I just talked to a T-Mobile representative on the phone and when I asked her when this phone is coming out (in the US) she said she never even heard of it? WTF?
Good so this has better CPU than the iphone 3g 620 MHz underclocked to 412 MHz. Im buying it in a year if there no other better by then in march 2010.
I don't think it's announced for the U.S yet. But if it does come out in the U.S, it will definitely be for T-Mobile exclusively. I want this phone so bad!
Then why did the FCC clear the Galaxy for T-Mobile 3G? T-Mobile said that they would be the main supporter and supplier for Android phones, so naturally they would have the most. Get your facts straight.
Yes, I think it will be able to work on both the 2g network and the 3g network provided by T-Mobile. Its supposed to come with 1700mHz and 2100mHz that is required to work on the T-Mobile 3g; and for 2g its supposed to come with 850, 900, 1800, and 1900mHz. And even if it doesn't get announced in America you could probably find it on ebay, when it does come out.

doesn't seem to be touchscreen... while i agree its powerful better than the iphone in terms of features, touch-screen allows you to quickly open up an app just by tapping directly on an icon without having to scroll around the screen... i think i'm gonna go with htc magic because you can either touchscreen or use d-pad (track ball) despite the lack of led flash...
anyone can. from what I understand it's like jailbraking the iphone.. and after that you are home free. it shouldn't be too hard. there will be many walkthroughs any way
Thats why the Nokia N85 & N86 both use it. Samsung is the LARGEST manufacturer of AMOLED screens so the mobile devision that makes phones is taking full advantage of it.
It looks awesome, but I agree that the d-pad is such a waste. I wish the reviewer would of used the touch screen so we could all see just how responsive that little AMOLED is. Good video though.
agreed, the responsiveness of the touchscreen has to be the make or break. although itll probably be successfull just because of the 3.5mm jack and the hottness
Hey it has bluetooth 2.1 not 2.0 at the begining it says 2.0

I think the pre is a little bit too small, the keyboard is useless if you are in landscape mode with the pre.

you can activate it. they can't do it out of the box because they'd have problems with apple

It's an AMOLED screen, that's why it looks so vivid.
