Man, my 25yo stock SD-1 will have your modded one for breakfast. I guess yours may have more clarity, but with the gain nearly on 3 mine has a LOT more gain & sustain than yours... If that's the sound you like you should get a Tube Screamer.

Hi, I have OLD OD-9 of MAXON(=TS9 of Ibanez) I love that sound.

This demo is not good. When the sond is louder, the overdrive sound of SD-1 is farther better

Electrical cercuit of of OD-1 Is Original. However, Volume pod is changed, because it was broken.
