The Pumpkins, such a great band. But after Jimmy died they slowly fell apart. Just wasn't the same. Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie was definitely their prime. How did he write all that music? Just a genius.

I love smashing pumpkins, and they as a band did a great job, i just thought Billy kind of screwed up the vocals. Now I don't think he sucks at singing, it's just I feel like he didn't even try.

I feel Billy's voice is incredible, I couldnt imagine anyone else singing Smashing Pumpkins songs. He has a unique voice with passion. To ever say he doesnt try is an insult ;). Has to be one of my favorite musicians, both lyrically, musically and singing ability. I suppose thats Billy's style, perhaps hes that comfortable with his songs that he seems calm and uninterested. I dont think anyone could sing them with this charisma.

Billy Corgan siempre me ha parecido un personaje muy peculiar, es muy buen musico por una razón: Sabe exteriorizar, sabe expresar con su musica, es un buen interprétete, con una clara mentalidad artista y como consecuencia, en la vida real, seguramente un escéntrico.

Has anyone thought, and i may be going out on a limb here, but maybe just maybe The Smashing Pumpkins could be considered the Pink Floyd of our generation? I mean when pink floyd came around the air waves were dominated my pop rock. They had a dark mystic dreamy style of music with hints of pop. They came out and captured the minds of true music lovers. The pumpkins did the same but stood up against grunge. But like i said I could be going out on a limb here.
