  • Thank you for the compliment. We do not sell pigeons. We enjoy the flying of them especially long distance races.

  • beuatiful bird........

  • @jrdongs23 Thank you

  • @leniebb do you sell your pigeon.sir.? and how much.?

  • When the pigeons are on the nest it is a good time to let them out. We have homing pigeons so this might be a bit different.

If they don't come back you have to find the loft they belonged to before and pick them up. Hope this anwers your question.

  • If you have a new pigoen called roller pigeons and yu just got them and you had them for like 3 months and the female already lay eggs...would they still come back or would they still fly away?

  • @rickyvaj1 If you get a new pigeon 3 month old? He might go beck to the previous owner. You might have to go and bring it back to your loft a few times before it is used to your lof. Having it on eggs might do the trick and it will stay. Good luck.

  • @leniebb

Thnx for the help...the male stayed but not female so im looking for a breed for him

  • @rickyvaj1 The female went back to the person you bought the pigeon from. Go and find out if that is the case. The female might do this a few times but eventually she homes to your loft. This happens a lot so don't get discouraged.

  • @rickyvaj1 3 months is not guaranteed stay. If it was a juvenile bird it would likely stay, but if it was adult it might go back to original owner. To be safe when I get new birds, I keep them in for about 5 months, after they establish a relationship & begin nesting. That will help them want to remain at your cote. Also it makes a difference if you put them in with a flock that is established, or if they are alone. They will tend to stay more with the flock & return with the flock.

  • Nice job training ur pigeons to trap!

  • nice vid. thanks. So Bird cleanliness. I have a large cage and boxes that are 18" by 24". Because they nest in there droppings and they feed their young they aren't the most "photogenic". Also (I have white fantails) their feathers become a mess. What can I do? I provide a mist for them to play in and a large pan of water. Still, only a few bathe. Any ideas? I'm a noobie. Thanks.

  • umm when i let go of my pigeons they go perch on the trees hah and cant seem to get them down

  • @WackChannel101 It is very important that you are the boss in the loft. You control the birds by the amount of feed you give them.If you call the birds in by whistling or calling, they should come in the loft within 20 seconds.Only the birds who listen to your call get fed. Take the tray away and do not feed any of the latecomers till next day. They will be early the next day. Good luck.

  • @leniebb kk thanks but only let the speekers go right and do not let the breeders fly right??

  • @WackChannel101 This counts for all the birds. Control them by their feed. If you have breeders that have never been out you have to keep them inside.

  • @leniebb oh ok thanks for your tips on trapping

  • get a riffle gun

  • It is very hard to protect your pigeons from hawks. Our pigeons do not get out in the winter because the hawks are very active during that time.

When they are let out in the spring there is always one of us outside with them. The hawks will usually not attack when someone is outside.

    Hope this answers your guestion.

  • i have a question..how do you train your pigeons to trap or to even go in the loft?? get at me

  • The answer is in the video. When they are small you do what it shows on the video. The birds know you and they will let you quide them inside.
