My second appointment in my life (Was a trip!!!) Extracted all four wisdom tooth in one month - almost blacked out for the last! You guys do not know half of it (Lucky buggers!) hahahaha

I have braces At the moment. I just got them late may and I have an expander appliance thing at the top of my mouth and it isnt touching the roof so i talk funny and i choke on food. haha. I also have 2 cavities starting :S I hate my dentist, love my orthidonist. haha. Lisa ur so cute :3

I'm not scared of the dentist... but i did get oral surgery by my dentist one time and it was horrible! i got a frenulectomy or something. ugh. the surgery wasn't bad but then i had to get the stitches out... which they said wouldn't hurt... but i healed over the stitches and they had to dig them out piece by piece and it killlleeedddd because they only gave me this weird numbing gel that didn't even work. AH. :(

So you guys are back home now? I am so afraid of the dentist! Luckily, I've only had to go for cleanings as I've never had a cavity or anything. So far, so good!

The only thing that calms me down when I go is that the dentist has a dog (I'm a huge dog person!). I always get to play with the dog first to lighten the mood and relax. It sounds crazy, but it works. The dentist knows and always makes sure that the dog is there on days that I have an appointment! :)

For example, my sister takes amazing care of her teeth, she flosses, brushes three times a day and swashes - but she gets cavitites.

Me, I brush twice and don't swash or floss - I haven't gotten a cavity in my life. O___O

I brush 3 times a day, i'm a vegan, don't drink juices that i don't juice myself and i avoid soda, coffee and sweet teas.. I still get cavities every few years. My mom has never had a cavity in her life and all she does is brushes 2 to 3 times per day. That's it. So, there must be a genetic component. Ug.

My old dental insurance was expiring on March 31, and since I usually never spent enough to justify the premium, I did not renew.

On April 1 I chipped a tooth. Needed a crown. $guzillioin.

Having the rest of my teeth taken out was very painful... I can say that I only had one wisdom tooth but the most painful teeth were the bottom front... Hurt like HELL.....

My roots are dissolving. They become loose and hurt beyond belief. I had to have 4 pulled in one visit and NO insurance [$500 bucks]

My crowns are almost perfect. Wish I had teeth to get drilled in all honesty.

It hurts in so many ways-physical-finical-emotiona­l- and knowing if my roots were ok,crowded would be my only problem.

I hate the dentist, the sound of the drill .. everything lol. I go to a dentist that has a plaque on his wall that says " I cater to cowards" LMAO .. and he has a flat screen TV so you can watch whatever you want when he's drilling away. He has a tool that vibrates and fools your nerve while he's giving you the shot so you don't even feel the shot. I still hate the thought of the needle lol.
