I am really a great fan of your work long time ago, as you are always impressive, ending your lesson with a proverb or saying, using emotions and surprises, changing the way of presenting, are good ways to teach and attract students. however, I've one Q (does the word "mature" have more than one pronunciation?cuz my Cambridge dictionary doesnt give me (machore),it gives me (matoore)as P.by the end of my talk, allow me to say,Mr.Dancun, you are a great teacher

I like to much your videos!!!!!

  • In a sentence where you express the size of the mistake. 'I made a big mistake'' or, 'What a big mistake I made', and, 'It was rather a large mistake'. Or the opposite... 'Its only a little mistake', 'Its only a small mistake', 'Its only a tiny mistake.

  • hi from nepal, good job!

  • Last year I made a "brave" decision to learn English, especially words in extreme range. And Mr Duncan is doing a great work according to me- His language is so clear and gramatically correct, but on the other hand He is not airy-fairy using his language skills. I,ve noticed that there are lesson concerning as well language itself as everyday situations (such as performing in front of audience) and I find it both useful and fascinating. All the best Mr Duncan! Good job!

  • hi Misterduncan, at the risk of being labelled pedantic I´d like to point out that there is a little mistake at 3:45 in your vid about "making mistakes". lol. It should be "language" instead of "langauge". Although it´s only a typo it may cause confusion among us non-native speakers. :-) Thanks for taking the trouble to make such fantastic vids for us! :-) APPLAUSE! 5 stars from Germany. :-)

  • Hi !

    I'm typing from Portugal!

:)you're so funny ! I really love all your videos I've been watching them, cause I've found that I got seriously dificulties to learn english...! I do a lot confusion in the grammar...! but I am able to understand everything ...! :), by the way, I feel it's hard for me to listening, I mean as long as it making sense ...! I still prefer british accent than american accent ...! is so confused...!

(I must have done a lot of mistakes on this coment lol...! )

  • Hiya, nice job so far.

French here, speaking of mistakes I guess I couldn't let this one go unnoticed.

Faux pas. With an s. Faux par would rather mean "false by" e.g. false by intent... Is that what you did Misterduncan? :-)

  • Yes you are correct. It is ironic that I typed that wrong. However on my original script the spelling is 'pas'. We are familiar with 'Pas de deux'. It is certainly not an unknown word here. Yes it was a mistake and not intended! (Misterduncan)

  • A good job sir , You are best the best as English teacher!!!

  • HI Mr Duncan!

Thanks for mention our MYANMAR in your new friend lists. But your pronounce MYANMAR is different to us :), I think MYAN can't prononce in english,u can pronounce like MUM_MAR,but it is not important, u can pronounce as you like.I would like to know is how many days need to be completed one lesson. You did all works(actor,director,Editior,producer.....) by one?Hoping next wonderful lesson!Have a nice day!

  • Thank you! Yes We tend to pronounce Myanmar with the 'my' or 'me' sounds. It takes in total around 4 days to make a complete lesson. I do all the work, including writing, filming, editing and I even make most of the music myself too. Thanks for the comments EVERYONE!! (Misterduncan)

    Huge thanks for u ...man..!!

  • [To err is human, to forgive is divine.] Could you give me an example sentense ?

  • This sentence is a proverb. We could use it as a way of making a point. Maybe someone will not forgive you for your mistake, so you will say this proverb to them. Hopefully the other person will realise that they should forgive you. After all, forgiveness is divine! Divine means 'special' or 'unique'. In its old form it was related to having God-like qualities. (Misterduncan)

  • Now I see! Thank you!

  • I like very much step when you say hello for contries specially for morocco good job..
