Anyone else feel that this boss was kinda out of place? Yeah, there was a lot of build up and you fought miniature versions of the wolf before but it just seemed off to me to have Leon there to "test" you.

because viktor have 2 slots for his Rune, i usually place Fury rune combined with Double beat rune

Humprey has a biggest damage in this game i think

Front line: Oulan (Fury rune/Attack), Hero (Cure/Attack), Shiro (best character, a killer machine with Double beat/Fury rune!) to the front line.

Back line: Elie (Attack/ Thunder rune), Luc (Cyclone rune/Blue Gate rune), Rina (Rage rune/Mother Earth rune).

Easy enough, about 10 minutes or something, but this theme...is simply amazing!

@ongaudrey Forgiven Sign is very useful in the final battle especially when your party isn't damaged. Just don't use it on the Right Head or Left Leg as it resists Bright Shield Rune's attacking spells.

@ongaudrey Forgiver Sign's Base Damage = 2000 - Total HP healed from your party. Given a decent magic stat it can go beyond 2000. Personally, I use the spell on the Beast Rune's Rune as this and Thor would kill it in one turn by using only two characters which is essential in 1-turn Boss Killing Strategies.

Killey has double strike, fury, and double-beat. Riou, McDohl, and Sheena all have double-beat and fury runes attached to them as well. Sheena, Riou and Killey have Exertion runes on them and McDohl has the Friendship rune. My team is level 65, and is capable of taking out the Beast Rune in two turns, which is pretty good for the level my party is in.

I challenged myself using all the mages here! Mazus, Luc and Rina equipped with the higher elemental runes Rage, Thunder, and Cyclone. I equipped Mother Earth to Riou, very stong when he uses Earthquake at 800 damage. Made my party stronger with Flick (which is also awesome w/ Thunder and Physical Damage) and of course my 'ol friend McDohl! Very epic... I always go try and kill the rune first as it revives the other body parts! XD

the cheapest one i can find around here cost abot $130 but that's about average for a legendary game like this well atleast around here anyway i know one store that has a copy right now or did about 3 months ago that was selling it sealed at $300 and have heard a rumor someone bought an unsealed copy for about 5 grand anyway you slice it this was and still is a very popular game and in my opinion better than the final fantasy series not to take anything away from that title of ofcourse

I killed this boss on my 8th try. I used the team of Zamza, Riou, Hauser, Oulan, Bob and Luc. Kicked his ass once I knew what to do. Seriously, I had a kick ass strategy. BTW, killing the RUNE is priority, It has a strong attack, and all the other parts get an INSANE defense boost if it stays alive.

I personally enjoyed lucas demise, it was seperate from the other hashed rpgs we see most of the time, where you fight the same villain, whom escapes from you defeating, multiple times until the final fight where they transform into some angel with a choir singing in latin.

Now I'll say that the ending was quite anti climatic for me... and felt the beast rune was not properly implemented. Now if they had fought jowy,which released the beast runes seal
