holy crap. I heard about people using balls of tin foil to texture but I couldn't think how it would look good then you did it and I was like *jaw hits floor* OMG IT LOOKS SO REAL? HOW THE?!....Magic. Witchcraft I TELL YE. hah :D Going to try this as soon as my clay arrive! :D

@Danuliq952 The first one is basically a pastel and it's to shave and put the powder on the clay to color it.

The second one is mixing two pastels together in TOS (Translucent liquid Sculpy) to make a chocolate sauce to decorate the cookie. ^^; I hope this helped!

I always find it easier to use the tip pointed acrylic paints for the choco sauce. Whenever I use liquid polymer mixed it doesn't spread enough or seems to bake to clear even if I put a ton of color in it. But it's a wonderful video otherwise, I accidentally used a makeup wire sponge and got almost same affect because don't have tinfoil.

not sure if this has been asked, sorry if it has. on the pastel part, will it bake into the clay or do you use any sealant on the cookie? does it come off at all once baked? just curious, it's been MANY years since i've messed with polymer clay, at least 17 years! lol

@xxxNOIRxxx Yes it will bake on the clay and it usually wont come off. However, if you want to ensure that it lasts I recommend glazing it. I all really depends on how rough you are with the charm. I'm glad you are getting back into polymer clay! It is a lovely craft = )

You know you don't have to scrape off the pastel, right? you can just keep it in its container and swirl your brush on top of the pastel. It works just as great, without the mess!
