Good Lord. This lady is a reasonably good singer but she needs to learn how to not over-emote. The vocals are just packed with cheese... I couldn't stop wincing. Just sing the song. No need to sing like Tina Turner. It's a gentle song.

From what I can see, the keyboardist has a couple of synths in his setup...with piano instead of the 'Tron sounds, this version lacks the original's majestic power... however a credible attempt... good luck in the future.

yeah i gotta go with Eggles on this one but it isnt beats per minute thats making it seem fast. Its the singer attacking stead of rounding and softening the phrases. I bet if they brought it to a whispered prayer they could own this tune the talents definitely there. It was just Nirvana-like is all.

_____Gonna go "Old Codger" on this one... Dang youngsters, y'all are doin' it wrong! Every time I hear a young 'un try an' tackle this classic, they always take it TOO FAST! Slow an' easy does it, like the original. The ORIGINAL, dang it, they did it right! King Crimson did it right the first time and always will. Maybe if y'all done slowed up a bit and lowered yer voice from caterwaul to cool an' downed the tempo, ya'd get somethin' done. Darned youngsters, always movin' too danged fast.

I mean...King Crimson is King Crimson, I LOVE the band and this song like on the album, but we're NOT King Crimson and that's not a goal to play like them, and we're not a King Crimson cover band anyway.

So please everyone enjoy this version like it is, I think everyone's doing a great job on it. If you really want to hear the original, listen to the album and you'll be way more happy than watching a band doing it's own interpretation of it.
