Ralph may be right, but I wish I didn't vote for him in '00 and helped get 8 years of Bush. I really doubt a Gore presidency would have ignored the warnings for 9/11, and got us into two wasteful, endless wars....
WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!! WHITE POWER!!!!!!!!!
After the sordid backstairs intrigue that brought us Obamacare over the objections of most Americans; after the automotive bailout and Cash for Clunkers and the unbelievably negligent expenditure of $787 billion in failed stimulus; after the illegal war in Libya; after his stubborn refusal to change course after the Democrats got clobbered in the mid-term elections, this couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Obama’s gift is to have his administration fall apart after only three years.
This is exactly the problem that Obama has right now getting anything done. He's a very smart person, but, he's too compromising. He seems to also have a lot of dirt on him that makes him vulnerable to anyone who's willing to chuck it.
This is a big reason why he will not get the vote of people like me who want someone who can affect congressional policy.
and he was right. Obama has not been the good man he pretended to be. yes we can was to do more of the same.
can we stop the megacide wars based on lies, can we dissolve gitmo, can we stop the idiotic TSA policies, can we investigate what really happened on 9/11, can we get the truth about UFOs, can we bring bush cheney to justice. no we can't.
I remember that Obama said that 6 months after he was elected, every American would have health care. Instead, he devised a ridiculous plan that is really only 5% of a health care plan. Soon most of it will be repealed anyway. Obama had a Congress that was overwhelmingly Democratic. It just shows that most of the Democrats & all of the Republicans are owned by big business. I took a chance & donated money 3 times to Obama's campaign. It turns out he is just a puppet of corporate billionaires.
people dont have the courage to vote for nader. they say they want change but they always vote for four more years of the same. I agree with nader about obama, except on israel (obama is no riend of israel and the world does not need a palestinean state of hate filled people sworn to kill the jewish people) but the point is why did the american people vote for obama without knowing anything about him even though all this info about him was in the public domaine?
The only attention the corporate controled media will ever give Nadar and Paul would be to make them look bad! Wake up America! The Media controls and shapes your thoughts and beliefs...
YEEEEEEEEEAH Wellstone!!! I was only in about 4th grade when Paul died, but I remember being very sad about it because I had heard only good things about him and my parents loved him.
Ralph Nader, like Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are constantly discredited or kept out of the mainstream light. If these were the only three available candidates in 2012 I really don't believe America would have a problem appointing any of the three to President. If the Main Stream Media gave these 3 men a platform to speak DURING ELECTION TIME they would emerge as the leaders they are. The MSM bashed Ron Paul, left his name out of polls etc when he was up because he is feared by the Big Govt.
I could not vote for either candidate (Repub or Dem) in 08. I ended up for the first time in my adult life voting non- Dem/Rep and voted for a 3rd Party member. It was my own message (as little a message as it was, but it was mine) to both the big partys that neither one was worthy of my vote anymore. Not until a true leader emerges that remembers and believes in and will return us to the "Federal Constitutional Republic" we are supposed to be.
This is all predestined! The American public is always the last ones to be in on the joke.Nader was a great choice, but he didn't stand a chance. The Dems and Reps are one!
And now today December 2nd 2009 we can all be very disappointed in Barack Obama. Change that we can believe in has morphed into change that we can all forget about. Obama has sold out to the military industrial complex.
Good Americans, be honest, you are F**#@$cked. If your own government can lie and cheat on you's, what do you think they've already done to the rest of the world? Wake up! Latin is for the pro's, to translate in english for the sheeple fools to misunderstand! Explain to the blind the clor gren and you end up with sheeple, stuborn sheeple!
Unlike in other Western countries, a new President in America gets to choose all his little mates for whatever purpose he wants. So he can set up a REGIME quite easily, and they can do what they want. Dangerous system. So sometimes it goes haywire: the Iraq War for eg. A small number of people can ride roughshod over everybody else. Wholesale revision required. You need elected cabinet members (!) and an independent/unmuzzled civil service.
@livegems It's not quite like that. The Cabinet has no real power that the president does not. Also, the Senate has to approve before one gets brought in. The problem is that corporations are running the country. That's where the corruption is at.
I kinda like Obama and he had better watch out for the zionist Biden who could be a repeat of how the Israeli jews had JFK killed because he wouldn't allow Israel to have nuclear weapons which was the same policy as Eisenhower. Once that paid stooge of the jews LBJ was put into the presidency the jews then got their nuclear weapons along with every single thing they wanted. I'm not saying LBJ was part of the JFK killing but he likely knew it was in the works because the jews had to find a way
Your outrageous bigotry makes me want to be a republican just because you said you like Obama. JFK was not killed because of Jews you moron and yes 6 million did die in case you a pondering.
Here's what puzzles me, Barack Obama campaigned on being Pro-Life. Yet he just signed an executive order reversing the Bush Administration ban on federal money for international groups that perform abortions. I think he did it not for liberal activist groups, but I think that he may have his hand in corporate pockets again.
wow these idiots believe him, this guy is a zionist, what is wrong with the usa people, they are so engrossed in there own lives that they dont realise that these people are crushing the lives of there children.
Its clear to me Obama is for big corporations and not for the people. So now what do we die, just be enslaved that is how the Insiders want it to be and Obama is their puppet.
It's important to remember.... Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Hirohito, Ivan IV, Vlad the Impaler, Idi Amin Dada, Ayatollah Khomeini, Charles Manson, and the Rev Jim Jones all have something in common with Barack Hussein Obama II........ Ignorant blind sheepole following them into an obvious abyss... wake up people... wipe the shite from your eyes...
"To put it simply, he is our first African American president; or he will be. And we wish him well. But his choice, basically, is whether he's going to be Uncle Sam for the people of his country, or Uncle Tom for the giant corporations." Nader.
To all those for whom America has represented generations of racial injustice, the election of Americas first Black president marks the beginning of a new eraBut unless the inspired millions who brought him to power continue to believe their demands matter and insist on holding him accountable each step of the way, it will be Obamas corporate and hawkish friends who determine the domestic and foreign policies of the coming administration and our collective future. Anjali Kamat
Nader l disagree here with you he had to do what he had to do to get ellected he is smart, but you talk for years and talk many times right but you will never hold a office becuse you do not know how to get there, inteligence is masured by the way you adopt yourself to your invoriment, and once you are at the top than you do what is right,
If you think that Obama is suddenly going to start doing what's right now that he is elected, you WILL be disappointed. If you admit that Obama had to pander to the corrupt in order to get elected, what stops him from continuing to do so to ensure a re-election?
I'm an obama supporter but I agree with Nader when he says that Obama needs to be more firm with certain issues. Maybe he kept quiet and was being agreeable in order to win votes, maybe it's what his campaign told him to do, because he seemed very pro palestinian before. Good news is Obama won over McCain but will he deliver? I think he will but we just have to wait and see.
Forever fuck Ralph Nader the green party and everybody connected. The election is over. Either you're gonna help make things better or you can jump off a bridge. This kind of Wine only goes with cheese.
Oh yes that's right! Now that the elections are over everyone is supposed to forget about politics, disagreements, conflicting values and instead pretend to be unified, patriotic and 'pragmatic'...how could anyone forget that?
You have a point. Not everyone is going to agree with every viewpoint. But do you really think Nader has any clue how to run this country if he had somehow did beat Obama and McCain? I don't think so. The whole country would look like the 60's woodstock aftermath.
This windbag has spent his life crowing about "corporate fat cats" but I bet he doesn't speak for free. Hemp made cars, blankets and houses for everyone. Let's make a windbag out of hemp and name it after Nader. That's a green idea!
LOL! "this vital information"?! He is lying about the corporate money. Obama has the same % of coporate money than Nader. Look it up on opensecrets . org
Does anyone know of one Senator who does not take corporate money? Obama received more corporate money than any presidential candidate in history. The Dems needed to put a new face on on their party. Obama will turn out to be a bigger scam than Clinton was. "Placebo liberals" are the only candidates offered up by the corrupt Democratic party. We need a real representative of the people to be in the White House. If Diogenes were still in search of the "honest man" he would find him in Ralph.
LOL, it sounds catchy until u look up the actual numbers on opensecrets . org Individual contributions: Obama: 94% Nader: 63% McCain: 80% % from Donors of $200 or less: Obama: 50% Nader: 51% McCain: 32% % from Donors of $4,600: Obama: 8% Nader: 9% McCain: 17% PAC money: Obama:$450 = 0% Nader:$0 = 0% McCain: $1,346,385 = 1% Full disclosure: Obama:92.4% Nader:90.4% McCain: 85.8% Nader's problem is that he didn't raise even close to what O raised online & that's cause people didn't support him
One of the way the Nader camp spins his lack of support as opposed to Obama is just hilarious but it calls employee donations "corporate money". ie. just because I am an employee of a private or public corporation, my donation to my candidate is called by the Nader camp "corporate money. An easy way to debunk this is to go to fundrace . huffingtonpost . com and look up the top corporate donors to a candidate and see what percent is upper management and what % is just regular employees.
what's most ridiculous is when you look up Halliburton it looks like they donated more to Obama than McCain as a corporation until you go to huffingtonpost and realize that truckdrivers and regular employees are the major part of the "corporate donation"
Madashell you need to dig a little deeper. Is George Soros an individual or corporate contributor? And how many multi-billionaires and multi-millionaires feathered Obama's coffers? Big money supported Obama for big money needs a "kinder and gentler face". And once again they have control of the executive branch of the government. Obama will cut more social spending than he initiates. Time will tell.
Once again the electorate have been scammed by a Democratic phoney liberal. Republicans and Democrats are the problem and not the solution. For it is they and they alone who have taken us to the dire straits that America inhabits. We need real change!
I assume you claim that you somehow dig deeper than I, but in that case can you come up with actual figures to counter my numbers?! Im open to some healthy skepticism about the Democratic Party and Obama but to take what Nader says without any critical thought strikes me as dogmatic and not befitting to progressives. If you look into bundling and how bundlers circumvent limits you'll find a lot of billionaire money going into the system that way. But that's only about 10% of the $600 million.
Nader doesn't have that problem because bundling occurs at the tail end of campaigns when donors start to bump into their $4600 upper limit. i agree that it's a bad practice and it should be stopped but to say that Obama is corrupt because he doesn't refuse this money ignores the political reality of the US system: if you actively refuse corporate money you can't get airtime in corporate media and that's that: you can't compete. I give O the benefit of the doubt and believe he will change this
We already hear "sacrifice" interspersed throughout Obama's speeches. We shall soon hear pleas for sacrifice to balance a budget that has gone more awry than any time in history. The lowwer classes will shoulder the burden of paying for the largesse and excesses of their rulers. While fools like madashell applaud those who have run off with the keys to the treaury get ready to tighten your already to tight belts. The ruling class have run off with the pig and we will be stuck with the bill.
LOL, you remind me of my republican friends: when faced with facts they change the subject & either ignore them or call them "partisan". Sorry, but facts are facts: stubborn little things.
again go 2 fec . gov and opensecrets . org
Perhaps your dear leader is not Jesus after all and he might spin the facts every now and then, have you ever thought about that possibility?! Or how about the possibility that he is a mole payed by the FBI?! u c, I can make shit up just as easy, facts r important
Ahhhh so you admit to having Republican friends. It is no secret that the Dems And Repubs work together to frisk the populace. Gee Obama himself refuses to impeach his comrade Bush. "Facts" are to be questioned. Who is that manufactured these facts? Chomsky's and Herman's "Manufacturing Consent" come to mind. Of course the corporate media will furnish the necessary "facts" to sustain the propaganda model. I will check your "facts" and furnish something of more substance.
We have had the courage not to choose the "lesser of two evils", but instead to have laid hands on the good. "Hold your heads up" is uplifting reading at the Nader site.
What you need to look at now is how Obama has loaded up his cabinet & top posts with staunch Zionists, Bilderbergers, Tri-Lateral Commission people,AIPAC stooges, and of course members of CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). Meet the new boss...same as the old boss. Yes, you certainly do need to dig a little deeper, thankyou. You've been distracted by the money, while you should have concentrated on power.
what you need to do is learn something about your own country's history especially between 1932 and 68. When you do, name the US president who didn't do all the things you accuse Obama of. Then go over the election results state by state and see who voted Obama into office. He is not doing anything he wasn't expected to. When you and your fellow americans are as well informed as europeans perhaps you will elect a socialist like Norway or Finland does, until then you are citizens of an empire.
Who said the people of this 'empire' elect anyone. The fascists make sure the dice are loaded, and only the approved candidates, willing to kiss corporate Americas ass are 'selected' to run. A scam & sham are what most Americans buy as democracy now in these rigged elections. If Obama hadn't been 'selected' to continue the same old same old, and sold his soul to the behind the scenes big dogs who pull the strings, he would be facing assassination rather than innauguration.
I don't see it that way. I did the numbers and read Greg Palast and RFK Jr. The reason 5-6 million votes were not stolen this time was 2 fold:
1. the OH court hearing Mike Connell had to testify 2 days before the election, he was killed since then.
for more see
velvetrevolution . us
2. the financial meltdown got the Rove machine with pants down and they lost districts that they didn't have time to rig because they were considered reliable republican districts.
It's a damn shame Mike Connell was assassinated. How much coverage has his death gotten in the MSM, little to nothing of course despite being the most important witness against the corrupt 'system' in at least a decade. It did send a message to other potential 'whistleblowers'...keep your trap shut or we will kill you.
Yeah, but you see, the elections are a great proof of Obama's brilliance: the reason he won as because he got the votes of a lot of people who voted for Bush twice before. I call them Colin Powell republicans. Without them Rove would have probably stolen this one too. So I would think twice before making assumptions about Obama's triangulation and appointments. I will wait until the end of 2009 to judge him.
Tons of Kudos for Nader. I totally agree with him. I believe Obama is just another coporate "yes" man. He will not stay true to the game.
Change of color, yes. Change of policy, definitely NO. The man is already bowing to Israel.....Obama is a cunning politician. A lot of people will be disappointed!!
Nader helped get Bush elected in the first place, so he is responsible for more damage to the U.S. than Obama could ever be capable of. If I was Obama I woulndn't waste my time with this irrelevant old prick.
Ralph Nader makes some good points. Obama lacks a challenging personality and will quickly buckle when the mainstream media isn't there to protect him. Obama was elected because he is black and very charismatic. Beyond that he is an empty suite with lousy values who can't handle a challenge.
First of all the word uncle is missused and the real meaning is a sellout. 2nd if you ever notice fox always attacks people like nader so the masses agree with them. Why do people trust the news so easy, my guess is because they are accurate with the weather so you trsut them, another thing when they have breaking news it is "Live" which gives you more trust on them cuz they are alive and not fake because they are there in that moment in life which you are on your couch agreeing on everything.
he makes decent points but he isnt very smart about everything he says especially the "uncle tom" i doubt he will ever win or see a really big part of the votes
Hes not really trying to win. He is trying to open peoples eyes. He did it with the automobile industry years ago. Look up his book called Unsafe at any speed
K3v1n74n is a fucking fag... people like you are the problem, people like you are why bush gets away without impeachment, people like you are why our economy is failing, PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHY OUR COUNTRY IS IN A SPIRALING DOWNFALL AND WILL NEVER RECOVER.

nader is a fuckin fag. if he runs for president next year coz he gets that 2%, thats gonna prove a point to people around the world that americans are fuckin stupid.
I am continually awed by this man's words. It is a shame that he will never be president. It would be the best thing to happen to the US 'since sliced bread.'
Do you think he would win the election if he publcally stated on a national level his support of a two state solution or his suppot of the Palestnians?
I'm not saying that he's going to win anyway but, do you think that some roles you have to play as a candidate in order to get into the white house?
Truth. It is clear. Nader indicts the Federal Reserve cartel. He lays out grounds for high treason. That my friends is what truthful people do.
2.3 Trillion Dollars was lost by the Pentagon. It was announced because a whistle blower exposed the fraud. It is entirely ignored by YOUR CORRUPT CONGRESS.
The VERY NEXT DAY, the SEC headquarters was vaporized in NYC.
2 innocent countries were invaded for having a CIA dictator and CIA run poppy fields.
Nader can't win in 2008, a third party can't win the presidency in the current political system, and Obama is more likely to change the current political system than McCain. Thanks.
Saying something over and over again and adding "Wake Up" and a bunch of exclamation points to everything you write doesn't make you any more right. It does, however, start to make you sound like a crazy old man.
I've got to keep repeating the truth about our political system because you keep posting your attacks on Obama.
3rd parties can't win until we fix the broken political system. Things like public financing of campaigns, which Obama has supported, would benefit 3rd parties tremendously if enacted fairly.
Vote for the candidate most interested in fixing a broken political system.
Perot would have won if he hadn't suspended his campaign.
I gotta disagree with you! Pro-war is exactly the same as anti-war! Pro-universal healthcare is exactly the same as anti-universal healthcare! Human rights are the same as oppression, truth is the same as falsehood! VOTE 3RD PARTY
Nader can't win cause the corrupt two party system isn't even giving him a chance and they are telling the american people that he can't win and he is a moron, but he can win if one simple thing happens "people vote for him", and if they let him in the debates they will see what he really is but thats what the two parties are afraid of

It's a shame that Nader didn't become a professor instead of a presidential candidate. If he had, George W Bush never would have become president, and our country would have been spared a lot of grief.
Nader supporters, we respect your disdain of the two-party system (and it's a disdain that I share), and Nader's a smart guy, but this election is just too important to make a protest vote. Please consider voting for Obama or McCain in 2008. Support 3rd parties on the state and local level.
Our system was meant to be about voting for who we actually want to see in the white house. Settling for the lesser of two demons or voting out of fear is a ridiculous notion that will just keep us locked into this corrupt two-party system. The more people voting for Nader the more support he gets next time. We shouldn't try to choose the person who scares us the least.
I respect your opinion, but if you are going to vote for Ralph Nader, who will get less than 2% nationally on Election Day and win ZERO electoral votes, you might as well stay home. Your vote for Nader will change nothing. Votes for Nader in 2000 did nothing to change this country, other than probably giving us George W Bush as President.
Do what I do - work for ballot and campaign finance reform on the state and local level, vote for 3rd parties on state level. Support Obama for President.
The thing is McCain and Obama are pretty much the same, unless you want to point out racial differences. They support the same ideas, they were even funded by some of the same corporations, and truthfully I just don't want to choose because there doesn't seem to be any choice. Nader might not win, but I still believe that he is the right candidate. Having to bandwagon to the bigger candidates ultimately means I didn't have a choice to begin with. Which turns this election into a farce.
Actually Nader is polling between 6-10% nationally, is on the ballot in 45% states, and is the only candidate to actually visit all 50 states. If it wasn't for the corrupt two party corporate brothel blocking Nader out of the media, Nader would kick the shit out of Mcbama any day anywhere. Read the Obama Craze by Matt Gonazalez to see what a great guy Obama is, I know I always Love a guy who votes for things like Fisa that take away our civil liberties!
Dont you get it.... Democrats and Republicans are the SAME! No motter who won, it would have been the same. And Nader did not make Gore lose, Gore lost it for himself because 2 million people liked Nader over him!
so when do you support 3rd parties on a federal level? dont even consider mccain or obama. neither one has the ability to lead this country as president.
I do not support 3rd parties on a Federal Level, because they have no chance of winning in our current Electoral and Campaign Finance system. It sucks, but I hate wasting my vote.
Obama would be a pretty good president. He's not perfect, but I know he's more committed to the idea of good government and reforming the political process than John McCain.
obama is no better than mccain and for you or anyone else to think he is, well thats completely absurd. of course a 3rd party cant win not with the mindset you and thousands of others currently display. wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, 3rd parties can't win until we fix the broken political system. Things like public financing of campaigns, which Obama has supported, would benefit 3rd parties tremendously if enacted fairly.
In 2008, there is absolutely zero chance of Nader winning any states, much less the election, so vote for the candidate most interested in fixing a broken political system. If you think that candidate is McCain (Bush II) than I respectfully disagree.
nader cant win because like you the majority of people vote out of fear for either the reps or dems. either that or they know nothing of nader. not a chance I'll vote for obama or mccain. btw you fix the political system with your vote.
Nader can't win in 2008, a third party can't win the political given the current political system, and Obama is more likely to change the current political system than McCain. Thanks.
if obama becomes president he will be the worst president ever and we will never recover to full power. obama is not an america thats why so many in other ocuntry support him and he has e=recieved million from foreigners and cover up ways and now false voters. wake up dumb ass young people
Rothchild Dynasty are enpowered by the alien Goddesses they say. Many know that something is very wrong and believe that there is a conspiracy to enslave the population, but few suspect or dare to discuss that the conspiracy is an Anunnaki one.
Aliens are behind the wars on the planet
The Rothchilds own all the banks and all of the corporate hitlers there control everyone in congress!
if anyone is looking for a foreign policy change with obama, guess again it wont happen. however, at least the iraq war will come to an end, and he is willing to negotiate with iran instead of attacking it. plus let's not forget domestic policy as well, such as the energy crisis, housing crisis, and the horrible economy. plus your vote wont mean anything anyways, unless you live in a battleground state. ohio, virginia, n.m., colorodo, ohio, florida, north carolina. so its about domestic issues.
who me? lol, while its true that obama has ties to the zionist lobby, at least he will be more fair than bush ever was. thats the best we can hope for right now. plus we have to look at domestic issues too when voting, at least he is opposed to the iraq war and has been. until we go after the zionist lobby, and get thier candidated un-elected, there isnt much that we can do.

Wow, I'm heartbroken. This is the first time I've ever seen Ralph Nader tell a lie. Barack Obama takes his campaign contributions EXCLUSIVELY from private citizens. There were some misleading studies from the factcheck website showing that his contributors were employees of companies, adding them up and acting as if he was receiving funds directly from those companies. This is blatant misinformation.
Nader is talking about the max limit of contributions. THose workers of those company's, many of whom paid millions for sky boxes at the Dem. Convention, where told to donate the max because legally that is all they are allowed to do so that those moneys would appear to be from individuals not corporate interests. The truth is as Nader says. Look at the amounts of contributions from the biggest contributers and the company's they work for then you'll se.. Nader is not lying, its a fact.
Is there ANY evidence that the companies told their workers to make such donations? The biggest contributors (aka the only contributors) were private citizens.
That's because "legally" that's what you're supposed to do. They are called loopholes for a reason. Case i point, Obama just had a rally hosted by Barbara Streisand in my home state of California... which raised about 9 million dollars for his campaign. I guarantee there were lots of people there who could shill out that kind of money easily- Babs included- but there are spending caps on donations. Do you really believe that if a company has 60-70% of it's top earners contributing it's legit
9 million for what hundred people donated to obama and lot more secretly and why all the media behind obama think again there is big big bucks behind obama and it's all illegal
obama is getting big money from hollywood and from other countrys who will expect to collect from obama who will be saleing out americas land and riches to other countrys.
Do you work for a company? If you donated money to a cause, do you think that said money should constitute a donation from your employer? If you and a lot of your co-workers donated to the same guy, then should we lump it all together and say it was all corporate money?
You got to understand with these two parties being backed by Big Business they don't plan on loosing. They stacked the playing field with all the players man woman black and white. They covered all the bases. Either way with these two parties you will get the same outcome. Obama will spoon feed it you with a spoonful of sugar and smiles, or Mc Cain will shove it down your throat while he is grinding his teeth.
Thank You. I am a Black Man. A Black Nationalist at that and I agree with Nader. When are people gonna wake up and realize that this man is a Politician. He is not a gift from GOD sent down to save any of us. He is a Human Being breathing air and living the Human Experience just like all of us.
Yes, I'd recognized Obama's concessioner personality as Nader deems it, on my own, *but* if you take a look at McCain's record, you realize we need Obama so that WE'LL have room to breathe. Go forward with even slightly less of a burden of hate and war will allow us to work for the changes we need.
Its much more important for people to wake up from McCain's hate, Nader's obsessiveness and general apathy than from enthusiasm for Obama that too naive!
Wow...What a great speech. Wake up America! You have an opportunity to take back your country from the corporate puppets like Obama. Vote Nader / Gonzalez !

ummm... ya'll, is it just me or does this guy seem like he's working for the republican party? Seriously, McCain is about to start WWIII, and all this guy can go on and on about is what he doesn't like about Obama. Doesn't say one single bad thing about McCain (you'd expect at least one, even in a speech about how much he hates Obama).
If you're registered green, I'd suggest switching to independent. your party just got bought out.

Oh ya, and if you're feeling a little frustrated with politics, I'd suggest youtubing Obama's acceptance speech from tonight. It seemed really honest and from the heart.
and sure Obama talks pretty, but he has no experience. Ralph Nader has been in the game for more than 20 years. And Im sure that Nader criticized McCain just as much as he did Obama (this isn't his whole speech). It's a shame the media can't give third parties equal time on air as they do the two major parties. And untill they do, this country is gonna be ran by more corrupted democrats or ignorant asshole republicans.
Moron, you obviusly don't know who Ralph Nader is. Working for the Republican party?! Nader represents TRUE left-wing ideas; he's FOR equal rights for gays, lesbians and same sex couples, FOR equal rights for women, FOR decriminalization of marijuana, was and and still is against the war in iraq, etc. Does that sound like a your average conservative republican?? As a registered democrat, you bet ima vote for Nader, just like many other registered democrats, indipendents and fed-up republicans
Excuse me,but, unless you have been under a rock for the last 20 years, you'd see that he has issues w/ the Dems&GOP.He's holding anti GOP & anti Dem Rallies in Denver and Minneapolis.Obama is a wolf in sheep's clothing- his rhetoric does not match his voting record. McCain is a wolf in wolf clothing. I feel it is worse to deceive than to be open about your intentions to screw the middle class. When the Dems bring someone like Dennis Kucinich forward, I will vote dem, until then, I'm voting Nader!
Ralph may be right, but I wish I didn't vote for him in '00 and helped get 8 years of Bush. I really doubt a Gore presidency would have ignored the warnings for 9/11, and got us into two wasteful, endless wars....

I agree with nader about obama, except on israel (obama is no riend of israel and the world does not need a palestinean state of hate filled people sworn to kill the jewish people) but the point is why did the american people vote for obama without knowing anything about him even though all this info about him was in the public domaine?

You need elected cabinet members (!) and an independent/unmuzzled civil service.
livegems 2 years ago
@livegems It's not quite like that. The Cabinet has no real power that the president does not. Also, the Senate has to approve before one gets brought in. The problem is that corporations are running the country. That's where the corruption is at.

I kinda like Obama and he had better watch out for the zionist Biden who could be a repeat of how the Israeli jews had JFK killed because he wouldn't allow Israel to have nuclear weapons which was the same policy as Eisenhower. Once that paid stooge of the jews LBJ was put into the presidency the jews then got their nuclear weapons along with every single thing they wanted. I'm not saying LBJ was part of the JFK killing but he likely knew it was in the works because the jews had to find a way

mad3moyer 3 years ago 4
I'm an obama supporter but I agree with Nader when he says that Obama needs to be more firm with certain issues. Maybe he kept quiet and was being agreeable in order to win votes, maybe it's what his campaign told him to do, because he seemed very pro palestinian before. Good news is Obama won over McCain but will he deliver? I think he will but we just have to wait and see.

LOL! "this vital information"?! He is lying about the corporate money. Obama has the same % of coporate money than Nader. Look it up on opensecrets . org
madashelldude 3 years ago
Does anyone know of one Senator who does not take corporate money? Obama received more corporate money than any presidential candidate in history. The Dems needed to put a new face on on their party. Obama will turn out to be a bigger scam than Clinton was. "Placebo liberals" are the only candidates offered up by the corrupt Democratic party. We need a real representative of the people to be in the White House. If Diogenes were still in search of the "honest man" he would find him in Ralph.
starramus 3 years ago
madashelldude 3 years ago
One of the way the Nader camp spins his lack of support as opposed to Obama is just hilarious but it calls employee donations "corporate money". ie. just because I am an employee of a private or public corporation, my donation to my candidate is called by the Nader camp "corporate money. An easy way to debunk this is to go to fundrace . huffingtonpost . com and look up the top corporate donors to a candidate and see what percent is upper management and what % is just regular employees.
madashelldude 3 years ago 2
what's most ridiculous is when you look up Halliburton it looks like they donated more to Obama than McCain as a corporation until you go to huffingtonpost and realize that truckdrivers and regular employees are the major part of the "corporate donation"
madashelldude 3 years ago
Madashell you need to dig a little deeper. Is George Soros an individual or corporate contributor? And how many multi-billionaires and multi-millionaires feathered Obama's coffers? Big money supported Obama for big money needs a "kinder and gentler face". And once again they have control of the executive branch of the government. Obama will cut more social spending than he initiates. Time will tell.
starramus 3 years ago
Once again the electorate have been scammed by a Democratic phoney liberal. Republicans and Democrats are the problem and not the solution. For it is they and they alone who have taken us to the dire straits that America inhabits. We need real change!
starramus 3 years ago
I assume you claim that you somehow dig deeper than I, but in that case can you come up with actual figures to counter my numbers?! Im open to some healthy skepticism about the Democratic Party and Obama but to take what Nader says without any critical thought strikes me as dogmatic and not befitting to progressives. If you look into bundling and how bundlers circumvent limits you'll find a lot of billionaire money going into the system that way. But that's only about 10% of the $600 million.
madashelldude 3 years ago
Nader doesn't have that problem because bundling occurs at the tail end of campaigns when donors start to bump into their $4600 upper limit. i agree that it's a bad practice and it should be stopped but to say that Obama is corrupt because he doesn't refuse this money ignores the political reality of the US system: if you actively refuse corporate money you can't get airtime in corporate media and that's that: you can't compete. I give O the benefit of the doubt and believe he will change this
madashelldude 3 years ago
We already hear "sacrifice" interspersed throughout Obama's speeches. We shall soon hear pleas for sacrifice to balance a budget that has gone more awry than any time in history. The lowwer classes will shoulder the burden of paying for the largesse and excesses of their rulers. While fools like madashell applaud those who have run off with the keys to the treaury get ready to tighten your already to tight belts. The ruling class have run off with the pig and we will be stuck with the bill.
starramus 3 years ago
Do you have any more figures juggled by the Democratic Party? You can most definitely insert them into your posterior. (big smiley)
starramus 3 years ago
LOL, you remind me of my republican friends: when faced with facts they change the subject & either ignore them or call them "partisan". Sorry, but facts are facts: stubborn little things.
again go 2 fec . gov and opensecrets . org
Perhaps your dear leader is not Jesus after all and he might spin the facts every now and then, have you ever thought about that possibility?! Or how about the possibility that he is a mole payed by the FBI?! u c, I can make shit up just as easy, facts r important
madashelldude 3 years ago
Ahhhh so you admit to having Republican friends. It is no secret that the Dems And Repubs work together to frisk the populace. Gee Obama himself refuses to impeach his comrade Bush. "Facts" are to be questioned. Who is that manufactured these facts? Chomsky's and Herman's "Manufacturing Consent" come to mind. Of course the corporate media will furnish the necessary "facts" to sustain the propaganda model. I will check your "facts" and furnish something of more substance.
starramus 3 years ago
We have had the courage not to choose the "lesser of two evils", but instead to have laid hands on the good. "Hold your heads up" is uplifting reading at the Nader site.
starramus 3 years ago
What you need to look at now is how Obama has loaded up his cabinet & top posts with staunch Zionists, Bilderbergers, Tri-Lateral Commission people,AIPAC stooges, and of course members of CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). Meet the new boss...same as the old boss. Yes, you certainly do need to dig a little deeper, thankyou. You've been distracted by the money, while you should have concentrated on power.
PaulMagillSmith 3 years ago 5
what you need to do is learn something about your own country's history especially between 1932 and 68. When you do, name the US president who didn't do all the things you accuse Obama of. Then go over the election results state by state and see who voted Obama into office. He is not doing anything he wasn't expected to. When you and your fellow americans are as well informed as europeans perhaps you will elect a socialist like Norway or Finland does, until then you are citizens of an empire.
szatmar666 3 years ago 2
Did I say "citizens of an empire"?! oops my bad! I meant "prisoners" of course ;)
szatmar666 3 years ago 6
Who said the people of this 'empire' elect anyone. The fascists make sure the dice are loaded, and only the approved candidates, willing to kiss corporate Americas ass are 'selected' to run. A scam & sham are what most Americans buy as democracy now in these rigged elections. If Obama hadn't been 'selected' to continue the same old same old, and sold his soul to the behind the scenes big dogs who pull the strings, he would be facing assassination rather than innauguration.
PaulMagillSmith 3 years ago 25
I don't see it that way. I did the numbers and read Greg Palast and RFK Jr. The reason 5-6 million votes were not stolen this time was 2 fold:
1. the OH court hearing Mike Connell had to testify 2 days before the election, he was killed since then.
for more see
velvetrevolution . us
2. the financial meltdown got the Rove machine with pants down and they lost districts that they didn't have time to rig because they were considered reliable republican districts.
szatmar666 3 years ago
It's a damn shame Mike Connell was assassinated. How much coverage has his death gotten in the MSM, little to nothing of course despite being the most important witness against the corrupt 'system' in at least a decade. It did send a message to other potential 'whistleblowers'...keep your trap shut or we will kill you.
PaulMagillSmith 3 years ago
Yeah, but you see, the elections are a great proof of Obama's brilliance: the reason he won as because he got the votes of a lot of people who voted for Bush twice before. I call them Colin Powell republicans. Without them Rove would have probably stolen this one too. So I would think twice before making assumptions about Obama's triangulation and appointments. I will wait until the end of 2009 to judge him.

Support 3rd parties on the state and local level.
themango90 3 years ago
Our system was meant to be about voting for who we actually want to see in the white house. Settling for the lesser of two demons or voting out of fear is a ridiculous notion that will just keep us locked into this corrupt two-party system. The more people voting for Nader the more support he gets next time. We shouldn't try to choose the person who scares us the least.
PantyRaidProductions 3 years ago 3
I respect your opinion, but if you are going to vote for Ralph Nader, who will get less than 2% nationally on Election Day and win ZERO electoral votes, you might as well stay home. Your vote for Nader will change nothing. Votes for Nader in 2000 did nothing to change this country, other than probably giving us George W Bush as President.
Do what I do - work for ballot and campaign finance reform on the state and local level, vote for 3rd parties on state level. Support Obama for President.
themango90 3 years ago

Read the Obama Craze by Matt Gonazalez to see what a great guy Obama is, I know I always Love a guy who votes for things like Fisa that take away our civil liberties!
ebeljm 3 years ago
Dont you get it.... Democrats and Republicans are the SAME! No motter who won, it would have been the same. And Nader did not make Gore lose, Gore lost it for himself because 2 million people liked Nader over him!

so when do you support 3rd parties on a federal level? dont even consider mccain or obama. neither one has the ability to lead this country as president.
hawk100375 3 years ago
I do not support 3rd parties on a Federal Level, because they have no chance of winning in our current Electoral and Campaign Finance system. It sucks, but I hate wasting my vote.
Obama would be a pretty good president. He's not perfect, but I know he's more committed to the idea of good government and reforming the political process than John McCain.
themango90 3 years ago
obama is no better than mccain and for you or anyone else to think he is, well thats completely absurd. of course a 3rd party cant win not with the mindset you and thousands of others currently display. wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hawk100375 3 years ago
No, 3rd parties can't win until we fix the broken political system. Things like public financing of campaigns, which Obama has supported, would benefit 3rd parties tremendously if enacted fairly.
In 2008, there is absolutely zero chance of Nader winning any states, much less the election, so vote for the candidate most interested in fixing a broken political system. If you think that candidate is McCain (Bush II) than I respectfully disagree.
There is a clear difference. This is not 2000.
themango90 3 years ago
nader cant win because like you the majority of people vote out of fear for either the reps or dems. either that or they know nothing of nader. not a chance I'll vote for obama or mccain. btw you fix the political system with your vote.
hawk100375 3 years ago
Ok, guess I have to say it again:
Nader can't win in 2008, a third party can't win the political given the current political system, and Obama is more likely to change the current political system than McCain. Thanks.

if anyone is looking for a foreign policy change with obama, guess again it wont happen. however, at least the iraq war will come to an end, and he is willing to negotiate with iran instead of attacking it. plus let's not forget domestic policy as well, such as the energy crisis, housing crisis, and the horrible economy. plus your vote wont mean anything anyways, unless you live in a battleground state. ohio, virginia, n.m., colorodo, ohio, florida, north carolina. so its about domestic issues.
xgotfiveonitx 3 years ago
I think we know everything you just said is bullshit.
Directinglegend 3 years ago
who me? lol, while its true that obama has ties to the zionist lobby, at least he will be more fair than bush ever was. thats the best we can hope for right now. plus we have to look at domestic issues too when voting, at least he is opposed to the iraq war and has been. until we go after the zionist lobby, and get thier candidated un-elected, there isnt much that we can do.

This is blatant misinformation.
uberjim83 3 years ago
Nader is talking about the max limit of contributions. THose workers of those company's, many of whom paid millions for sky boxes at the Dem. Convention, where told to donate the max because legally that is all they are allowed to do so that those moneys would appear to be from individuals not corporate interests. The truth is as Nader says. Look at the amounts of contributions from the biggest contributers and the company's they work for then you'll se.. Nader is not lying, its a fact.
damianpaonejazz 3 years ago 3
Is there ANY evidence that the companies told their workers to make such donations? The biggest contributors (aka the only contributors) were private citizens.
uberjim83 3 years ago
That's because "legally" that's what you're supposed to do. They are called loopholes for a reason. Case i point, Obama just had a rally hosted by Barbara Streisand in my home state of California... which raised about 9 million dollars for his campaign. I guarantee there were lots of people there who could shill out that kind of money easily- Babs included- but there are spending caps on donations. Do you really believe that if a company has 60-70% of it's top earners contributing it's legit
cGeer15 3 years ago
I guess that's a "no" to the evidence question. All you're providing is more accusations.
uberjim83 3 years ago
9 million for what hundred people donated to obama and lot more secretly and why all the media behind obama think again there is big big bucks behind obama and it's all illegal
tomanyasses 3 years ago
obama is getting big money from hollywood and from other countrys who will expect to collect from obama who will be saleing out americas land and riches to other countrys.
tomanyasses 3 years ago
you shouldn't be heartbroken at all.
do you know what the term "bundling" means? look it up. please. obama takes corporate money.
love, ellen.
ellenloveseverything 3 years ago 2
Do you work for a company? If you donated money to a cause, do you think that said money should constitute a donation from your employer? If you and a lot of your co-workers donated to the same guy, then should we lump it all together and say it was all corporate money?

no he doesnt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got to understand with these two parties being backed by Big Business they don't plan on loosing. They stacked the playing field with all the players man woman black and white. They covered all the bases. Either way with these two parties you will get the same outcome. Obama will spoon feed it you with a spoonful of sugar and smiles, or Mc Cain will shove it down your throat while he is grinding his teeth.
onlyonedeb2000 3 years ago 3
The two party puppetdent parade is a farce. It's a Jew World Order and people have no choice but to get dragged along.
They need to get out and run for office, change it from within.

How can I find the 3000 word essay on Obama Matt Gonzales wrote? I've searched it on the website of Nader, but can't find it!
Thank you

Thank You. I am a Black Man. A Black Nationalist at that and I agree with Nader. When are people gonna wake up and realize that this man is a Politician. He is not a gift from GOD sent down to save any of us. He is a Human Being breathing air and living the Human Experience just like all of us.
TheMORALE 3 years ago 3
Yes, I'd recognized Obama's concessioner personality as Nader deems it, on my own, *but* if you take a look at McCain's record, you realize we need Obama so that WE'LL have room to breathe. Go forward with even slightly less of a burden of hate and war will allow us to work for the changes we need.
Its much more important for people to wake up from McCain's hate, Nader's obsessiveness and general apathy than from enthusiasm for Obama that too naive!

ummm... ya'll, is it just me or does this guy seem like he's working for the republican party? Seriously, McCain is about to start WWIII, and all this guy can go on and on about is what he doesn't like about Obama. Doesn't say one single bad thing about McCain (you'd expect at least one, even in a speech about how much he hates Obama).
If you're registered green, I'd suggest switching to independent. your party just got bought out.

Oh ya, and if you're feeling a little frustrated with politics, I'd suggest youtubing Obama's acceptance speech from tonight. It seemed really honest and from the heart.
mytealjacket 3 years ago
and sure Obama talks pretty, but he has no experience.
GoChokeOn1 3 years ago 7
Moron, you obviusly don't know who Ralph Nader is. Working for the Republican party?! Nader represents TRUE left-wing ideas; he's FOR equal rights for gays, lesbians and same sex couples, FOR equal rights for women, FOR decriminalization of marijuana, was and and still is against the war in iraq, etc. Does that sound like a your average conservative republican?? As a registered democrat, you bet ima vote for Nader, just like many other registered democrats, indipendents and fed-up republicans
GoChokeOn1 3 years ago 7
Excuse me,but, unless you have been under a rock for the last 20 years, you'd see that he has issues w/ the Dems&GOP.He's holding anti GOP & anti Dem Rallies in Denver and Minneapolis.Obama is a wolf in sheep's clothing- his rhetoric does not match his voting record. McCain is a wolf in wolf clothing. I feel it is worse to deceive than to be open about your intentions to screw the middle class. When the Dems bring someone like Dennis Kucinich forward, I will vote dem, until then, I'm voting Nader!
