Glad to see some honesty about ds...I`ve seen many kick the hell out of their careres cause they couldnt get, or were asked to do something they didnt want to do!!
My little cousin who is 5 has DS. She doesn't like change in a routine. Like when she goes down for a nap, my aunt lays down with her, and sometimes if my aunt isnt around, the babysitter when shes there will lay with her, and shes ok with that, but sometimes if my aunt goes somewhere and caroline goes to take a nap or is getting ready for bed at night, my uncle will lay with her, and she cries because her mom isnt there.
This is brilliant. The opportunities for people born with DS are growing all the time.
