  • if you want to watch some thing good about a school shooting in stead of this pussy shit typ*columbine the anatomy of a school shooting* based on true story. this bang bang shit is the gayest movie iv ever seen lol

  • @jacob999666 A movie doesn't have gender so it can't be homosexual.

  • no one dies?... fuckin gay movie you can tell bible thumpers made this crap

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE! I love how they filmed it and the characters! They are so real and rigged it's amazing! I'm buying this! Thank you for posting it! :D

  • @FamineIsAwesome YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!

  • being bullied tought me is my thoughts will make me feel better if i actually did the action....but the outcome will be something i can handle, which is why im glad to just beat up my bully and got away with it...cuz if i took lives, i couldnt handle what would happend

  • @dk5388 *cant handle*

  • I love the part where you can almost see Trevor becoming Josh, in a sense. You can see it growing in his eyes. I can definitely understand and sympthasize witb Trevor. But it is kind of disappointing that it doesn't really go into detail about the boys wanting to commit the massacre, about their outcome. I'm assuming jail, love the transtion there thougb to the play, and how you can see it in everyone's eyes their slow progression of perhaps accepring Trevor in their town.

  • technically wouldnt the psychic be wrong?

  • @ilikeblondie thats wat i thot!

  • Waste of my time!!! I thought they would've killed every bitches in school.

  • @Hitlerkila7 lmao i know right i fuckin wasted my time watching this crap.. columbine ftw!!!!!!!!

  • sometimes I swear there's only like 40 people in the school

  • Wow this was a very good film, but it was a bit dissapointing that he stopped the shooting.

  • this made me cry

  • @MegaByakko Oleander - Runaway Train.

  • I still have my copy of this play safely on my bookshelf.

  • I'm a freshmen in high school and in my health class we were required to watch this movie. It breaks my heart to know these things really do happen.

  • my school shows this to all the sophomores about the third or fourth week after school starts. i think it's great. the amount of bullying in my school is at a minimum. there are only jokes between friends. no trash canning, swirlies, any of that stupid crap. its a great school to be in.

  • @90talisten BANG!

  • I sincerely wish more people understood the depth of this truly.

  • lol

    this was awesome

  • as good as this movie was, video games dont make you violent!

  • 2:46 to 2:57 reminds me of Eric Harris's little league picture.

  • @Speedskate2014 me too. but after all, i did nothing. i'm just dissapointed in myself, that i didn't help other bullied.

  • My school, Magnolia High School, year 2009-10, we did this play. I was the mother, my friend played Josh, he did a wonderful job. This play changed my life and my school. This was and is a wonderful movie/play.

  • Hey!

Genial, esta parte es de las mejores!!

    Gracias por compartir weyes gringos

  • He mentions columbine in a previous scene but yet it was released 13 days prior to it happening. kind of weird.

  • @chffmnn

wow here we have an fucking retard dumbass who thinkss this movie was out 13 days before columbine incident when it's obviously was the script of the movie but not actully the movie itself. what an dumb fucktard.

  • @90talisten wow, way to go against the entire anti-bullying campaign of the movie. why'd you even bother watching it if you weren't going to adhere to the message. words have impact, rude.

  • @djerby08

i bet you were bullied as a little kid, what a weak fuck.

  • @90talisten- bahahahahaha, seriously that was the best comeback you could reply with, a rather vacuous and shallow statement, with no evidentiary support or reasoning. Congrats, I can see you are quite the intellectual. You have such a unique prose, and a beautiful understanding of the English language. However, if you must know, sadly I was not bullied, but unlike you I have a brain and compassion, and I unlike you am not an arrogant, inconsiderate, mindless twat with nothing to do.

  • @djerby08 I wouldnt have even wasted my time replying to that man.

  • @90talisten

    Not weak. Just sick.

  • @Yoharashi

    Um, what`?

  • @90talisten

lol you cant be that retarded.

  • @Yoharashi

I am retarded because I dont know what you mean, ooookaaay.

You must be a cool person.

  • @djerby08

I agree about your statement towards 90talisten.

but you are better than that.

    Demonstrate it.

  • @90talisten hahahaha...you must be swedish. Not because of your name, but because of what an awful human being you sound like.

  • @MissJuliaCupcake

I am not swedish, but I live in Sweden. Good guess thou.

  • @MissJuliaCupcake I'm Swedish. Am I an awful human being? You do realise that you don't really sound like a nice person yourself when you stereotype people, right?

And why would you even think Swedes are worse persons than anyone else? Do you even know any Swedes?

  • i need to do this play for my social placement

  • girl: i miss the when seeing guy look in your eye when he's about to ask you out

boy: you mean when he going ask to borrow your math book LMAO (:

  • that was fucking sad!

  • I LOVE THIS FREAKIN MOVIE

  • this video is great because anyone can realate to it to some degree

  • I say they should make this a mandatory movie to watch in English class, freshman year high school.

  • My entire family had to deal/w being bullied in school, because of an incident that was out of our control when we were kids. Our parents never realy took us seriously either, so we had no one to realy talk to. I've had a kid my senior year actually tell me to commit suicide. He was 17yrs old, old enough to know better. I think what my little brother told me was good. "I'm glad I was bullied, because I didn't turn out like them."

  • it pains me to think, that it says the play was first premiered on april 7th 1999. if only it was littleton colorado rather than oregon. cause 13 days after that premier, columbine massacre. 15 people dead, shot by two students just like trevor. they should have seen this.

  • 13 people that disliked this must be bullies

  • this is an awesome act!

  • amazing that the choice to put down the gun makes you a hero :)

  • 0:17 wow that fall was so fake.

  • "i guess i am sick of you being dissapointed all the time" that should be a quote on a statue

  • i am dead searious right now!!! I am in tears! I am in tears, cuz my bully put me through hell for so many years...and ever since he started bullying me when i was in the 3rd grade, all i ever hoped was to see him dead, i've even dreamed it. But even though this is my 200th time watching this, i finnally relize if i ever taken his life he will lose everything in life and it will be cuz of me, i am amazed i hated him for so long, n if i faught back he will lose alot more then me :'-(

  • @dk5388 - I think you missed a bit of a point :) If one kills his/her bully, it's not just the bully that loses everything, the bullied person will lose everything too... your future, your prospects in life, all the amazing possibilities of life AFTER high school.

  • @shahoney right on the money but sadly most killers choose to take the easy way out thus having not to deal with remorse and guilt!

  • Perfect movie, this bit at the end is a little incorrect for a play setting. but it is a movie.

  • They need to show this movie to everyone in school.

  • @peppermint23 they do in mine. there was a lot of people crying. :'(

  • @peppermint23 I agree. When I was his, I felt like trev. I was harassed and humiliated for no reason. And I also delt with rumors that I was gonna bomb and shoot up the school. The funny thing is that when those rumors began circulating, they stopped picking on me. That goes to show that bullies are nothing but pussies.

  • @peppermint23 I tried back when it came out in 2002 and the school said that it would cause people to try something. So most schools now a days won't show it either.

  • When I saw this scene It made me think of what the afterlife is like for school shooters that commit suicide (not sure if there is an afterlife but anyway). I wonder if school shooters face their victims after killing them & themselfs.

This scene makes me picture all the real life victims asking the the shooters why, & the shooters trying to explain themselfs, realising how much pain they caused people, then regretting killing them.

  • "Sometimes I hate being alive, but I'm too afraid to be dead"

  • @DisturbedAngellx3 that quote spoke to me..every1 felt like that ppl dont admit it but its true

  • i thought this movie was basted on colinbine till i realized the date this came out 13 days before colimbine and the fact that colimbines ending was much diff

  • @WWECOVERAGE According to IMDB, it came out in 2002, in fact, I think they even referred to Columbine in an earlier part.

  • @rommelAOE movie is after play is before. yes there was refference to Columbine here. in part 6 i think.

  • @WWECOVERAGE Never mind, I'm an idiot.

  • Was this like meant to come out a few days before columbine happened or was that a cuincidence?

  • This isn't even an American school... wtffff

  • What happened to Sean and the other two boys? Did they go to prison or what?

  • @alexisfowler93 I'm sorry i cant answer your question, but I don't think thats the message with the movie, to know what happens after and thats why it was left out

  • "i mean, how else can i tell you whats on my mind, without you interrupting all the time? you dont know how hard it is to be no one." couldnt hold tears back after that lol

  • I have a PE teacher like Mr Duncan her name is Mrs Lunt she is like the youngest teacher on staff so we all hang out with her and all the students go hang out with her

  • Thanks for the movie! Checked it out just to see Randy Harrison but got completely caught up in it even though his part is not that large. I really enjoyed this have to get the DVD. Ben Foster is just great. Thanks again!

  • Hi there! Where can I get the sound effect of this movie?

  • this movie is like my bible...i have been through all of that n had those thoughts like that...but i am glad i didnt cuz i know i will move on n be a better man

  • Ben Foster truely is genius .Best oh his generation and least famous.

  • we watched this movie at my junior high and all of the kids laughed and made fun of it. i was just about the only one that understood how fucking amazing it was.

  • @FAYtownBALLERS that sucks they laughed.. they won't be laughing when they're in high school and end up learning what it feels like. and you are so right--- this is fucking amazing!..

  • "Oh, God."

That line broke my fucking heart.

  • @HellsOnlyBelle "sometimes I want to die, but I'm to afraid to be dead" --- that line broke mine </3

  • that play was peformed in my school a couple of years ago exept the school changed the play just a little bit but there pretty much the same thing, its called rocksolid, it was for bulying, but this movie was reallly good

  • im so sad they never shot up the cafeteria, this movie is such a waste of time.

  • @fuckcomments

for some reason I feel the same... people should get what they deserve ... instant justice

  • @Xelastic in my opinion i dont

  • He is such a master of this craft. This movie is touching, and beautiful, and should be a mandatory watch for all highschools.

  • Brillant, deep, well done

  • they should have every school, every class, every single person watch this clip. no not because of the school shooting, but because of its meaning. what cold blooded bastard could kill some one. what cold hearted kid could push some one to the extent to shoot their peers. they are taking away more and more lives everyday. why cant we live in a world where there is no worrying, no suffering, no sadness. only the joy of everyday life and living it how you want, only the death from age........

  • ugh this is such a great movie. I love Ben Foster, he's so amazing at what he does. :)

  • This movie is life changing maybe not for others but for my friend and me has deffinately been changed by this wonderful movie!! Watch this for the first time in my freshman health class.

  • That was one of the best movies I've ever seen. All because of that final scene.

  • This movie is nothing but a badly executed after school special. So incredibly cliche and eye roll- inducing.

"I miss falling asleep on my bed while listening to a new CD!" "

I miss eating popcorn and channel surfing!"

Seriously, who says things like that? I want back the IQ points I lost while watching this drivel.

  • @Kroovy68 ...... the line you just critisised and quoted are from the play

not the movie..did you watch the full movie or just this part 10 on the youtube

  • @smudgeVIW I watched the whole movie, unfortunately. I'm not a quitter.

Incidentally, children's theatre is what I do for a living, and I can honestly say I would never allow a production of this at my theater. If this play has, by some chance, helped a few kids, then wonderful. But I seriously doubt anyone could take it that seriously.

  • @Kroovy68 .........fair enough to your point. i'm happy i find someone that had a reasonable reply.

  • @smudgeVIW Hey thanks. I appreciate that your replies weren't rude or obnoxious like most who have differing opinions. I'm happy to find someone who is open minded and polite.

  • @Kroovy68 children, are 15-17 year olds children?

  • @TheLiftoffExperement Yes. Teenagers are children. Like a subdivision.

  • definitely one of my favorite movies

  • i love trevor's (josh's) monologue after he kills his parents

  • good movie!!!! - debio haber matado a los hijos de perra que lo jodieron!!!

  • I did this play cause my theater teacher wanted to do it....I didn't realize it at that point in time but Tim Carter really changed my life but putting me in that place ...no I wasn't gonna shot up the school or anything like that but it showed me rage isn't the right way to handle my problems and it saved me from a lot of trouble. Thanks to who ever posted up this movie.

  • This was one of the heart moving movies I've ever seen. If it were possible, I'd give it 3 thumbs up!!!

  • Damn, it was really great right until they f***ing dragged video games into it, now the people the message is intended for won't get it 'cause they'll only focus on the scapegoat again...

  • i dont understand this movie very well

  • this play is so amazing

  • i was hoping they would have killed everyone..

  • Amazing movie, amazing message. Should be shown in schools =)

  • We watched this in drama class once :) It's really one of my favourite movies now, kinda reminds me of myself... Only if people would've treated me as bad as they treat trevor, I would've snapped and really killed them... and enjoyed it...

I really want to do this play or something like it sometime (with a female lead cuz I want to be "Josh") but I don't think I will, cause I'll pick music next year, and I will continue with music for the rest of my education.

  • makes me cry!

  • @BarbaraHertiman fuk yea had to pause @ 4:44 from all the tears. goddamn i love this movie

  • Forgot to ask in my first post as well...(sorry)..What is the song at the end and who sings it?

  • I absolutely love this play, we performed it yesterday at my school in front of half of the entire student body. They were so freaking immature about it at first, but then they finally caught on, thank god. Yay Bang Bang You're Dead!

  • i LOVE this movie. thank you for posting it.

  • Not bad. Zero Day was better. I think the movie has a much stronger message if the actual killing happens.

I think it makes it more likely the schools of the country and the world will do something about this real life problem. But that's just me.

If you haven't seen Zero Day you should see it.

  • @HailDaFins This movie is incredible but yes, Zero Day was better in my eyes too, i like the 'first person point of views' and how the film was shot, very realistic an shocking.

  • we did this play in my school years ago. (2004)

I was Michael (dude that stole Josh's girlfriend)

    ..seriously this play is strong.

  • i love this!!! Im in the play right now and can't stop thinking about this story!!!

  • ok . i'm crying now ....

  • the play is really good and the message is really strong

  • i saw this in 7th grade....i didnt really understand it even when she explained it...but now..its really clear...everyone must watch this

  • Auggie from Higher Ground!

  • PERFECT!

  • I LOVE THIS *.*

  • God, Ben Foster was absolutely brilliant in this. Probably one of the greatest performances I've ever seen from him. He played the role perfectly. Especially in this part and the last one.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that both the story of the film and the play are beautifully written and executed as well.

  • @VinCon01 I have to completely agree. He was in Alpa Dog and really great in it but it does not compare to his performance in this. I've seen it several times and I'm always in total awe, it's just spectacular. Ben Foster is such a wonderful actor.

  • I was bullied, It started in middle school because of a bad haircut, being weak, and having a bad fashion sense.

Instead of letting it persist any further I stopped it myself. A bully came up to me one day in the hall and started pushing me around while a bunch of girls watched and laughed. I punched him in the stomach so har he almost threw up. he curled over on the ground and I walked away. I never really got bullied after that. im sure they found some other kid though.

  • excellent...............came across this by chance, never heard of it before.

  • we need more teachers like the drama teacher in this movie.

  • @chicalatina665 that actor (the one that plays the drama teacher) also plays as J.D.'s brother from Scrubs

  • @chicalatina665 well, we have an option. we, the people seeing this, seeing the everyday trogs life in our schools. we can be those teachers. i, ... think of such possibilities. i start to think i might have an aim.

  • i'm currently accting in this play and it is so intense. so brilliant! i love it! well worth a look if you get the chance!

  • whats the song at the end

  • Runaway Train, by Oleander. The music video is on this site if you wanna hear the whole thing.

Trust me, you do. It's a great song.

  • i love this play its fantastic i saw it my sophomore year in high school at a play competition it made me cry

  • Fuck man, they didn't come through with it, all there was was a shitty play.

  • Excellent movie. First time ever a film has made my heart pound without startling me. Bravo.

  • Excellent work.

  • love this movie

  • The play part, ( This part ) Made me cry, it makes such a good point and i love this movie.

  • At first I thought I would be disappointed that it wasn't going to end in a shooting, because that's what I was looking for (I admit it)

But this movie has such an inspiring ending that could turn around the lives of anyone in his position, and I'm glad to have watched it :)

  • whats the ending soundtack?

  • Awesome movie, I'm from Mexico, my English class did this play last year, it went really well. One of the best experiences I had during high school. Thank you very much for uploading this movie.

  • is the play in the movie like the actuall play

  • @radman90310 Yeah pretty much, the play is about the ghost of the students who Josh murdered., the ghosts "hunt" him while he sleeps, but the play has many flashbacks like when Josh went hunting for the first time...it's a great, great play.

  • i wish i could go see it i just watched the movie for the 2nd time on youtube

  • yes

  • TyrantGoat, you need to lighten up first off. You obviously didn't get the point of this movie. It was a great movie, and perfectly executed. It's people like you that this movie was created, in hopes of changing the way you think. Obviously you didn't get it.

  • people like him? and your still doing the same thing people did to josh?

when will 'we' Learn, love is the key that unlocks the door of hate.

  • I miss speedballs.

  • meean movie. but im doing the play at skool atm and i rekon we do it waaay better than they did

  • If this movie and Zero Day was combined, that would be an awesome movie.

  • You missed the whole point of the movie. It's not supposed to be about kids shooting up their school, it's about the effects of bullying and the hellish torment kids have to go through which can LEAD to acts of violence once that final line is crossed.

  • school shooters are weaklings who don't want to die alone, most of them probably had medication that they went off of prior to the crime. Happiness never comes in a pill, so if you're depressed fix whats wrong through hard work instead of a quick out like a depression pill.

  • Comment removed

  • Obviously you don't have the mindset to understand. School shooters don't want to be school shooters. It's a combination of things that make them the way they are. Nothing as simple like being off medication. The ability to take another human's life is never simple. Maybe you should notice just how alone some people really are. They aren't necesarily bad guys. They're just people with bad luck, and no one to help them most of the time. If people would help it could be prevented.

  • That statement was ment toward nsewx btw.

  • don't pretend there aren't monsters out there, just watch dateline.. not to mention what goes on in Africa between waring tribes..Slavery,black market, cannibalism and child soldiers..this world is a fucking mess and it's going down the drain faster and faster. This is why execution exist, this is why war exist because it's not a happy time to be alive anymore..Go ahead and start your dream family, buy a house you can't afford and have multiple kids in this dead economy, you wont have it for long.

  • I am alone, and i've been labeled as a threat behind my back at school. It's easy to go crazy, you just need the right thing to go horribly wrong. For some it's going off meds and like you point out aren't lucky with girls or any other social group. But to take a gun and kill someone who is unarmed that didn't say or do anything to you is weak and it can't be analyzed any other way..terrorist are just as weak, they video themselves killing Innocent civilians and kill themselves if ambushed.
