Idk why Ulquiorra vs Ichigo was brought up, and I won't go back to read the comments, but also the reason I personally dislike this fight is because simply, people use it, way, too, much, but I'll also put an opinion about Ulquiorra vs Ichigo, Ichigo got his ass beat pretty much the whole fight, then his hollow came out and just totally God Moded Ulquiorra, it wasn't really a FIGHT but a one sided duel that took a turn. One of the most overrated fights in anime history. Pretty nicely animated, but I would rank several of your 10th to 20th place picks higher than this one. Even Comopared to the fight against Kenpachi, the fight against Byakuya, this fight just lacks the poignancy of those fights and compensates by making it into a DBZ style spectacle. Not to mention this video was posted less than two months after these episodes aired, so the boner everybody popped at seeing it hadn't wilted yet at the time...

Why is this fight here..? Out of context, all these fights might look good where they are, disputably.. but.
The one you put at 12, Ryouho and Kazuma, given the context of the series, is more compelling to watch, and the final scene reveals that once they wake up, they go at it again, and keep going at it for about three years.
The fight goes from their basic powers, to their stronger powers, to ultimate, then to nothing, the two are such rivals they'll fight as normal people to win.
One of my most favorite fights in anime was the battle between Goku and Frieza in DBZ .....it was also one of the longest fights too, lasting several episodes. DBZ has a huge influence over the animes we watch today.
I can think of more fights better than this one. Dont get wrong. Bleach is one of my favorite animes but isnt the best anime. Dragonball Z, Yuyu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and others were among the best, but thats my opinion.

Best fight i saw in anime is the fight of Sasori Vs Sakura & Shioba in Naruto Shippuuden ... Also the fights between Deidra & Gaara, Deidra & Sasuke, Sasuke & Itachi, Shikamru & Inoue & Chogi & kakashi Vs Kakuzu & Hiddan, these fights are unforgettable... all shippuuden fights till now are unbelievable... Also, there are the fights in Yu Yu Hakusho, especially the fight between Yurimashi & Sansui & Yurimashi vs Yummy.... So sorry to say that bleach fights & techniques are so poor in comparison
in the other few mins ichigo becomes a full hollow and kicks ulquiorra's ass.. that fight was totally unbalanced... Ichigo vs grimmjow was the real badass fight because it was fast paced and was balanced properly.(My opinion)

@Toonike94 Ichigo vs ulquiorra isn't a "real" fight. The first fight ulquiorra didnt even break a sweat defeating ichigo, ichigo was out his league. The recent fight is was the same thing, Ichigo died but somehow resurrected into full hallow and killed ulquiorra like nothing.
Overall, the fights against ichigo and ulquiorra suck. People just like it cause of ulquiorra 2nd form.
@Toonike94 How can you call it a fight, in both the fight they fought, Ichigo was no where near killing him, it just show him getting beat up by Ulquiorra for 1-2 episode straight. But somehow in the second fight he (ichigo) resurrected (pretty gay) and killed him. Of course the fan boy/girl like him, he got the slanted hair, emo look. which somehow made him one of the most popular character in the anime.

I havent seen yuyu hakusho nor cowboy bebop and no offense but, putting aside all the story-related events in each anime, just by watching yuyu hakusho's and cowboy bebop's battles through this top 20, I was more amazed with cowboy bebop than yuyu hakusho. (and even more amazed with samurai champloo)

the fillers do not conect with the original story, the bount, amagai and zampakuto are a totally diferent thing from the series, its just to await for the manga release of the chapters

The Broly fight just ended in a big "FUCK YOU!" to the entire DBZ community. They can't barely touch him, but suddenly Goku punches him in the stomach and it kills Broly. No Ki blast, no Kamehameha, no Spirit Bomb, a gut check...

Bleach was overrated. Baki the Grappler was badass when it came to fighting. Pretty decent story for being cliche as hell but everyone knows they want to see Baki beat the shit out of his dad. You should watch it for good fight scenes.
I like bleach and one piece but their fights have way too many pauses for talks and explanations of what they are about to do. Naruto has alot of the same, but the original fight between naruto and sasuke when he was leaving the village, straight up action and it was amazingly animated. I would say that, advent children, cowboy bebop (fight with vicious or Vincent) or some ROD moribiki fights are the best. They are fluid and drawn with amazing talent.
um one piece sucks major ass compared to Bleach!! This was one of the most epic fights in bleach the only thing that could beat it are: Byakuya vs Ichigo, Kenpachi vs Ichigo, Kenpachi vs Nnoitra, or the final fight between Ulquiorra and Ichigo
i disagree the fight with luffy was pretty good dont get me wrong but i dont know if i could quite consider it a fight as it was for the most part oo onesided one of them almost always had to big of an upperhand to cause tension bleach however was ery well done and showed that even tho ichigo got his second wind grimjow was still pushing back just as hard

if u see bleach u see how they fight vs espada then come the story with the swords fron shinigami and than they keept the fight with the espadaso filer is a different story that dont get along with the main story... give filler in wiki

Why is this fight here..? Out of context, all these fights might look good where they are, disputably.. but.
The one you put at 12, Ryouho and Kazuma, given the context of the series, is more compelling to watch, and the final scene reveals that once they wake up, they go at it again, and keep going at it for about three years.
The fight goes from their basic powers, to their stronger powers, to ultimate, then to nothing, the two are such rivals they'll fight as normal people to win.

One of my most favorite fights in anime was the battle between Goku and Frieza in DBZ .....it was also one of the longest fights too, lasting several episodes. DBZ has a huge influence over the animes we watch today.

I can think of more fights better than this one. Dont get wrong. Bleach is one of my favorite animes but isnt the best anime. Dragonball Z, Yuyu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and others were among the best, but thats my opinion.

Just because you think a show is crappy doesn't mean it can't have a good fight scene. Although I do agree with you that this fight does not belong at #1. There are way better fights out there such as the ones in Karas or even the Goku vs Frieza fight. And this is from a Bleach fan.

It has the best direction/ choreography and it's just good old sword/scythe play no real magic firing or wierd abilities crap to speak off and its not won with the power of f**king friendship. Tho this fight with grimmjow is one of the best bleach ones for sure, because grimmjow is awesome

Best fight i saw in anime is the fight of Sasori Vs Sakura & Shioba in Naruto Shippuuden ... Also the fights between Deidra & Gaara, Deidra & Sasuke, Sasuke & Itachi, Shikamru & Inoue & Chogi & kakashi Vs Kakuzu & Hiddan, these fights are unforgettable... all shippuuden fights till now are unbelievable... Also, there are the fights in Yu Yu Hakusho, especially the fight between Yurimashi & Sansui & Yurimashi vs Yummy.... So sorry to say that bleach fights & techniques are so poor in comparison

ulquiorra vs ichigo was a boring fight..
in first few mins Ulquiorra kicks ichigo's ass
and
in the other few mins ichigo becomes a full hollow and kicks ulquiorra's ass.. that fight was totally unbalanced... Ichigo vs grimmjow was the real badass fight because it was fast paced and was balanced properly.(My opinion)

@MadmanRobz Your missing the POINT, Kubo trolls ichigo by bringing out his hollow side.. he does that when he has no other way to make things epic/cool or just ran out of ways to defeat the protagonist's opponent. And besides, being balanced mean that the fighting could go either way.. its SUSPENSEFULL!! And when its suspenseful you get more entertained. And also i said in brackets that it was my opinion lol

@Toonike94 Ichigo vs ulquiorra isn't a "real" fight. The first fight ulquiorra didnt even break a sweat defeating ichigo, ichigo was out his league. The recent fight is was the same thing, Ichigo died but somehow resurrected into full hallow and killed ulquiorra like nothing.
Overall, the fights against ichigo and ulquiorra suck. People just like it cause of ulquiorra 2nd form.

@Toonike94 How can you call it a fight, in both the fight they fought, Ichigo was no where near killing him, it just show him getting beat up by Ulquiorra for 1-2 episode straight. But somehow in the second fight he (ichigo) resurrected (pretty gay) and killed him. Of course the fan boy/girl like him, he got the slanted hair, emo look. which somehow made him one of the most popular character in the anime.

I was really impressed with this battle.
I havent seen yuyu hakusho nor cowboy bebop and no offense but, putting aside all the story-related events in each anime, just by watching yuyu hakusho's and cowboy bebop's battles through this top 20, I was more amazed with cowboy bebop than yuyu hakusho. (and even more amazed with samurai champloo)

are we talkin anime or manga, because lately the anime is pissing me off, sure the whole idea of showing the forms of all the zanpactous ( cant spell it worth shit) was a good one, about 50 or so friken episodes back. now their starting either wrapping that up with these sword beasts or starting a whole knew one, i wanna know how the fuck their going to incorperate this, suddenly show the zanpacktoues forms in the manga when this is all over with.

..... what? Goku vs Vegeta fights were all pretty pathetic, it was a lot of stormtrooper effects and horridly unrealistic physics.
vs Buu in ANY point was just a severely overpowered being attempting to wreck house without even realizing he was hurting people.
The Broly fight just ended in a big "FUCK YOU!" to the entire DBZ community. They can't barely touch him, but suddenly Goku punches him in the stomach and it kills Broly. No Ki blast, no Kamehameha, no Spirit Bomb, a gut check...

Bleach was overrated. Baki the Grappler was badass when it came to fighting. Pretty decent story for being cliche as hell but everyone knows they want to see Baki beat the shit out of his dad. You should watch it for good fight scenes.

I like bleach and one piece but their fights have way too many pauses for talks and explanations of what they are about to do. Naruto has alot of the same, but the original fight between naruto and sasuke when he was leaving the village, straight up action and it was amazingly animated. I would say that, advent children, cowboy bebop (fight with vicious or Vincent) or some ROD moribiki fights are the best. They are fluid and drawn with amazing talent.

i disagree the fight with luffy was pretty good dont get me wrong but i dont know if i could quite consider it a fight as it was for the most part oo onesided one of them almost always had to big of an upperhand to cause tension bleach however was ery well done and showed that even tho ichigo got his second wind grimjow was still pushing back just as hard
