  • was a shame they took it off the are,, but is tv showbusines.. ty for the interwebs..

  • Opening intro/theme itself makes this classic worth watching.

  • This show was worth staying home on saturday nights. They don't make shows like this anymore.

  • I just started watching Mike Hammer. Well, i guess it's better late than never, heh.

Oh man, i just love the saxophone tunes in those episodes.

    Hammer rules.

  • I watch in the Philippines back in the

80's when ABS CBN airs this.

    What a classic

  • Wish I could buy the DVDs somewhere :(

  • Great show

  • Should have left out use of the tobacco drug.

  • Who else thinks that Kent fella is the spit of Chevy Chase?

  • Great show and it was actually filmed on location in New York, just like the Equalizer. Ahh.... the 80's...

  • Like that fact that the character Mike Hammer additionally acts as narrator in these programme - makes it even better.

  • That was a great show.

  • non fiori, ma opere di pinketts

  • great theme , i love it

  • Longest intruduction sequence EVER

  • Quit being a wussy!!!

  • mike hammer the p i was da shit back then

  • eine der besten serien der welt !!!

darum wollte ich als kind immer privat detektiv werden !!!!

aber dieser staatsanwalt war ein wichser haha

  • The best private dick tv show EVER!!!

  • Mike Hagger from the Final Fight videogame is a rip-off of this guy.

  • @Infamous256 or Tom Sellick or Don Frye

  • Was that the running joke on the show that Hammer never can eat a slice of pizza without something/somebody bumping into him?

  • That looked cheesy as hell.

  • @samgrahaminc no, that pizza looked fake as hell!

  • This uptempo version is nice but still can't touch the original had obvious sex appeal

  • Remember Titus...Keach should have kicked his ass more in that show!

  • truly kooooooooooooool theme music.

  • Velda's rocking the horrid mid-80s Aqua Net shellac hair.

  • What the? Excessive use of umlaut at 0:10 of this video.

  • was this before or after he got busted doing drugs

  • does anybody know defnitively what years this was on? OUt of curiousity really...

  • IMDb will tell the years it was on.

  • I love the theme song.

  • Stacy Keach is a badass

  • Keach is GOD.

  • Anyone know where to find all those 'One Liners' he uses in the show? "The sun went down like a high heeled hooker in New York"

  • Warden Pope is badass!

  • stacy keach is the man!

  • This was one of THE best Detective Shows on CBS, back in the days of Magnum P.I., Airwolf and The Equalizer.

Stacy Keach was @ his best, and when he was on Titus, he is stil one of the best actors on TV.

God Bless Stacy Keach on his wonderful performance and also, God Bless CBS and Columbia Pictures Television on a job well done, and God Bless Mickey Spillane and Jay Bernstein, you are both truly missed, R.I.P.

  • Does anybody know if this show is out on DVD yet? I already have the newer one from the 90's.

  • I'm rereading Spillane's "Vengeance is Mine" and I can only picture Stacey Keach as Mike Hammer.

  • this theme music is right on...Harlem Nocturne is moving and this version is great. I was taping it in the 80's and still digging it now.

  • Loved this program.

Can't beat 'Harlem Nocturne' as theme music. Great.

  • Just saw him in Prison Break. I knew it was him. Thanks for posting!
