unlocked cabinets, an assorment of valuable objects on counter, open wine collection!?!?! this is the equation for mass distruction (and a drunk dog XD)
Yeah. Not cruel. Really. Your analogy is completely backward; taking human emotion and logic and projecting it on a dog is about as inaccurate as you can get....that doesn't work....not to mention that a HUGE majority of dog experts and vets who have dedicated themselves to the study of animal psychology and training would agree that a crate is a helpful/effective tool in training that exercises sphincter control - get a couple books and stop being so emotional.
@gschmittmusic Look here you can try and say some fags in a lab coat know how the dog feel, but a animal is a animal.. it likes to be free and ive had dogs before and everytime I'd lock them up in a cage they always seemed more depressed and less energized as if it had emotions so please.
fags? "a animal?" What the hell does a lab coat have to do with anything? A vet wears a lab coat....You're educated. I can tell. lol
he wasn't saying the animal didn't have emotions...he was talking about HUMAN emotions, fuckwit. He's right. Just because you're too stupid to figure out how to humanely treat your animals and train them with a crate doesn't mean it's outwardly cruel; it just means you're not intellectually capable of doing it correctly.
wow....i'd rip you a new one, but it looks like somebody beat me to it by a minute. lol. Dude, you're wrong. I own three dogs...each one is a very happy, well-socialized animal. Your comments are very misguided.
somebodyjones2 - you, my friend, have a gift for the written word. You're also a bit of a bastard, but it's funny enough for me not to mind. lol
Im not saying its down right cruel, im just saying the animal perfers to be free instead of in a fucking cage. I can understand locking it up when your not home but most owners dont do that they leave them there most of the day.
sorry, buddy, but wrong again. My three dogs voluntarily walk into their crates every night...we don't even close them. It's not a battle between freedom and a cage. You like to sleep in your own room, rather than be "free" in your house. Well, think of them as their bedrooms. I DO agree with you when you say that some owners abuse a crate, but that's not the crate; it's the owner. Some abusive parents lock thier kids up in their rooms, too...it's not the room's fault.
@BPStester that is not true. Dogs are not true, they are den animals, they feel safe in a cage as they can control the small space. Left alone in a large house can sometimes be too much for them as they feel they have to control the space and it becomes to much for them to handle, hence anxiety. Most dogs if crated since a pupy will go in their crate on their own.
Your dog is obviously bored. She could have broken a bone jumping on/off that counter. Also, if one of those wine bottles broke, the glass and the alcohol are dangerous. Consider putting her in a safer environment with toys, etc. when you are not home.
This is funny. It looks like the doggy was trying to do everything that her family does when they are home. She attempted to cook, read magazines, and have a drink. LOL!
Poor little darling, but I had to laugh. She has separation anxiety. Something that is really good for this is a DAP diffuser. Just google DAP diffuser. :-)
Not funny.

Not cruel...really? Try having someone lock you up in a crate all day and see how you feel. If you don't have space for a dog, don't get one!
She's just being a dog. Better off to leave her somewhere safe, like the yard.
Anyway, cute dog.

oh come on cats and dogs jump massive heights on their own accord!
Pyroman1990 4 years ago
That doesn't mean it is safe.

the counter should not be the problem
if he/she can jump on it, they sure can jump down from it.
but the wine bottle, yes make a door for it so the dog can not get one of the bottles
