  • These days do you play gigs or just compose? If you're ever near Sarasota, Fl our Jazz Club of 500 members would love to see you play in a trio like this.

  • great performance dode

  • awesome interpretation of my favorite piece by avishai cohen!!!

  • killer job!!! loving your style man! im in the proccess of transcribing this for guitar... what a workout!

  • Do you have any sheet music, of this song?, thank you

  • @rulas599

I transcribed it myself which also helps you getting a better understanding of the music.

It might take a while but it's well worth the effort and fun once you get it right.

  • Dude, the Bouree all over the piano solo made me smile :D SO beautifully explored

And the Prelude 2 in C minor on 4:24 is also a really nice touch, it's a pity you couldn't develop it more thoroughly as you did with the Bouree (but all solos unfortunately have to end at some point right?) A Bach fan I suppose? lol

    Already a favorite, beautiful rendition!

  • @giopagoda

Thank you, glad you liked it!

Yeah, Bach fan indeed. I think Avishai's classic harmonies and Bach's timelessly beautiful melodies make a great combination.

  • ahhh, amazing. This song is such a mind fuck. I considered attempting it with my band... I have changed my mind.

  • @DangerDancer69

It might be worth trying, cause it's a lot of fun once you figure it out.

  • That's great, really good cover, congratulations !

Could you tell me about the "bars metric system" (I mean if it's 4/4 or 6/8, etc...) ?

  • @Sowathehellisgoingon

    Thanks!

The introduction is in 5/4, the entire rest is in 6/4 but the subdivision is kind of complex... ;-)

  • @Bartaros Thanks ! I'm feeling like a total idiot, I can't count correctly the 6/4.

  • @Sowathehellisgoingon

Don't worry, you're not the only one! I had a hard time, too, when I first heard that tune (and for quite a while after that... ;-)

It might be a bit easier to count during the piano solo than during the theme or drum solo, cause they're tricky.

  • NICE WORK! this is fantastic. all around, this cover is right on.

  • @AMES942

    Thanks a lot!
