  • Ive got the Stanton st150s going into the ttm57sl, and the stanton dont have a ground output, how do i do the grounding in that situation?

  • thanks

    dude

  • thanks very well explained

  • What's man good video just wondering if you know what my problem is. When nothing playing it will move to 48 give or take as soon as I turn music on it goes all the way to the right.

  • How Do you switch dj's?

  • what bout calibratin on cdj's?

  • VERY nice tutorial.

  • dude thanks man!!! This helps a lot. I've been using my serato but didn't realize I calibrated wrong. Can't wait to get home and do it the right way....

  • Thanx man!

  • hey bro, I have an issue with my calibration... it doesnt show!!! The scopes and the treshold dont show when I go to "set up"... The songs load, but they wont play...I went to set up to see if could be my needles, but the two boxes where the circles are suppose to be arent there.... I am using a mac Powerbook.... Do you know why I am having this issue by any chance?

  • I have a cdj800 and all serato does is make static noise and yes I did set it up properly, all my calibration does is go all the way to the far left to -72 dec, any tips? Kinda of a disapointment when you spend 600$ on sumthing that doesnt work

  • Thanks for the video. All your videos are very helpful. Thanks.

My question is that when I hit the estimate button, my metter goes to the right. WHY? What would happen if I manually set the metter at 48? Thanks for the help.

  • hey man, what about when you hit the estimate button and it stays to the far right and doesn't move? it just started doing this on me out the blue. my grounds are hooked up to the sl3 and the connection is solid as always. i have no idea wtf happened here.

  • Great first video bro but like someone else already said, we need a second video on how to calibrate/adjust the scopes.

  • Hey man, Good tut.

BUT...How loud was the music when you were playing in int and calibrating the threshold? Because when I do it, my speakers are pretty loud(but not as loud as a club) and the thresh shoots to-24dB. But if I turn the vol down, its ok, settling at bout -48dB.

  • thanks alot bro i got a question and i hope someone can help me ok im using sl3 and i have my sl3 hooked up to my tech pro amp now i want to know how would i set it up to be able to record my mixes because they say to bring the rca from the mixers master out to the sl3 in but then i want to know since the amp has the input where do i put the rca so i be able to hook it up with the amp also

  • This was cool; I've been using Scratch Live for gigs and for my radio show for several years, and what you've shown is a really simple thing to do whenever I go away from hom. Thanks so much, man!

  • i do the same thing with cdj pioneers but i get the noise again... whats the problem ?? can someone tell me

  • im jamming on cdj's wen i go 2 calibrate the slider moves all the way 2 the da left sup wit that bro help?

  • good tutorial bro, but you forgot to explain how to get perfect scopes, but overall nice job keep it up

  • dude nice tutorial, but it took you 6 minutes to say what could have been said in 20 seconds.

  • True, but you know I have to dumb it down and explain every minute detail. Turn up volume, put needle on record and press estimate button wouldn't make for a very informative video.

  • Only when i calibrate it on phono the slider moves by itself and when its on line it just moves all the way to da left. i have cdj

  • You are the shit dude.lol i cant picture you with dat voice trying to get the crowd crunk in the club tho.lol

  • Dam this dude got some good tutorials! This will all come in handy once i get SSL!

  • Do I need to calibrate if I just use the keybroad?

  • If you're just using Internal mode, then no, you don't need to calibrate. Calibrating is only for using external timecode control.

  • @SouthernCaliDJs No, you need to quit DJ'ing and get a typewriter. Noob... SMH.

  • Thanks for the video Konix i`ve noticed you only calibrated 1 deck so if I put a song on internal mode using my left deck can I calibrate both decks at the same time instead of having to switch songs via internal mode?

  • Yes, you'll want to make sure to calibrate both decks. You can do both sides at the same time with a song in internal mode on either deck, you don't need to switch the song to the other deck or anything.

  • Yes you still need to calibrate with CDJs. Instead of putting the needle on the record, you just pause the control CD, then do as described in the video.

  • Do you need to do this is your using CDJ's? If so , how? Since there is no needle to Calibrate.

  • sweet now i know whats causing serato to make that distorted noise...ill have to calibrate soon

  • what do you use to get the picture in picture?

  • Screenflow

  • Props!

  • Just giving props for your time and dedication.

  • appreciated, i was wondering why my serato was making those noises

  • Thx 4 da vid :D

  • great video man Thanks!
