digging and me removing the snow from the mouth of the cave it took about 2 hours. This cave slept three people very comfortably.
