maybe for a short period....the whole "beind dead" part of being a zombie would hinder any sort of bipedal locomotion....not to mention rigormortis...So I would imagine that zombies would never really get much past a slow jog...running is hard enough on your joints as it is, I can only imagin what it is like when you factor in decay.

I feel ashamed that I actually got this from Red Box tonight with a promo code. I haven't watched it yet, but I saw Miner's name on it, and I'm a huge fan of Friday the 13th, so I immediately recognized him from Part 3 as well. Ving Rhames was killed off early which was sad, since he was the only talented actor in the cast. I am afraid to watch it now; not because of the zombies, but because of how bad it looks.

That's the problem. Day of the Dead isn't supposed to be funny. The original was a fucking masterpiece and will always be a masterpiece. This remake was pure garbage. I loved Friday the 13th Part 2 and 3 and Steve Miner who directed this film, but damn does the film suck. There is no soul to the film. Romero's Day of the Dead had a soul and had a meaning to it, and this film is just looking to cash in on the title, like every other remake in the last ten years. Reject this garbage!
