Fairly good song of a suck ass anime. It's a real disappointment that despite all the lovely female characters (Yurika, Ruri, and all the girls) and the typical romantic links between them, the whole plot of the series is so damn confusing, fucking boring as hell and way over the top. And the final episode doesn't make sense at all.

As Michello Chariot once said in G Gundam Abridged by IDLITStudios, "IT'S ANIME! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO MAKE SENSE!" Nadesico was trying to attract viewers from as many fan bases as possible, from cutesy moe (mo-EH) characters to hotblooded super robot action. And you know what? It worked!

It didn't make sense when I was a kid either. But now that I grow up & re-watch it, I'm amazed at the complexity & issues it dealt with. This was never meant to be just a simple, clear, relaxing drama. The confusion is there on purpose, intended to make viewer question & think. Afterall, war is never easy to understand either. It does make sense, it's just complicated and require deep thinking. If u think Nadesico's confusing, try Evangelion-now that's a real headhache!

Agreed, I think Evangelion is awesome! Though it's 100 time more darker than the Nadesico.

@Yumise So true, I re-watched both Nadesico and Evangelion last year and the difference from when I was a teenager and now (I was 24 when I watched them again) was quite amazing. I still don't COMPLETELY understand episodes 25 & 26 of Eva though....
