all stannah lifts talk. its part of the DDA guidelines ( Disability Discrimination Act) which is also the reason lifts are installed. and it makes every floor in a building classed as groundfloor.

At least that WHSMITH cares about its lift,southends one is a company called acorn and its been broken for 3weeks now and they dont even say that its broken people get stuck in it daily now great vid

I know irl try and film it but a staff person came up to it while a old lady was wating and he just said oh it keeps breaking dont get in it i got stuck in it earlier today

Actually they're very reliable lifts. Acorn on the other hand are terrible.

that lift is a pain, ive mended that one a few times. keeps on overheating.

I agree. If this one keeps breaking down in that heat then I wonder how the other stannah elevator in the Sports world in Romford can handel it on the 1st floor

So this one is sports world is the same and its never broke down, does it have the same voice because im despretly trying to ride a stannah with that voice i live about Half a hour on 25mins away from romford

no, sports world is on the left side of the mall if you get a 193 from Hornchurch then carry on to romford and get off out side the main enterance and on your right it will be. It is an ugly elevator but there it is at romford mall

I don't know, but I live near 3 elevators. the hornchurch library and two at St. Georges oh and one at my school. We have an Oakland elvator or it could be a Hitech because it has the same display but it could be an oakland because it has the same buttons

Look at Keyholes. They usually allow access with a key to Staff Floors, meaning those rear doors open out to a staff floor
