could you show me any source how to work the sound generation? ps: i haven't speccy, i have enterprise 128, my favorite games: bruce lee, the last ninja2...
I would love to hear this song done with an electric guitar, bass, and some real drums. If you can put that together please post it. Get some musician friends to do it if you can't, cause I dig that tune. It just sounds like an 80's video game because it's digitized.
I was alive and gaming then. But as shingebis pointed out 2 months ago, it's actually 4 kilobytes of code. In computer architecture, 8-bit integers, memory addresses, or other data units are those that are at most 8 bits (1 octet) wide. Also, 8-bit CPU and ALU architectures are those that are based on registers, address buses, or data buses of that size. Eight-bit CPUs normally use an 8-bit data bus and a 16-bit address bus which means that their address space is limited to 64 kibibytes.
There's not really a direct meaning to the title - it's meant to be fairly abstract - but the whole work can be seen as a sort of visual haiku, in the way that it's describing scenes of nature in a minimalist, constrained way (except that the constraint here was 4 kilobytes of code, instead of 17 syllables)...

This is beautiful. Is there a ZX demo community with tutorials on how to program for this machine? I'd love to look into that. Thank you.

Haiku is poetry. it consists of 5-7-5. 5 syllables, 7 syllables and 5 syllables.
ex:
The name is Jalin
I reside in Iowa
I do not like it
the first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 and the third line has 5.

It's the AY chip, which is the standard audio hardware on the Spectrum 128K (and available as an add-on for the 48).

Amazing demo! Stylized colors and a great song make it all come together very nicely. Well done!

I don't understand. How is this supposed to be Haiku? Or is it about Haiku instead?
