2 things. Putting the ball bearing in is a pain! Also removing the ignition without a key, is probably the least fun I've had in my locksmithing career. Not really. But just sayin. It's tough!
@rainmakerjgc Thanks very much for sharing your experience. I am grateful to know that other professionals like myself are utilizing modern technology to assist them in the performance of their work. Thank you for viewing my channel.
i have all of the required components , i just do not know how to place them all in there, can you make a video of it , i have a 2000 ford F-150, thank you for all of your help
@tomn160 Thanks for viewing my channel. Some situations are more critical than others. First you have to verify that you have ALL components that connect between the Ignition lock cylinder and the Housing, where the gear rack that drives the ignition switch mates with the pinion gear that attaches to the ignition lock cylinder. If you are not familiar with the required components, please consult with your local Locksmith. I don't want to help create a hazard. Thanks again for watching.
So we have customers names, addresses, vin numbers, key cuts, telephone numbers..........................a lawsuit in the making. Too bad you're not as concerned about your customers safety and security as you are with attempting to impress the world with your abilities.

It's been about 7 years since I had to replace an ignition switch on a ford. Thanks for refreshing my memory.
