I know you posted this video a long time ago, but I appreciate it as my GSD is facing amputation of one of her front legs after being hit by a semi truck last week. Thanks for posting what a GSD can do with just 3 legs
@marcjoster Sorry to hear about your pup. Please visit the TRIPAWDS (dot-com) blogs and discussion forums for much more inspiration and lots of recovery and care tips, advice and support.
Its good that dog still can run allmost normal!! best wishes for your gsd, its so bad to see a dog with some injures, ir illness... my last dog (breed : alabai) had a cancer, and i had to eutanize her on 12 yrs old.... thats was so so so painfull to watch her in pain when climing stairs up home so hard some time even fall down, on the end month we only hat to lift her up stairs all the time... ; / now i got gsd seems like healthy accept some strange dot on eye....i adopted this gsd, at 1,5 yrs..
Further to last - we hope to be able to do a chronicle of our pup - her development from 'day one' so to speak - so maybe people will appreciate these wonders more - and those that have 'less than perfect' pups will re-consider having them 'put down' before they have been able to get up!
Glad you like jerry's videos! Be sure to check out his TRIPAWDS website for much more information, health tips, videos, photos, resources and discussion forums all about cancer dogs and other canine amputees ... because all dogs are born with three legs and a spare! ;-) Thanks for the comment.
That's exactly why we set up the Tripawd blogs, where you can set up a free blog to share your three legged dog adventures. Just visit the TRIPAWDS website and click on "Sign Up" in the header. We look forward to hearing more!
HI - WONDERFUL TO FIND THIS CLIP! I have just a grandpuppy born a fortnight ago with one front leg missing at the elbow. I am lucky - one of my previous' litter parents adpted the pup before even seeing her -mind made up on the way over when pup was not even a week old! We spent 4-5 hours that night looking for clips like this (to prove to partner away in army) that they are just as good - if not better in some ways! Thankyou for this clip!!!
i was raised in mason city Iowa when i was 7 years old i got a half doberman half pincer half rottweiler half sheppard but I'm 21 years old now my old dog died he was 100 years old in dog years. next month on June 12 is my birthday i will be 22. i have a new baby German sheppard but i can't lift him any more i bought him on a farm in the barn with hay i gave $225.00 for him. my mom had a rottweiler and she lived for 10 years...

Yup, right by the Lake shore. This town has three dog parks, that we found.
