  • Give the guy who said "ALL OF 'EM!" a cigar! He deserves one! 8D

  • just out of curosity how many times has a contestant won on the very frist try in switcheroo?

  • And one perfect Switcheroo from the first try in 2000 was recently posted. Bob was always changing those "Historic moments" during his final few seasons on the show.

  • Frenchfry147--

Tom Kennedy was a game show host best remembered for hosting "Split Second" and "Name that Tune" in the '70s and '80s; he was personally hand-picked by Bob Barker to host the new night time version before it started taping in mid 1985.

  • 4 seconds bonkers (6 seconds with running for bell). I'm not sure i took 6second playing bonkers on PC....

  • Who the fuck is Tom Kennedy and who is the idiot daring to say that he is a better host than Bob Barker?

  • Sometimes i think they just make up dates in their head.

  • @Mileneum69 You're right! He does make these up.

  • rightbackatu--

1984 isn't right; in fact, the first time Switcheroo was won on the first try was on the nighttime show with Tom Kennedy in 1985.

  • Congrats to the girl from ASU!

  • This also happened on the Tom Kennedy version in 1985.

  • Haven't watched TPIR in years, but after watching this, the guy saying ALL OF 'EM, hw was RIGHT and she won all 5 Prizes in Switcheroo

    AMAZING

But the Perfect Switcheroo moment will ALWAYS be from the Tom Kennedy Era and that will NEVER be Duplicated and it was also The 1st PERFECT Switcheroo that I ever saw

I also prefer Dennis James and Tom Kennedy over Bob and Drew Carey, and nothing againt the New Models, but Janice, Holly, Katheleen and Chantel will always be THE PRICE IS RIGHT

  • ALL OF 'EM!!!! LOL

  • 1984? Theres another clip of Switchy won on the first try from 01!

  • @rightbackatu i know. i was just gonna mention that

  • ALL OF EM! AWESOME!!!!

  • that was funny when some guy shouted, "ALL OF 'EM!

  • Well, I'm not so sure about the Switcheroo one. Bob mentioned it being the first time since 1984 that the contestant won all five right away. However, in either 1985 or 1986, somebody did that in that same game on the short-lived nighttime syndicated version hosted by Tom Kennedy.

  • wHAT WAS THE price of that BONKERS game was it ever told?

  • I forgot about Five pricetags

  • How the hell does he rememebr all these years and dates??

  • @Mileneum69 He was just joking on that second one. Bonkers wasn't around then...

  • @Mileneum69 : because he is the KING of this show he MADE it what it is today

  • @Mileneum69 Do not question the all-knowing Bob Barker. Your mortal mind can't handle the epicness

  • ALL OF EM!!!! NICE!

  • Is Switcheroo the only car pricing game to have small prizes included?

  • no. there's also Master Key, Pathfinder, and Five Pricetags. And if you want to include retired pricing games, On The Spot.

  • Love it when Bob asks how many does she have right and an audience member yells "all of em"!!!! Love it.... thats what makes the Price is Right so awesome...everybody gets into it...

  • Gameshowboy, you wrote "It's amazing how Bob and Roger remember this". Just to be clear, what they say isn't really true. For instance, take Bonkers. Bob said that hasn't happened since 1976. Bonkers didn't even exist until 2001. Also, Bob numerously told contestants they were the first person to lose on the first prize in Cliff Hangers or got an exact price on all 3 prizes in Cliff Hangers.

I just want to make sure you know that Bob's historical moments aren't always true.

  • I don't think Bob was referring to the Bonkers game specifically. I think he meant that two pricing games (whichever ones were played) hadn't been won so fast consecutively since 1976.

  • Still, what Bob said is most likely not correct. Bob (and Roger) usually made up these records, and virtually all of these facts are incorrect.

  • couldnt have been because bonkers isnt that old.....it was born much after 1976

  • does that guy say all of them at :12?

  • yes he does and yes she did

  • Imagine if that was Roger.

  • taylor is in the record books now i blieve.....

  • The A.S.U. Chick is H.O.T.

  • Has a Switcheroo player ever got "0" on the first try, and then "5" on the second?

  • not that i know of.

  • Yes, there's a video on it somewhere.

  • Here's the clip for the 0 to 5

  • Yes it has. It happened on October 27, 1993. Trust me it's on Youtube.

  • Love Bob and his historic moments!

  • lol he's good with dates

  • The date of that episode was May 25, 2005.

  • I crack up every time I hear "ALL OF EM!"

  • @Tkreft1128 So do I. It reminds of when contestant Ed McDevitt won $10,000 on Ron Ely's "Face the Music" by identifying Sammy Davis, Jr. with just one song title and his baby picture. The audience began to cheer even before Ron told Ed he was right!

  • @Tkreft1128 lol...I guess I'm not the only person who noticed that

  • That dude was bad ass on that call too.

  • 1976 Bonkers didn't exist in 1976

  • That's not what he means. He means that two games were won on the first time in a row and the last time it happened was 1976.

  • @nextbarker : he meant to perfect games in a row

  • @nextbarker Just part of his humor!

  • I could hear an audience member call out "All of 'em!". He was right!

  • Let me guess: 4 seconds was the time for that Bonkers win. I timed it using the YouTube clock, and it came to 5 seconds.

  • Actually, if you clock to the closest 1/1000th second, then you would have an ET of 05"265 (24"735 remaining)

  • That Bonkers clip is so weird.

  • And why do you say that?

  • It is that I have not seen a quick win at all.
