  • are the sidewinders good for medium speed and carving???

  • hey i have the same board and trucks but i'm getting wheel bite i'm using 1/8 risers.

so if i use 1/2 in risers do you avoid wheel bite ? please answer

  • dope man my bro got a cutsom board hit 57mph i was like wtf dope man!

  • i have a sector 9 haleiwa and i love it. its perfect for cruisin and not so good for downhill. it would be better if u get different trucks for it

  • Love the board. I have one myself. What's your setup?

  • are sector 9's fast? like ive seen videos of other boards where people show them going reaallly fast and stuff.. like 30 mph and stuff. could u go that fast on these? like could u ride a distance without having to push over and over?

  • @xKINGkhanSRKx yeah, my friend clocked me going 40mph on a street here in Colo. As far as cruising that is based on what type of berrings you get. They are good though!

  • @StaticSoundz what kind of sector 9 do u have?? im pretty ure theres different kinds right? and what berrings do u have or suggest?

    thanks!

  • @xKINGkhanSRKx I have the Teahupoo series, smooth ride! And honestly man if your just gonna be cruisin' around your college campus or around your neighborhood, just stick with the stock ones they come with. They are very nice once you break them in.

  • DAMN YOUR ROADS ARE SO NICE!! Hahah I'm so jealous, the roads where I live aren't that great unless you go to the newer neighborhoods =p

  • The song is called Embrace by Pnau

  • whats the song?

  • Hey man, I just got this board, my first longboard. It's awesome, I already know how to longboard. But one problem, whenever I try to carve, it barely does it, like its not very wide of a carve. It's just a little wiggle to the left. I am new to longboards, so I was thinking, do I need to loosen the trucks, or what are these sidewinders? Please help, how do I fix this carving problem, and what do I need. Please explain everything, I'm pretty new. Thanks a lot dude! Great vid! :D

  • @MoltenFilms Grats on the new board bud! Try loosening the front and back trucks up a little bit and try that out. You don't need sidewinders to carve.

  • @StaticSoundz I had the same problem too when I got mine. Thank you for answering this :)!!

  • I got this board it's awesome

  • is this board worth the money?

  • @MatthewTubmanFolder yes, you get what you pay for and that is a solid, comfortable and smooth ride.

  • wish colorado had palm trees...

  • i am getting the teahupoo and i was wondering if i should bother getting bigger wheels or risers for it. anyone have any suggestions?

  • Hey how is this board? is it carvy at all?

  • I want to ride right now! Nice video!

  • Hey do you get wheel bites with the sidewinders?? i love carving and sliding, i want to learn how to slide, but i'm thinking of getting the sidewinders....

  • @andresote182 I have yet to have any wheel bite. the board sits very high on the trucks. You would have to loosen the trucks a ton and be going very slow, WHILE cranking a carve, to get any wheel bite.

  • I really fucking love this board, i just bought it yesterday!! it's the sweetest!!

  • Alright thanks. I think that's exactly what I needed to hear. Ima start saving for one if them. But I only have like $14. Shitt I'll get one by summer.

  • I love carving, and I love downhill bombing, so I bought two boards, and two different sets of trucks. Best of both!

  • do you know alot about longboards?

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 I know a decent amount. Got a question buddy?

  • yea do you think you can put gullwing sidewinder trucks on a sector9 OG cloud longboard? I can give you a link to look at it if you need it

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 PM me a link bud. Ill see what I can do.

  • @StaticSoundz Another question, so you are saying u don't get wheel bites, so is that good for sliding!!?? i already learned how to slide with my chargers... but the sidewinders set a lil' too high on the board?? PLEASE answer!

  • @andresote182 Hmm.. well with the Siwdewider trucks sitting so high, you're able to crank deeper into your slide as opposed to lower lying trucks preventing you from turning anymore. I would imagine it'd be pretty good for sliding.

  • @StaticSoundz Thanks dude! i will be asking you about some stuff... Because i just bought this board like three weeks ago... and i'm thinking about selling the chargers and buying the sidewinders... Nice! Thanks a lot dude!

  • That's a sweet ride. But I am looking for more of a down hill set up. I like the Teahupoo board and shape but I wasn't going to put the sidewinder trucks on it so I could have more speed stability. How did the origional gullwing charger trucks feel on the board?

  • I love the Tehupoo, I have two models from different years! one with the sidewinder trucks and the other with the chargers. The chargers handle extremely well (when adjusted correctly) during downhill bomb sessions. I easily cruised at about 33mph+ with no wobbles at all.

  • cool. im thinking about buying the gullwing sidewinder trucks. how do you like them? they seem pretty good. i do alot of sliding and carving and stuff, and they look like they can turn really fast and sharp.

  • I love em! I think they are an all around very smooth ride and can carve hella sharp! Wouldn't suggest for downhill bombing. you can certainly feel the difference with the two added bushings
